Android for Titanium help needed - Android Software Development

HI guys,
Is there anyone out there that is using Titanium to develop Android apps? Can some you please explain how you actually develop and use Titanium?
At the moment I've followed the instructions and can't even get the emulator up and running. I can do this and have built an app in Eclipse already. What am I missing here??
(prompt me for more info if it helps)
TIA.

[Q] Stock ROM Virtual Machine?

Hey all, I am in the process of trying my hand at making some ADW themes.
I would like to see if I can get an image that has the market available with internet that works so I can do some testing.
Anyone got a link to something that I can import into the android SDK that will help with testing, or even a guide so I can learn to do it myself?
This sounds invaluable. I would also like to know if anything like this is floating around.

Why do you need market in the virtual device? Just adb install your apk...

If I could figure out how to do it with Eclipse and the ADK I would have done it already.
I can get the compiled APK on the virtual device but I need to have ADW installed as well to test out the theme.
Sadly I don't have a ton of time to invest and would like to not have to learn too many things BEFORE I do what I intend to do.

AVD stands for 'android virtual device'. AVDs are is used by the Eclipse IDE for developing apps for the Android system. Essentially, when developing an app it is very useful to check it against the AVDs of different android devices to ensure that the app will perform properly on each device.
When I asked for help, I thought that this forum - namely xda-developers - would be able to point me to sources of the AVD's of various android devices. I'm surprised that no-one seems to have heard of them - are there any andriod app developers that read this forum?

[Q] Hey I'm new to all this can someone please help

Just got my atrix and really need some help. I've rooted it and put adeo v.1 on it but still in the dark about how to install *.apk and alot more other stuff. and help or instruction on general things like how to open a shell terminal to do some of this. I use to do alot of this kind of stuff on computers but have been out of this kind of stuff for a long time. any help would be greatly appreciated.
The easisest way to install them is to either download them direct to the phone or toss them on your SD card, and think of them as executibles. They need to be clicked on from your phone and installed just like an app on your computer. they may ask for superuser depending on what they do.
