Hello guys I wanted to ask you some info on the battery of my kaiser.
Then I have the original battery, I believe it are running low because very little hard, but I wanted to ask if there is a way to actually verify that the battery is dying? Software or another type?
Second thing I wanted to ask is: if (very likely) that the battery is truly exhausted could you advise me to buy what I read around the 2800mAh battery cmq or enhanced, or Li-Pon if not mistaken other than Li-ion battery. ...... Can you give me some advice??
Thanks
Amazon has some good finds for extended batteries

I've this issue and twice I changed the battery
Yeah.. It's obvious that you need a new battery.
P.S. What's with the big letters and red font?
thank you FOSA
My friend I have tow devices and they have the same problem.
My friend DaVince
Do you think the tow batteries are damage?
Thank you,
I wouldn't say damaged.. it's probably just old and the charge/use cycles have been too much already.
I would like to say many thanks for you and I need your advice about that if necessary to buy new battery or not.
Best regard
uau!!! I have the same, my device turn off but... with 80%!!!!!?
I have just been through the same thing with my MDA Pro and a new, original equipment battery (at £35!) has sorted the problem completely. Hell of a relief as I was thinking the problem lay in the charging hardware of the Universal.
Another group of people who never read before Posting.
@Midget
Suggestion, now Universal has 4 forum (Universal, Upgrading, Accessories, WM6), why not create a 5th one for this lazy people say with the title "Universal Batteries issues for the Lazy" and move all the batteries discussion there.
Kind of get sick with these questions about Universal dead X% of battery, and somemore in Bold Red.
Hi everyone,
I'm searching for a reliable battery who can feat in the kaiser without using a new back.

Hi,
Thank you very much,
But did you find a higher capacity battery ?
Ok so quick question.
I am looking at purchasing an extended battery for my HD2 which is running a MIUI custom android 2.3.4 rom (BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA DESIRE HD | GINGER Sense&HoneyComB | MIUI).
Since I have under 8 posts, I am unable to provide the link, but from ebay's homepage, I used the search: NEW BATTERY FOR HTC HD2 EXTENDED + DOOR T-MOBILE 3500MH
What I am curious about is that this post says it is a 3500MH battery, yet no where on the pics do I see this on the battery itself.
Is there an application out there that I can install that will verify this battery is indeed 3500MH once I install it? I have googled like crazy for this answer already & I have searched the forums already for similar threads, so lets keep the peanut gallery replies to a minimum. Respectful assistance is all that is needed.
Thanks for the help on this one.

After looking at it, I think it may be encrypted in the part number cuz it goes '35H00' I think there is an app, but you may want to search 'battery' in the market, as I haven't used them; also if you get it, make sure you calibrate you battery.
lol if i knew you would have had the answer, I would have just pm'ed you! thanks for the info, I should have googled the battery model number. I had searched battery in the market, but all that came up were battery saver apps and what not. Juice defender seems pretty decent, but I never have kept a rom on the phone long enough to notice a difference in battery.
do extended battery show correct perecentage in windows mobile ?
I doubt it will show correct percentage, but I am running Android, which is not showing correct percentage. I have to reboot phone once battery is low andthen it shows the true remaining amount. Once it gets down to 15% it stays there for a while. I got the 3500mah battery from eBay for like ten bucks and its worth it, but the cheap plastic back cover that comes with it sucks.
I got this
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=270737783770
Inclues a case and is original HTC so works correctly. The build quality is very good.
The El cheapo ones that quote BS numbers don't give you any longer battery life from what I've read. And, they tend to loose capacity quickly. Reality is, unless you switch to a radically different technology, the storage density stays the same. So, if you have two batteries the same size, and one offers 2300 and another 3500... guess which one is using a bit of controller ic trickery to feed you BS. The fact that they don't work properly is a good giveaway.
Seriously, if you had the tech to double the density, would you be selling it on eBay for ten bucks?
Thanks you for all information.
Hi all!
I have been getting bad battery performance on my axon 7 for as long as I can remember but didn't really want to try custom rom because I'm afraid it will void warranty. SOT reported with GSam is 2h30m. Fast forward the phone was water damaged and fixed locally so my warranty is voided anyway. So I think it's time for me to try out custom rom.
My main concern is battery life then functionality. Any recommendation for rom & kernel would be much appreciated! Thank you very much!

You might have to replace your battery . I did mine myself in about a half an hour . Batteries are cheap and the fix is relatively easy.

