hey guys
I seem to be facing a problem with my garmin mobile xt...i was using it wednesday without a problem then on wednesday night i installed the 3g comm manager cab and yesterday i found this problem so i unstalled it and reinstalled it just now but the problem's still there...there's a screenshot below to see the problem.... can anyone help? I have the same error, first I had it working fine, then after I changed roms it started doing that..... I dont know, hope someone can advise us...

I got my garmin running again...i tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=404112 but i didnt work so i just hard resetted it...you should try that first, hopefully it works

Hey Guys
for a couple of months I was using tnyynt WM6.1 ROM on my P3600i
But It used to hang randomly and used to reset my device. So i though of going back to my original HTC WM6 Rom
Everything was working fine till I wanted to use my camera. Now when I switch it on it gives me the following error:
"Unable to start Camera. Unable to initialize camera"
Please help me to start my camera
And also if someone can tell me the most stable rom/radio for my PDA in Australia
My current settings are:
ROM Version: 3.00.707.18
Radio Version: 1.46.30.11

Hi
I fixed my problem by taking the battery out and leaving for 5 min and put it back in..
If it doesnt work, then reflash I guess.. that should also work too..

My friend's (NEW) gene just keeps on searching network, but does not get it. Any idea to rectify ??? Thanks in advance. Using WM 6.5.
which ROM are you using? Have you tried restarting the phone, or switching to airplane mode and back by comm manager, or hard resetting your phone? Also check whether the connectivity of the operator is proper at the place where you are testing. If its only one or two signals, this could be missed by some phones while catched by others.

Flashed twice. Rest all OK. No signal bars. Keeps on searching on Auto Mode. Tried three different oprators' sims. Flight mode off. Manual network search yields no result. Any idea ???

Have you tried to flash a different ROM?maybe something like wm 6.1 pro users by sumit or the gene lite by ankit?? if you have'nt tried it try that...hopefully that should clear your problem...

i dont have any more ideas to try..but if the phone is in warranty take it to the service center ...might be a hardware issue...i'm not sure though maybe a few others in here might have some other ideas...
@mehra : Try Sumit's(Aka Krazy) Pro User's ROM, new version V2 R3 for NEW GENE.
Another thing just remove the SD Card while flashing(if any). After flashing reset the ROM 1-2 times. May help.

Dear Mehra,
Please note that changing ROMs will not solve your problem, as none of them conain radio. You will get radio only with the shipped ROMs or ask ramersonw for the radio, a bird told me he's got the latest radio for Gene .

My Diamond is on [v5]PDACornerIllusion 21042, I installed it and all's working great! Still there's one little problem... I can't activate the bluetooth, I don't know why, I click on the activation button and it tells me to wait but then- nothing, bluetooth never activates... :'( I went to the settings so I could activate it there, but still nothing... I tried it all, hard and soft reset several times but still nothing...
Please, tell me what can I do?? Thanks.

Hi just wanna bump this thread...
I'm having this problem too bro...
Have tried the following workarounds/solutions but to no avail:
- Flashed a Stock Rom, works, but flashed back to a custom rom, the problem returns.
- while in custom rom, tried flashing different Radio Roms but still no bluetooth.
- Used MTTY method (See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=540290&highlight=mtty) but still no luck...
- This has been going on for about 2 months or so for me... been trying these methods with different Stock, Custom and Radio Roms. Could manage to get it alive for a short while (3 - 4 soft resets later...) and the darn bluetooth juz wouldn't come ON again...
- Sigh!!!!
Hope somebody out there has a fix or encountered this problem, and explain to me in detail how you remedied the problem. Cos' I'm afraid that I could be doing something wrong (tho i think i explained pretty clearly, did i?) :S

i also have a touch diamond p3700 and do not have any problem with my blue tooth
also using a cooked rom. ormet rom wwe wm6.5 standartversion with cookie home tab .
the album and video call doesnt work there is a fix for it .
find herg62123 htcalbumtp2 for the album and x videotelephony diamond swtos for the videocall .the best rom i found for the htc diamond and every thing works try it out . and it really looks good too works for me

My HTC HD was working perfect before with all these cooked roms.but when i flashed Dutty's HD WM6.5 Leo R2, i found the wifi device didn't work anymore. what i mean is when i try to active wifi, the system gives a waiting sign and then nothing happens.hve tried active from setting menu, still no response at all.
then i flashed it back to other WM6.5 roms,and even WM6.1 roms, the wifi device still doesn't work. it seems the device is dead somehow.
does anyone here know how to solve this error? pls help me out.

I had no such issues when using R2 Leo. What method are you using to flash? Sounds like something possibly wrong with either flash or your device
hum...i use HSPL to flash the rom.
try to contact HTC customer service then, c if they can repair it.
My wife and I each have an HD. Funny enough, she has the same problem with her device - no wifi searching that I can detect. Mine is fine, though. I flashed both of them the same way, Hard, but only one is acting up. Hardware issue? I will test by flashing again to see if that wakes it up.
She is now using Dutty's 3.9 XT and I am using Dutty's Leo R3.
Inactive WiFi - Radio?
Perhaps flashing a diferent radio to that which you have presently installed may help.
I would recommend the Radio 1.16.25.48

i've installed ttnavigator but the integrated gps doesn't catch any satellite. There is someone can helpe me?? can anybody tell me if there's an app. that can reset or restart the itegrated gps?? please help me!!!

an do not update the gps positions

I've been finding I'm having problems this week using TTNavigator (when I didn't have problems before)... I'm wondering if something went wrong with my GPS Update?
I'm using Nav N Go iGO Amigo and Igo8, sorry but I do not know about TT. about once a mount I'm deleting these files, allso you can try to download HTC GPS Tool from http://www.htc.com/www/supportdownloadlist.aspx?p_id=133&act=sd&cat=all
Actually I don't expect anything else from this phone since I have it for about 2 years, probably the system is already modified and the phone is to old for it.
there's a GPS fix on htc site for touch diamond.. it's the only thing that helped me after two weeks of searching... good luck...

Delete xtra.bin in the Temp folder and the Windows folder, and soft reset.
^that is what worked for me
