I was searching google for touch flo 3D,
and i saw that they actualy have touchflo 3D for the polaris.
Why havn't i seen this in any rom's i mean it's slow but it is usable.
We also have a lot of talanted cooks here who probably can improve the performance. This is the link to the site where i found the TouchFlo 3D cab

Ok guys i've been watching youtube videos for the HTC touch Diamond and the interface for that phone looks MUCH more promising than the interface of my HTC touch cruise... don't get me wrong I love my phone but for 720 bucks I think I could have gotten something more worth while..... Do you guys think it's possible to use the HTC Touch Diamond interface on the touch cruise??
I suggest you look at the current "Diamond" ROMS that are available that have been ported for the Polaris in this forum. obviously the HTC Diamond does have a faster Graphics chipset so you cannot compare speed tests.
The Diamond roms are, imo, not the Diamond interface which the topicstarter looks for. It just has an Diamond skin on WM6.1.
if anyone has an original Diamond ROM ported for the Polaris, i would certainly donate to that guy/woman....
What desiroxta is probably looking for is the tflo 3d... is not the only one wanting it. So far there is only the vga version. Polaris is qvga. So we will have to wait.
Not just wait for the qVGA resources but graphics acceleration as well as it relies on it. There are Manila (its codename) builds around, even qVGA ones and I think I'm safe to say, they dont work. 0.5-2fps isnt exactly what I'd describe as "working" in my vocabulary.

nope, thats what ppl try to tell you..
some applications can be used, but interface, as you describe it, is not working.
its the main OS from MS that is ported, not the diamond interface

actually with the latest 3d drivers and a well modded touchflo3d it is quite usable just a few yo many bugs at the moment but i have no doubt that when itje m-amine and syrius decide to work with it it will be awesome.

Amen to your words
lol its not usable. Freezes, sluggishness. Its nice to play with but comon people, its not for day to day use.
Not to mention those themes are incompatible. VGA themes for a a QVGA Touchflo..hmm...
Another month and you should see some themes and a decent Touchflo3D
EDIT: The clock for Manila 2D is here

Why would it be slow though? Doesnt the xperia have the same hardware as the Diamond?
Maybe the graphics drivers arent fully utilized!!
Can anyone try using the drivers from the Diamond in the Xperia? .. maybe the performance will increase.
Maybe it would even make the panels react faster!
thats weird since the hardware in the xperia is better then both the raphael and diamond. So the xperia should run touchflo 3d with ease.
do you mean that xperia doesn't have at all 3d drivers like touch dual?!?!
I hope that drivers could be ported from touchHD...
if that were true how would the x1 be able to even run the panels. sorry if i offend anybody but cut out the crap talk x1 can handle the touchflo 3d with ease if ported right.
the original poster was asking about throttle launcher not tf3d.
tl runs fine in realvga on my athena, so the hardware of the xperia should cope easily, but theres no settings for wvga as of yet, the author has promised a wqvga version soon which will scale up, but you can also do the xml yourself
thanks for the answer but maybe its better to wait for the touch hd and rip that touchflo since its the same size?

I agree, tflo3d rulez
Hi everyone,
i'm new and not expert at all on how to cook a rom or anything like that, the only thing i can do is to flash
Since i'm interested in the different developements of the ROMs for polaris, do you think there will be the possibility of having a ROM containing the touchflo 3D, like the diamond, which will work well and be stable on polaris in the recent future?
Would be really really nice... i saw that the development is at a good stage... only is in VGA resolution...
HI,
is there a version for QVGA and runs smooth the only and big problem is that you can't turnOff the phone if TF3D is running

hi, is it the one from ITJE? If it's that i've already tried it, but it is still quite buggy and not very smooth (i think).
Can touchflo 3d be installed like for example manila 2d?
thanks

in my opinion, that rom is good just to have a feeling of what TF3D feels like on a polaris... it seems to be a really nice thing...
so maybe i gave you an idea for your next rom... if you would like to develop it, i would be very grateful!! i really like the manila 2d interface, but of course not as much as the TF3D, which is more modern and intuitive.
I have htc touch cruise 09 with the manila 2D.
Can I Install manila 3D in my phone????
If I Can plz giv me the link for dawnload .
thank you so match
Manila 3D needs a 3D graphic-chip like in "Touch HD". The Iolite hasn´t it. So M3D from 3D-Devices will not work. Maybe some 3rd Party-apps will be coming soon with look´n feel like M3D, for instance SPB MobileShell 4 or PointUI 3? Or a software, that emulates the 3D-chip?
Wait for a bugfree Mobile7, it´s more important like M3D
Greetings!
Well, I am little confused now. I read thread OpenGL ES Test and some guy with Jade posted, that 3D test app works on his device. Doesn't Jade have same chipset (MSM7225) without dedicated graphic-chip as Iolite? Therefore there are two options, first is, that guy with Jade doesn't tell truth, second is, that 3D apps, like TF3D, should work on MSM7225, even without dedicated graphic-chip.
Btw. I don't think, we really need TF3D on Iolite. TF2D works pretty good and fast and with FingerSuite even better.

What a great tip!
FingerSuite works fine on Iolite! (without OpenGL!)
Download and user instructions - HERE!
Thanks for this tip!
Yes works perfect, I use it from the first day I bought this device, it's perfect.
And also pointui home 2 works flawlessly on lolite. I never used manila after that.
