Hi everyone i had the touch it 2.3 rom in my t-mobile wing. I like it for a while because of the cube But i see no point of it SO I SWITCH back to its original t-mobile rom. I search around for simple roms and i found PDAVIET.. I dont really know much about it but i know its a 3rd party rom.. The only things is that i cannot find one that doesnt have the cube in it. Any suggestion guys!
You could make your own its sorta fun if you follow the guideline. I Tried them all and decided I just wanted a trimmed stock rom. I removed the VoiceCommander and My5Fave and a few other things. Applied a the 4mb pagefile mod and I'm very happy. Don't get me wrong all the popular ROM's are extremely well built and highly functional. But I like my system simple and not cluttered with more than I use. I just backup my favorite cab files as Read Only on my memory card and install them as I need them.

There are two versions (with and without cube) and both are very nice, easy and simple install, nice interface, no big issues to worry about. It is based on ITJE's 2.3 ROM, which in turn I believe is the same a stock ROM, only modified! Good luck.
I need a ROM preferably with latest build but minus the APPS and Manilla...So many ROMS out there but none are truly Light as they have un necessary APPS built in the ROM which uses up unnecessary memory - which are all installable and executable from Storage card - stand alone...and if very critical on main memory - installable by Cab.
That will be truly user configurable and users can install what they want. I keep going back to V6 Panosha's butterfly and Pawel's - due to the cleaniness, memory and stability - sometning similar on latest build I am yet to see.
I have tried Shekar's and really impressed with his latest test build...would love to get rid of many apps and manila - please if Shekhar can oblige...
Please? I tried cooking but nearly bricked my phone and am terrified to try again.
I am sure many would be interested. - if not - I dont mind paying for such a ROM - please anyone?
I would also love to have a naked rom...just the essentials(3d drivers as an example).
Most of the software can be found here at XDA´s in CAB´s...
I cant remember any software i use that i cant hit the "search button" download it and install it here at XDA´s,free ware off-course.
It would be great for all of us that cant cook ROM´s.
Anyone that wants this too,please reply a request so cookers know people are interested and consider if its worth a shot or not.
I finally moved out of Shekhar's after I found an earlier 6.1 Naked ROM - it's an older build but much stable and clean. Am quite satisfied so far. No regrets.

Philosophy
I like clean and fast roms, without too many customisations. I like to be able to install my own tweaks, apps and themes / skins. Therefore i have decided to build, and share my creations.
Features:
Fully based on 2.10, with SYS, XIP and Drivers with full 576mb RAM support
WM 6.5 build 21989 (seems to be just as fast in benchmarks as 21982 and consumes less battery power)
255mb free storage and 315mb RAM available after clean boot
Limited extra applications
All junk applications removed
Some other applications removed (but are easily replaceable either from marketplace or XDA should you want them)
Performance and memory useage enhancements

Regarding 21911, which I believe is a 6.5 ROM, I still prefer 6.5.5...
Consequently I would preffer a WWE version of above-mentioned ROM!

I've been running the feropont's ROM for the last few days. It's really fast and nice-looking. feropont, many thanks for the nice job!
I've only noticed two minor drawbacks which, I hope, will be fixed in future releases. Those are: 1) Exchange server is not working as no root certificates are installed (after some hours of searching for solution I was able to solve this by installing a certificate requred by my OWA); 2) So far I've experienced two random soft-resets.

I'm running it for 10 hours, like it!
As I said before, encountered one random soft-reset so far...
One more thing. There is no Toshiba's sliding panel with arrows in this ROM , which is also a drawback in my opinion as sometimes the arrows might be useful (at least for me).

After doing considerable looking around, and coming up empty-handed, I have created this flashable ZIP install of DSPManager for Sense-based ROMs. I figure that it'll save some time for those of us that can't live without it. =]
Please note, I am not claiming to have made DSPManager, or to have modified it, I just packaged it so it can be easily installed since most (if not all) Sense ROMs I have tried have not come with it. To credit sources, this is the DSPManager.apk from CM6.1 and the libaudioflinger.so from cnunez1987's thread here:

The reason for using the CM6 DSPManager.apk was to get the newer interface.
If you download this, please confirm if it works on the ROM you're using. I will keep an updated list here, if anyone is interested.
