can i install htc touch viva rom on my htc p3350

plz somebody help
i just want to know can i install htc touch viva oficial rom on my htc p3350(love)
and what i hv to do for do this

ok...
Simple answer... NO

You would need to cook your own rom and use drivers from the original p3300. You would probably get a newer 6.1 but drivers and other stuff might not be more newer. Good luck

Installing TouchFlo 3D from WM6.5 on WM6.1

Hi everybody.
I'm using the standard HTC ROM (1.14.406.3) and I would like to update my touchflo 3D to the one present inside the Windows Mobile 6.5 without changing my ROM.
Is there a .cab to do that ?

There is no new TFLO3D in WM 6.5.... I'm guessing you saw a custom ROM where someone cooked in the new TFLO3D from the Rhodium.

But it's for VGA only, i'm not sure what res the HD's screen is but i'm sure someone has (or is trying to) port it to that screen res.
Also, in those screenshots, the Diamond 2 is still running WM 6.1 not WM 6.5.

It's not really done from cabs but have a read in the Rom forum

pick one of the roms (read the thread first) and if you have questions check the stickies at the top first
then try asking in the thread for the rom you choose

HTC Touch Pro2 ROM on a Touch HD/Blackstone?

I have a friend that bought a HTC Touch Pro2 and his version of the touchflo3D is just awesome, connection with facebook and other cool stuff.
So my question, is there anyway tog get the touch Pro2 version on my Touch HD?

have a look the ROm development forum.. there are lots of ROM which you can flash which have the Touch Pro 2 interface... I am currently using Dutty 3.9.. You can try his final 6.1 ROM called Dutty's WM6.1 V4.1 Finale

No, it isn't possible: if you want Manila 2.1 flash an HD ROM with it

HTC Touch 3G WM6.5 -- Need touchflo working version

Hi XDA folks,
I am new to the site and also new to windows mobile.Just bought an HTC touch 3G with windows 6.5 installed.I dont have touch flo in it.Can someone help me in getting working version of touch flo .cab file to install in my mobile.
I have seen some of older posting in XDA through searches,but there seems to be very older versions as its older postings..
I am not sure whats ROM install or manila install..help me on this as well..

The touchflo posted is for ver 6.1 AFAIK, but I think it should work for 6.5. Have a try. It should do no harm. If it does not work, just uninstall.

Yesterday I bought HTC Touch 3G (Jade) with Windows 6.5. While rest all is good, what is sorely missing, is the TouchFlo, which makes navigation super cool and easy.
I see several TouchFlo .cab and ROM files for Windows 6.5. So I have few questions about their compatibility:
Which is safer to install? .cab or ROM? I see that installing .cab is like installing a program, but what about ROM? Does installing ROM would wipe out OS? Will it make the phone unstable?
How do I ensure that ROM will work on my Touch 3G Jade?
I tried installing couple of .cab files (around 5-10 MB) for touchflo but neither worked. I don't know what went wrong.
Last question, is it worth keeping Windows 6.5? Or should I opt for older Windows 6.1 with TouchFlo? (The seller is giving me a choice).

an touch flow 2d is part of the phone system

I too bought HTC Touch 3G T3238+ from ebay.in
IMEI nubmer as mentioned by seller is correct when checked on several sites as well as HTC. However, most of the functions in the device are different from original HTC Touch 3G as shown on their site (HTC)! Seller says its due to upgradation of WM to 6.5 from 6.1...
I have searched on XDA-Developers.com but no skin is available that can go with this device (may be, I couldnt get proper one!)
Could experts help me installing TouchFLO in my device?

to both above t3238 is a cloan and to my knoledge orignal HTC jade does not come with 6.5 preloaded
