The best thing to do it find the ROM you like most, then read abuot what Radio's are compatible with said rom, (this info should be in the thread dedicated to your chosen rom)

Thanks for that

Which radio is proper for ROM 1.66.405.2 (WWE)

Hi guys,
I have updated my ROM from 1.48 to 1.66.405.2 (WWE) recently and after that, I have noticed Im only on 448MB RAM according to system info in my device. So Ive searched a little bit and found out that more RAM is reacheable only with certain radio ROM which is something like "compatible" with exact ROM. Therefore Ive tried to upgrade my radio ROM to 2.08.50, but it has a same result. Only 448MB RAM.
Can anyone advise to me proper version of radio ROM with 1.66.405.2 (WWE) please?
Thx.
the proper radio on the stock rom as i know it's the original radio that came with the specific ROM
You Sir require:
Radio Rom: 2.06.51.07

[Q] Android ROM as per my phone configuration

Hi Friends,
I am looking forward to install Android Froyo 2.2 build on my HD2.
But i have concerns about which HSPL,ROM and RADIO to use as per the current configuration of my phone.
I am using stock 1.66 WWE ROM
Radio ver is 2.06.51.07
Manila ver is 2.5
I have heard issues in flashing ROMS on radio with .51.
I don't want to brick my phone with a wrong ROM version!
Please advise the HSPL,ROM and RADIO that works for Android Froyo 2.2 customization.
Thanks!
Looking at your spec on your HD2 all is ok except you will need 2.12**** radio the offset of this is of course a hard HSPL. Look at the forum for flashing roms and hspl as you will have to first change your stock hspl and then flash the new radio. I run the standard WWE build 1.66.
Can you let me know the compatable ROMS with Radio 2.12 and if it should be HSPL2 or HSPL3?
Anyone with any pointers the query above? I am not able to find the relevant listing anywhere in forum
Can someone please let me know if HSPL2 or HSPL3 has to be used as per the configuration of my phone.
SPL in my phone is 1.42.0000
stock 1.66 WWE ROM
Radio ver is 2.06.51.07
Manila ver is 2.5
I am planning to move on to 2.12.50.02 Radio.
Please let me know which HSPL to use, if that makes a difference!
Bingo.....................!!

[Q] Which radio to choose

Hi Friends,
I am sorry if the question is duplicate, I tried searching for almost 3 days but not able to find suitable answer. I bricked my one HD2 already so want to be on safe side now.
My this model says installed
Radio as : 2.05.51.05_2
OS : 5.2.21869 (21869.5.0.85)
Manila : 2.5.19211619.0
Rom : 1.48.720.2 (71294) WWE
Now I want to install SD Android (to be specific freeapps4hd2.blogspot.com/2011/04/htc-hd2-apps-android-cm7-233.html ) Please suggest me better android if you know
It requires radio update. Which version shall I use? I dont want to brick this model too. Please help me
I installed .51 radio on my older device which was T-mobile version with .50 radio. I ended up with bricked cell.
This device has .51 radio, if I use .50 radio will it brick this too?
Thanks,
Vipul
You can use any radio, the ..51.. radio brick only affects tmous,, it doesn't exist on regular hd2,, reg hd2 can use 50 or 51 radios.
But,, since you are using android, you must use a 50 radio, so might as well go for 2.15.50, , basically any 50 radio higher than 2.07.50 is fine.

The easiest way to update the radio would be to download and flash HTCs latest official stock ROM (version 3.14). This will upgrade to radio 2.15.50 and enable you to use SD Android. As for the build, I would recommend sticking to builds straight from XDA. Just go to the Android SD section and download one from there. Those get updated regularly enough and there is much more variety. You will be able to choose between CM7, Sense, MIUI and other ROMs, and, seeing as you're using SD, be able to trial all of them quickly and easily.
Also, I would say that that guide is wrong. You DO NOT need HSPL in order to use SD Android, just need to flash an official stock ROM and place the files on your SD. For that exact build, see AmeriCanAndroid in the Android SD development section.
Thanks for your guidance!

Latest Radio for our HD2

Hi.
I would like to know what is the latest Radio for T-Mobile HD2 users out der !
I ask because I have heard some of the RADIOs can brick the HD2 upon flashing. I am also using Android on my HD2 with MAGLDR 1.13 so please tell me latest radios compatible with it.
THanks
The latest or should I say the last radio to be released for the HD2 is the 2.15.50.14 radio version you can download it form the The HTC HD2 Master Radio Thread.
Now you are correct the wrong radio flashed to the TMOUS HD2 will instantly brick it. You do not want to flash any radio that has a 51 in it such as the following example radio version does.
2.07.51.22 Notice the 51 and the placement of the 51.
You also do not want to flash any 2.04.50.xx or 2.05.50.xx radio versions as they were the radio versions that were run on the TMOUS test tom devices and are actually meant to be run on EU HD2s. And just to be safe I would recommend not flashing any 2.06.50.xx radio version too as I have read of at least one instance where a radio version such as that bricked a TMOUS HD2 as well.
Thanks for the info. I am already on the latest one. I thought may be there was a new one...i was wrong.
