Hey Guys, I'm traveling to Italy and Greece. I searched for the Carriers I'll be using while I'm there here for the SMS Settings but found nothing..and PicCell the place I got it from has nothing on the website.. well the carriers I'm using TIM Italy and Telestet Greece...any help would be appreciated.
I love the idea behind it and as someone who uses a lot of the stuff in Komplete, being able to easily categorize
sounds would be a huge benefit

what you talking about lol
Cant help you with your carriers (well, I do know that Italy also has WIND, try a search for that name) BUT I *do* know you do *not* need to change your sms settings when roaming. You will be able to text using your current settings. Same applies for GPRS etc -- as long as your network and the foreign network have a roaming agreement in place.

Any ideas?
Service manual?
Does any know where i can get the service manual for the droid 2?
Thank you.
hope this helps
here is the motorola support page for the droid 2: http://www.motorola.com/Support/US-EN/Consumer-Support/Mobile-Phones/Motorola+DROID+2 this might help
and here is the verizon support page: https://smartphones.verizonwireless.com/SupportDetails/Phone/Motorola/Droid2#/zip|94707/page|275/products|1000:2125/filters|1:6
the user manual which comes with it from verizon is right here: (couldn't upload it to xda so it is on megaupload, you could also find it on the verizon support page)

Hope this helps!
service manual
thank you, but what i need is the service manual, not the user manual i have it.
I need it to try to configure data with a movile carrier in Mexico, voice and sms are working but not my data plan
any ideas?
solved
Finally, I figured out how to do it.
Basically is like the Droid, just you dont need to boot the phone pressing the "T" key, what you have to do is put the phone in usb PC mode, and from there is the same as the original Droid. Create a virtual com port and connect with QPST or CDMA WS.
Cheers,
Hi Guys,
I need to test an application on different foreign networks.
For example i want to test my Application on AT&T US or Orange France.
Is there any solution to simulate these networks?
Thanks,
I have unlocked my US Cellular SM-N900R4 on Lilipop, and am now trying to get it working on T-mobile. After the local USC store unlocked it, I added an APN editor from the Playstore, and now have the data working for the LTE connection. The problem that i am having is that it gives a 'no Sim or Sim Error' when trying to place calls, probably due to the network setting not allowing me to select GSM / LTE network option. The only 2 options for network selection LET / CDMA or CDMA.
The following thread was for unlocking a Sprint G2 for Tmobile, but gave some good info but the apps just wornt work on my Note 3 on lilipop.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729370
The radio switcher app crashes, as well as the other ones that i saw on the PlayStore, so i cant select a GSM option
I was able to install an APN app to get the data working, so now i just need to get the voice / calls working. I was able to install the Rom Toolbox Lite app from the store, but there is no
ro.carrier=???
ro.build.target_operator=???
available from the build properties. Instead there are CDMA operator values for US Cellular and the 310??? value for US Celllar. Should i change this value to 'None'? IF so, what is the decimal value for the 'None' carrier option?
Can anyone give me some suggestions? are these apps specific to the Sprint G2 or to the android version? Is there a custom rom that might enable these settings?
Thanks in advance for any assistance or re-direction to information on the subject.
Suggestion would be to use the Sprint forums .
