"Mediaserver" taking up a lot of CPU, not allowing sleep and SuperCharger?

Anyone else notice this? Sure I stream Pandora and Songza a little, but it seems this service is preventing sleep bigtime (battery drain at night is substantial).
Anyone have any ideas? Tweaks? Running 4.1.1 stock rooted. Do I need to try a new kernel?
On a semi-related note, has anyone tried SuperCharger V6? Any performance gains?

I am having the same problem. Media server is keeping my tablet awake when it should be sleeping and it is draining battery life. Anyone have a clue how to fix this?

I had this on my HOX originally. Removing any media streaming widgets helped a bit. Last FM was a right drainer.
Although an update got rid of it completely.

I have tried, but IMO it works better on devices with less ram or a ram intensive UI like HTC sense on my Incredible S
Not much difference in terms of performance, but I like to use it anyway
Me too but I don't even have any media streaming apps, unless you count Google music but that is set to only play offline.

Im having it and it is very annoying! It drains my battery when im on 3G.I also got around 12-15% of this wakelock when on 3G (on wifi it is a lot lower). I've googled it but I don't know what to do to get rid of it, if its even possible.
From what I read it doesnt seem that everyone have this wakelock which is pretty strange.

Yes, I am having the same problem, I have never had anything eat up this much battery. This just showed up on BBS.

[Q] High battery drain since installing MIUI 5 theme in apex launcher

I am not 100% if the issue is this theme in apex or if my battery is becoming defective, the phone / battery is only about 4 - 5 months old though.
Since installing the miui 5 theme and running applying it in apex i have found my battery is going down very fast, the only thing is i am not 100% its definitely that but seems like it may be the obvious thing if its not a battery error.
Can anyone tell me if the miui 5 theme through apex should bring a higher battery drain or should there be no effect at all, and therefore my issue is totally unrelated and i need to look elsewhere for the issue?
thanks

Hi.
U might want to refer in here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532210
Cheers.
I guess Applock is causing the issue, anyway...I factory reset my device and I'm having great battery life now.

Battery draining fast..cell standby???

Hi guys..im on 5.1.1 and the battery life sucks bigtime..due to cell standby. Is there any new updated fix for this? I tried solutions posted on youtube but no luck. I love my note 4 but this is killing me!! Thanks
Why not update to 6.0...? It might fix your issue with doze...
Sorry what do u mean by doze?

Doze is new feature in all.6.0.1 marshmallow devices by default to save battery life and apps optimization.
Lollipop is a mess the worst update ever for note 4 in.my opinion.
I recommend you 6.0.1 or 4.4.4 kitkat for better battery life.
Ok..are any of you having problems with the battery on 6.0.1??