Guy above is right. But I'd like you to try something. Before changing it, use Accubattery to see how much capacity your battery had. After 2 charges you'll have a pretty good idea of how utterly destroyed it is. I managed to get 7 hours of SOT when the phone had about a month of use, now I'm getting 4:30. My battery says 2400 mAh.
Also, there's a bigger battery going around, a Losoncoer 3650 mAh battery. It's reportedly the same size and all. If you happen to try it out, let me know. I want to change the battery and i still haven't decided whether to buy one of those or an original one.
For comparison, the original one is 3140 mAh

Do you see improvement? You didn't have to do anything to the phone after the battery swap right?

you don't if you don't want to, and how would you not see the improvement after basically doubling (or more) the battery capacity?
Maybe you'll need to download a battery calibration app, those basically delete the calibration file and the phone should generate a new one

I bought my phone used in January. I was told it was a little over a year old . It was immediately obvious to me that the battery had issues and I had no insight into the charging history . Accubattery pro told me the capacity was just over 1800 mAh or 58%. I just rebooted after the install of the new battery and now it's it's back where it should be and working great.

Lol what. Accubattery is just to get the capacity estimate. After using it you should just decide whether to change the battery or not.
My battery is at 1700 mAh or 55%. I guess I'm replacing my battery first then. Is there any advice as to slow down battery deterioration process?
Edit: back to the custom rom question, does it make much of difference on battery life over stock?

Yes to both. First, charge the phone only up to 80% or so. that will prolong the battery lifespan about 3 times. There's a mod that can be installed via Magisk, that automatically stops charging when it arrives to a given percentage, then starts charging after it uses a couple percent.
And custom ROMs can be much better in the battery life department, but not always. In my case I get about 4.5h SOT on stock and 5.5H on Oreo AEX
(My battery seems to have 2400 mAh, also want to change it, but I have completely decent SOT)
P.S. Please do tell me if you buy a 3650 mAh battery. I'm thinking on buying one of those. They say that they are the same size than the original ones. plus they are not that much more expensive

What rom are you use right now? I get about 3.5 to 4 SOT on stock. Considering to flash AEX, but I not sure it worst it - stock rom have pretty good camera, spearker, "google now on tap" which is very important to me (google assistant hater)
The 3650 mAh is completely fake. I think it is impossible to place a bigger battery in the same space in the machine
The battery on my Pro3 LEX727 is on it's way out- only 75% of original capacity left and I'm now getting 2hrs of screen on time on a good day. I used to get 3.5 or 4. Not to mention the noticeably worse day-to-day performance.
Is there anywhere where I can purchase a genuine OEM or OEM quality battery? I would hate to buy a battery, wait a month for it to come to the US, and the have the replacement be no better than the dying battery currently in my phone.
Thanks in advance!

I haven't found any OEM batteries.
There are so many options it's hard to choose here are a few links for compatible batteries
3950mAh Battery For LETV Le Pro 3 X720,
I would choose this one, I have read many great reviews on this battery ( Our device will only recognise 4070)
https://www.ebay.com/i/192540002019?chn=ps
Finally, when you take the screen off
Do not use a hair dryer, use a heat gun instead.
A heat gun will get the glue hot enough that the screen will slide off easily.
You can buy a heat gun at Harbor Freight for $8
If you use a hair dryer with guitar picks You WILL damage your screen
Mr. tsongming -
Question about the HSABAT LTF23A 4400mAh Battery you recommended below -
Do you mean to say that if i install this battery in my X727, it will only charge to/recognize 4070mAh ?
or do you mean that it will recognize/charge to the full 4400mAh, but a stock battery is only 4070mAh ?
I guess my question is basically will my X727 fully charge this battery and last longer than the stock battery would ?
Or is the X727 somehow programmed to only charge the battery up to 4070 mAh ?
Thanks !

Technically you could make changes to the rom to be able to use the entire amount of the battery.
I have seen mixed reports. Some people think its better to only use an OEM battery. ( Which means Original Equipment Manufacturer) Honestly, I see their point. but since the Leeco source is available, I am sure that after market batteries are likely also just as good.

To be clear, I have read many positive reviews on the HSABAT. But you can't go wrong buying the OEM battery for only $7
Mr. Tsongming -
I understand. Sure would be nice if it was able to charge up to the full capacity, but that's ok, 4070 is still plenty for my usage. Thank you for your wisdom regarding this. You are clearly an expert with the Pro3. I have learned so much from your posts and am thankful for your presence here on this forum.
