I don't see any agenda items on my lock-screen... Is there a standard WM6.5 functionality to get my agenda items for a week on my lock screen..?? Or do I need to install an app like S2U2 to get the thing done..??
Have a standard 1.66.404 NLD ROM out-of-the-box....
Thanks in advance..!!

Do you know any good replacement app which does the trick..?? Or is it S2U2..??

More events on the lock screen?

Hi there?
is it possible to have more events on the lock screen than one?
having the MS Exchange active and many events every day, would be great to see on the main LockScreen.
I didn't find any in the HD2 Tips & Tweaks
Thanks for any info
Its really unbelievable that there are still people who havent heard of "Co0kies Hometab 1.7.1" ...
maybe I haven't heard of it because I do not use Sense
All I need is more events on the LockScreen
but thank you for your contribution anyway
Arrgh my fault, didnt read properly and thought you meant the homescreen. On the WM-LS its not possible yet ... Many people before you tried this. Dont know, but maybe you want to try a third party lockscreen like s2u2 or pocketshield (though i dont think so as you are not even using sense )
Greets
well AFAIK S2U2 can not show upcoming events - I used it for a while but got back to standart WM Lock Screen.
Gotta try the pockedshield yet
Thanks elburna.
But the question persists: is there any tweak to show more events in LockScreen?
S2U2 can show as many upcoming events, tasks, appointments as you want. U can even watch the details of every event by tapping it while in lockscreen.
Cheers
What Sense makes HD2 without Sense ?

no, not on the winmo lock screen.
You could have a look at the Manila-like Lockscreen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=618989
This one is included within CHT, but if you don't use Manila, you can install this as a standalone lockscreen. Should work also without Sense (dunno tho...).

Looking for a nice home screen calendar widget

As the title says really.
I have downloaded loads off the market place but all fall short.
I need a 4x1 widget that will display from my Exchange calendar and show my next couple of appointments.
The built in one seems to have a mind of it's own and gets confused when I have all day appointments/
I have found Smooth Calendar which is as close as I have found so far but it is clunky and slow.
Any suggestions?
i need one too i really miss the mini calendar view of sense ui!
Pure calendar is the best I found.

Have you tried Jorte?
ik like calwidget
i use jorte with no problems. tried it?
Jorte = No 4 x 1 option - Shame as it looks quite nice
Cal Widget = For some reason when in 4x1 mode it chops the last line of text short but besides that, looks OK (not sure if it any better than Smooth Calendar though)
Pure Calendar - Not tried that as it's a paid for app and so far I have resited the urge to pay for stuff on this phone.
there is always warez
Actually I realized there was a transparency option in Cal Widget so now it still chops off the bottom line but doesn't look as bad.
I am going to leave this on my home screen for a few days and see how it plays out.
Try Calendar pad Pro....
Try "android agenda widget"
I warmly recommand "Pure calendar" for the quality of the application and the skills of the dev. He is also working on an API to make scrollable widget, wich is essential for a calendar application.
If you don't want to spend 0.99Euros ( close to 1 dollar) for such a perfect application, you may try "Android agenda widget" that is free and the developer is really responsive and come with a lot of good stuff. I also suggest to donate because that worth.
Try to use gemini calendar. This is realy good calendar replacement and have simple widget.

I had the same criteria and after days of search I discovered the smooth calendar widget
It's 1 by 4, highly customizable (eg what calendars to display etc) and not cluttered with redundant skinning.
I already place two of the widgets for each my calendars...just because it's wicked.
+1 for Pure Calendar
I know you said you'd prefer a free app but this has many customisable features, with widget sizes to accommodate most screen layouts. It also has support for displaying Tasks (Astrid or GTasks).
Personally, this would be in my top 3 essentials apps.
I use Jorte, and it has both 4x1 and 1x4. The 4x1 is called 4x1 Horizontal.

Very nice recommendation, Smooth Calendar Widget totally suit my needs and it feels lightweight.
So is pure calander better then smooth calander? I need a widget that is bigger and shows more events

It's a real pitty that Jorte does not work with Exchange.
Does anyone know of anything similar for exchange? Ideally I am looking for two separate widgets, 1 for an agenda list and another for a month grid view that unlike the HTC Sense Widget actually shows you details of the appointments on the days (like Jorte).
Any suggestions.
love launcher pro plus widget

twitter plugin.

