Videos not working on my HTC HD2

Dear Friends,
I am new to the site, I am really struck here i got my HTC Hd2 just 2 days back and now there is a problem my videos are not playing and if i try to open the file in media player it gives this error ''The source filter for this file could not be loaded.'' please help me what should I do?????
thanks
i am facing the same problem i cant play the videos posted by redah
and i cant stream video from opera halp
Same here
I had the same problem. I couldn't play videos on the phone - if I recorded one using the camera, it woldn't play, and if I tried to play one from the storage card I got the same message as mentioned above.
The problem was my YouTube app. It's on T-Mobile - when I bought it, they installed a YouTube app (which isn't included on T-Mobile phones). I think it's called 'MyLostBlog YouTube App' or something. Once I uninstalled that it started working again.

Can't watch youtube in browser on 3G (w firmware 2.03.405.3 )

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
disconnect wifi and browse to the mobile youtube site to play any video.
the htc flash player always reports back "cannot play video" "this video is no longer available. please try another video"
however it works when viewing through the youtube app OR when connected on WIFI.

[Q] "There was a problem while playing" YouTube issue

Is anyone else constantly getting the "there was a problem while playing" error when viewing videos in the YouTube app?

Click to collapse
yeah, only happens with HQ, but i posted a bug report with google. the app is also not caching very much of the videos so it has problems on that front. i have a super fast internet connection too.
yes I get this every time. Once I click retry it doesn't do it again until I play a differ ant video.
When I had my nexus one and I downloaded the new YouTube app it kept doing it so I had to uninstall the update. It wasn't until I got my nexus s the YouTube app worked perfect with the gingerbread update
A quick work around is to use jetvd app from market to stream 720p youtube videos... but eah problem is there and its super annoying. Happens almost every time u pause.
It also reverts to 480p video, and nothing u can do will revert it back to 720p. U have to reload the video. Super annoying
Yeah both wifi and 3g I get the error. Instlling what looks to be an older youtube from the market lets me play HD no problem... just not as interesting looking.

If YT connection errors keep occuring the try an offline downloader.
I use the one from tubex.me Downloads flv video faster than a Flash player would.
If using a WiFi connection, switch to 3G connection and it'll work. If you are using 3G connection and it comes up, just keep retaping and it'll work. If all else fails, go to m.youtube.com and search for the video. IF it's able to be played on mobile you will be able to tap on the video and play it. Before playing it, the UI will prompt you to choose an application to open. Rather than choosing youtube, choos HTC flash player. It'll work like a charm
