I just read that there is a software for the older pocket pc phone edition to make the camera from vga to 1.3 mega pixel. Now may be i am wrong but if somebody can help me. thanks

It's abolutely impossible to make a 1.3mp out of 0.3mp camera
However, it's possible to interpolate pixels and enlarge 0.3mp picture to 1.3mp.
You get a blurred 1.3mp image this way, which is pointless in most cases.
The software you seek probably does such thing, so forget about it.

Ok.. I messed up.... I did research... Here is my problem...
I have a HTC Kaiser as my personal phone, my roomate has a Sprint Mogul, and my son has a HTC Polaris (We are an HTC Family.. lol).. Recently I fould an update for the Camera I was using on the Kaiser.. It required an album upgrade and then the camera cab... On my Kaiser it works great... My son wanted it on his Polaris, and again it was flawless... Now this morning my roomate wanted to try it out on his mogul.. .it FAILED... It says it can not caprute the image from the device... before I hit the button to take the picture I can clearly see everything on the screen.. it just won;t take it.. I found the cab's for the camera software, both the vogue and mogul... Neitehr of those work either.. I am thinking it has somethign to do with the album software... but I can;t find a cab for the original.. Please help!

Install them both making sure to soft reset. Let me know if this helps you out.
Thank you so much Ryan.. I greatly appreciate it.. I downloaded them and will try them in the phone as soon as he is home with it. If this fixes everything... Is there any other camera software you woudl reccomend over the stock that is known to work on the Titan (with stock rom)

There is another Camera you can use but you lose the Flash. It supposedly takes nicer pictures but I have not really seen too much of a difference. That Camera is the Vogue (Touch) Camera. If this works for you I will CAB that Camera up also so you can try them both.
I loaded the vogue camera on my titan a while back and it does take better pictures. They are less washed out and less blurry than the titan camera. I never really used the flash, so losing it doesn't really matter to me.

I'm currently looking into different camera cabs for the titan myself. The stock one sucks..I wish there was some way to adjust the shutter speed. I'm guessing that the vouge one is the only one out there..sucks that the flash wont work anymore..
hi all. i have dutty's r9 installed in my blackstone, which is a great rom btw, but i didn't like to lose the zoom in the upgraded camera, so i reinstalled the original hd camera app.
zoom came back and camera seems to be working fine, but now the shots that i take are not being saved in landscape mode anymore. i tried two different cabs of the original camera and this is happening in both of them. any ideas of how to fix it?

The difference between 6.28 and 6.15 is to autofocus.
In 6.28 comes into operation when you do the photo, while the 6.15 is "continuous" so the shot is faster and pictures less moves
this is my experience
yeah ive found the same, with the later camera it takes ages to focus, you end up trying to stay still for what seems like forever!
Did the cab work ok? If so i'll install it too.

You right man, I tried 6.15 instead of 6.28 and it's faster, AF looks really better.

Camera issue on af
Hi users of Touch HD, I've recently acquired a Touch HD and was very pleased with it. However, I got an issue with the camera.
To those parents out there who like to take candid photos of our children would understand what I meant. I try to take photo of my 2 year old daughter who is always playing around. When I press the only button, it will take a while to focus then "snap". By the time it "snap", it's not the picture that I wanted. Anyone has this issue or any ways to counter this problem? I know dedicated camera would not have this issue as the button would have 2 actions " focus" then "snap". Hope to hear from the pros here.

i have a stock ROM with 6.6 camera, i am now going to try the 6.15 in this topic, but i would also like to try the 6.28, can someone by any chance post a cab with the 6.28 camera?
i have another question, with the 6.6 camera the autofocus only works after i press the shot button, and in other rom i had the camera made the autofocus before pressing the shot button. how does the 6.15 work, and the 6.28?

When I used wm6.1, I was able to zoom on a picture by making a circle on the screen.
Now I have the wm6.5 energyrom and I would want to be able to zoom again but I have no idea what version it used to be and where to get it.

I've a Problem with my Camera on my HTC Diamond 2.
If I start the Camera from Sense and try to take a picture, the camera get stuck and after some time the camera closes.
Sometime an error message appears:
Unable to switch to preview mode. Failed to set up the camera device.
I google 't it and find out that many other people have the same problem on other htc devices.
So is there a solution now ?
How can i use my camera ?
Is there a camera fix for Win 6.5 ?
