I've installed HTC_Manila2d.cab (v2.0 build 14xx Size 14 929kb) and it looks like this:
But I would like to see the weather on the main screen, below the clock and I cannot find out how to do it. On the main screen below the clock it says "Press here to update weather", I press it, something update and then nothing happens. It keeps always saying "Press here to update weather".
I want like this:

When I installed the Manilla v2.0 standalone cab shown above, the WM6.5 ROM didn't have it. That is why I installed v2.0. Anyway, installing it standalone seems to have more bugs and functions that don't work (and require more workarounds to fix it). That is probably why that function of updating the weather on main screen isn't working.
Now I'm using nAr & icke WM6.5 P3600 [21895.5.0.90][WWE] that includes manilla v1.2 but this one doesn't even has the possibility of showing weather forecast on the main screen below the clock like I want:
Is there any "good" WM6.5 ROM for P3600 with Manilla v2.0?

If I was to install the touchflo 3d onto my X1, what exactly happens? Does a new panel get created specifically for Touchflo 3d? Does the X1's today panel get replaced with it? Or does the X1's entire panel interface get replaced with it? Also, what are those other Blackstone .cab's for that I see floating around?
I am new to this world, but here are my findings:
TF3D is set up as a single big element of the first today screen, and upong installing the Full Cabs of TF3D (or putting a TF3D ROM) you get it setup like this by default.
but you can easily go to setting and reconfigure your Today screen with the default elements like the Owner info and the rest of the stuff.
but there is also a TF3D as panel, that you install after having TF3D already running which creates a panel for TF3D, this my my current situation, i use the Touch-It 3.0 ROM by itje but TF3D disabled from first Today Menu and installed as Panel..
so if I want TF3D as a panel, what do I do? with some many threads and files about this, it gets a little confusing. Could you point me to the correct thread that gives the files and directions on how to get it running as a panel?

I have no direct solution.. but.. do you restore your PIM(conacts, messages, calendar, tasks) with SKTools (Backup) ?
I have the same problem too. When I used TF Detacher, this took me to the today screen which I liked. However, I have since uninstalled this programme and use Second Today instead. I would like to assign the clock on TF to go to the Second Today screen if this is possible. I know someone may suggest SMPAHO (or something like that) but I never really understood that programme!!!!
This actually happens for me either when
A) I install a cooked ROM with a custom clock - i.e. Deep Shining or NRGRom
b) I use Manilla Customizer to change the clock on either a clean cooked rom or an offical rom.
This appears to be a problem with the way the custom clocks are compiled.
Hi all - I'll be the proud owner of a T-Mobile TP2 in a few days. I didn't notice any cabbed up version of TF3D2.1 1919, so I took a stab at my own cab. Since I don't yet have my new phone, I can't test.
Anyone who wants to test it for me ... here it is.
Registry settings are for WM6.1. For 6.5, do this in your registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila]
"IsWM6.5"=dword:1
Oh, and if there's already a working cab out there, someone provide a link, and I'll ask a mod to close this thread.

Can you be more specific about what didn't work? Did the install itself fail? Does TF3D fail to start? It starts, but you don't see any difference?
Because I can't test (yet), whatever specific feedback you can provide will help.

It's possible this build doesn't do what I think it does -- just started catching up on Rhodium stuff, and maybe I misunderstood something or wrongly connected some dots. Notice any other new features?

I really searched the hell out of me and didn't find anything that helped me.
I upgraded my Topaz ROM from WinMobile 6.1 (original build) to a 6.5 Version with Manila 2.5 (Shadowline Series Build 28014x3) today. So far everything was good.
Until I tried the full-screen weather plugin. Since then my htc has (displaying) problems. The Today-Screen does not display anymore (it always shows the last screen, e.g. at logon the PIN-input screen remains) (=issue 1). I can still open the start menu which works and use all programs, except the settings tab, which gets highlighted as if started and then hangs as well (=issue 2). And so unfortunately I cannot remove the option for full-screen weather anymore.
Is there a chance to make the full-screen weather plugin undone in the registry (I couldn't find a tweak for this) as I think that this feature is the reason for the problems.
I knew that Manila 2.5 would be a bit too much for the Topaz for it only has 528 MHz. Now this is what I have from my desire for this build :-/
I already downloaded a ROM from Dutty and one with Sense 2.1. Nevertheless I wanna try the Shadowline without the weather plugin as well (as I like this ROM most). What would you experts suggest? Downgrade to Sense 2.1, use Dutty's ROM (which is said to be faster) or what else?

Without htc sense the ROM works fine. I unchecked the option in the registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\HTC Sense -> Enabled=0), restartet my Topaz. Then I chose windows standard for the home screen -> works.
Nevertheless I want to use HTC Sense but cannot find the reg-key for deactivating the full-screen weather option. The Sense seemed to have worked fine until I chose this option and set my home town as weather-location.

just make or pick a plain wallpaper and select it as animated wallpaper and the homescreen animation will go away.
Re-installation works
I re-installed the ROM completely and now it works, even if the full-screen weather animation is on. Okay, the animation runs slowly but nothing freezes as it was before.

Hey everyone , I installed Cookie's Home Tab ver 1.8.5 on my HTC Touch Diamond and the quick links displayed not perfectly...
I can't paste the image on my thread so I attached my sreenshot below
The 1st row and the 2nd row quick links are ok... but the 3rd row didn't display well...
I don't know what the reason is... perhaps there's always a problem so that the CHT makers included the options "remove dead quick link" in the CHT Editor
Anyone can solve this??
