really feel slow when i compare it to my HTC desire
i think its mostly because its in "3D-like"...anyway just swype ur finger fast and ull see its not following exactly. where in other menu it does
anyway to change it to a desire-like one?
thx
Search for HelixLauncher in the Android Market and give it a try. Once it is installed you can press the Home key and you'll be given a choice of which launcher to use. The HelixLauncher will replace this applications menu with a non-3D, but faster, list. There is also HelixLauncher2 which keeps the 3D effect, but it's not as fast or stable yet.

Hi,
I'm using PK2.0 BlackTouch ROM (WM6) and would like to try and find the "smartdialer" I used to use on a version WM6 I used on my HTC Universal.
The one I like, when you start typing in a name from the today screen, launches a screen that looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Instead of this one:
Any tips on where I can find the 1st one?
I think PK uses Real VGA. In the real vga settings there is a checkbox for Disable Phone Skin. Just check that box. You may have to SOFT reset.
Oh that worked perfect, thanks!!

On some pictures I see 4 ¨large icons at the bottom of the HTC UI. Assuming it is shortcuts, I would very much like to have them, but I dont know how. I downloaded the TD 2 Tools program, which also have the "Enable Programs Tab", but I dont know if its the same. Anywho, when trying to enable it has always removed the tick in the box when I apply settings and restart my device.
To put it short: Is it possible to get the shortcut icons, and how?
Here it is:

Is there a link or how to on how modify these at all?
Any suggestions at all or a link that may get me started? Ive been pretty successful with the search option up until now
Simple really,
Show us your home screens and list the widgets / apps you're using!
You may have something someone else likes, or maybe someone has something you like but haven't found yet!

That one appears to be off-topic, now the phone is released and this is the busiest forum, I thought I'd post it here
mmmm gingerbread - without flashing the device, how does one return it to stock appearance?