Ive done some looking around and only found a plugin that allows you to update your twitter status.
What I would like is a today screen plugin aka widget like the one you find on android platform.
It allows you to see tweets without fully accessing the app.
I would like to be able to just look at the today screen and see all my
all tweets that come through.
I think maybe spb mobile shell may have this function. but the images are not crisp like the htc sense.
Also how do winmo widgets work? From what I seen they just look like normal app icons am I wrong?
Hi Mate,
I dont think there's anything really like that for Winmo Sense as it doesn't work with widgets like the Android version of Sense does. Instead Sense on Winmo uses tabs, which can be really quickly selected and it does have a useful Twitter tab - you could move this next to your home tab so it's easy to view?
If you don't want to use Sense I know there's a plug in you can get for Windows Titanium Home (disable Sense and enable Windows default in settings tab > menu > All Settings > Home > Items) It's not really all too functional though as it only allows one tweet to be shown on your home screen, they can be scrolled though.
Here's the thread for it :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=511919
Hope it helps!

Seeking Full Screen Calendar Widget

Hi all,
I am really interested in a widget that covers all of a Honeycomb screen. I use Pure Grid Calendar widget on my EVO, but right now there isn't a 8x7 or whatever the full size would be.
If you know of such an app, please post!
If you're looking for such an app, please head over to the Pure Grid Idea that I posted and vote!

Looks similar to Pure Grid Calendar. Do you have any screenshots of this on a Honeycomb home screen? Like I said, I'm looking for a full screen widget.

Not a bad widget. With a name like WIZZ, no wonder I couldn't find it.
While it functions as a large calendar widget, it lacks all of the customization and options that Pure Grid has. Hopefully they'll update with a re-sizable widget soon.
I use Touch Calendar. I added the biggest widget on one of the home screens and long pressed it as if I were going to move it or remove it. Instead of moving it, I long pressed until it flashed and then removed my finger. It remained outlined with a blue line. I was then able to drag this blue line and re-size the widget just like with ADW Launcher for example. So I re-sized to a full screen widget.
Wow. I'll give it a try.
When Spb Shell 3D comes out for tablet it has entire home screen panels for calendar, clock, weather, pictures, etc... It wont show in market yet for tablets. But you can see a demo and buy direct from them at www.spb.com. Once you buy you will be given a download link and a serial number. You can also always get the latest version from their FAQ section.
I have used it on my Evo for 3 months and love it. Its really nice to have similar navigation and features between phone and tablet. Id post screenshots but dont have root access. So far this "experimental" SPB Mobile Shell 3D is better than VLT, Launcher Pro, and ADW all together. Its smooth, lots of packed in widgets and features, and limitless home screen panels that you can easily add/remove/switch order.
You have to use for yourself to see it and know it. =)

[Q] [Help] Elelinux 3.1 (2.3.5) missing widgets?

Hey guys I wanted to make this post in the forum for his rom but I'm so new it won't let me so I thought I'd do it here. I have just today rooted my HTC Hero GSM phone and installed the new v3.1 rom from elelinux. Everything works fine but I'm just missing 2 widgets.
When I was running v2.1-update1 i had it so that one of the home screens had a full screen bookmark widget and another one had a full screen (well I mean so big you couldn't actually place another shortcut or anything on that screen) widget for my text messages. I know that the rom has both txt message app and a bookmarks section in the browser but before I could put both of these on the home screens and when I go to widgets from the home screen those two are missing from the list.
Can anyone help me out how to find it if I am missing it, or can you point me in the right direction?
I think those are sense widgets you refer to. Won't get these on aosp but there are similar alternatives on the market
I have the same issue... and I don't think it's related to Sense apps. I have tried to download, for example, "Laik Agenda widget", that works perfectly in other non-sense android phones, does not appear in the list.
I have also tried with 4 or 5 different calendar widgets, and no luck.
