i installed arabic localisation through valve added installer...
Now my phone completely in arabic language
I removed that program but still that program is running through arabic language
can any one help me to rectify the problem
i need complete english language in my phone

this is a well known issue on all arabic hd2 not only you inistalle the latest arabizer to replace the original i will give you a link http://www.mobile4arab.com/vb/showthread.php?t=721383 and then choose english with arabic enabled and soft reset ,all things will be fine

Hi,
It just happened to my HD2 as well, it has turned to arabic and the worst thing is its only showing SIM contacts (phone contacts not visible).
Can anyone pls guide me to change it back to english and also not loosing any data, especially the contacts which are of paramount importance

Hi 2 all xda devs,
If any1 can just advice me, is it possible to retrieve the contacts as mentioned above? This will help me to decide to go for a factory reset or not...

Thanks - when you say font you mean it enables it to read Hebrew but no writing? If so that should be enough for me.

me too i need a program that allows me to write in hebrew, I too used the hebrew lite, and dam I to do a hard reset, since it completely crashed my hd too
I found one through wince.co.il that a member here recommended - apparently works but i think you cant get it put on remotely....am working on it and will let you know how i go....
I put this file on HD Touch - it's work, but in wrong direction. How I can fix it ?

Two weeks ago I bought the licence and installed the EYRON HEBREW; it works OK; there is a EYRON Keyboard, and alternate English Hebrew. It's possible to use Hebrew interface or maintain the English one.

i bought a Tattoo here in Ireland for my nephew that lives in italy. he wants to have italian as a primary language on the phone.
I read that I can download the official WWE rom and simply flash that to get the missing languages.
Has anyone tried by any chance? Risk of bricking the phone? Problems with SPL or radio versions?
Just want to make sure im not sending him a dud for xmas

I'd say flash the WWE rom from the android development site. It comes with a big list of languages (Including Italian ).
I have updated the rom now i can use greek language but in sms composing the T9 isn't availble for greek.
Could anyone help please?
The strange part is that it is availble when i write text in the internet browser

- where did you get the rom? i found a version but is in zip format and you need to cid unlock the phone first with the goldcard. im not too keen on that.
i dont understand how could I install the zip other than renaming to update.zip and reboot to recovery?? could someone please enlighten me?

i tried to download the arabic language support from htc website but it says incompatible with your device
i tried to download other different Arabic supports but i couldn't install any of them

i downloaded your file and extracted to a new folder on the desktop of the pc. once extracted, i saved that new folder to my htchd2 tmobile leo. however, when i try to run the file, i only can find a setup.xml icon. can you explain please what needs to be done. thanks!!!

I don't recommended that you use the one attached above ..
use mine instead ..
Install the EzInput Keyboard after you install the Arabic ..
You also have to install PD SMS Fix
this fixes the reversed arabic msgs

Yes, my friend, you can, download the Samsung keyboard program and remove the Arabic numbers and add the English numbers instead of them, the program name is keyboard café from good lock
