Certificate error (SBP Keyboard) and a mail question - HD2 General

When I try to install SBP Keyboard I get a certificate error wich says that it's not trusted. Why? Can this be fixed? SPB works perfectly to install, but I don't have it installed now. Maybe you need to have Shell installed if the installation of the keyboard shall work?
Also, is there a way in settings to make the phone retrieve entire mails, not just the subject? I use gmail.

Something calling prog is error - pic inside...

Installed the app, then uninstalled it. Gave some error about uninstalling it so I deleted the folder from my storage card...
How can I get rid of whatever it is trying to run this program?
I took a screen shot of it using Pocket Controller..
Dude mask ur number else u'll be bombarded with calls.... check the path which is mentioned in the error. did u install newsbreak or is it the first PPC Spyware ????
I did install it and it freaked out on me, so I uninstalled it thru activesync...I'm gonna try to reinstall it then uninstall again.
BTW...go ahead and call...that's the main # for the police station here...lol..
There...masked the phone # JIC...
I like your sig!
Use a program like sktools or memmaid, check your notification queue and delete all references. NewsBreak likes to update itself whenever you make an activesync connection. Did you remove the app using the "official" uninstaller, or just delete the files?
Anyhoo, that should sort you out.

Thanx man..threw MemMaid on there and got rid of it (I hope forever)...pretty funny...it was too hard to see cause there were like 400 error windows in front of memmaid...lol..
thanx again.

How can I remove problem software ?

I downloaded and installed a trial copy of Pocketwinc by Cirond Software from a Handango store.
The program installed normally, and ran on my Advantage. However, that software cannot see my WiFi adapter. When I run the program, I get the error message "Unable to Locate Adapter."
So, I tried to unistall the software using ActiveSync. When I tell Activesync to unistall Pocketwinc, I get the message on Advantage "You should restart to complete removal of Pocketwinc." I tell it "OK," and my Advantage re-starts.
However, Pocketwinc does not uninstall. When I go to "Remove Programs" on my Advantage, and select Pocketwinc to be removed, I get that same "You should restart,,," message. After restarting, Pocketwinc is still on my Advantage.
I tried to contact Cirond's support. However, their website seems to be down.
Can anyone help?
TIA

Problems with sipchange on my X1

Hello,
I have a problem with sipchange. I installed it to set the Touchpad as standard keyboard. The install was ok, I can start the prog, but when I reboot my X1, he cannot start SIPCHANGE because of a problem with the security of an certificate. Now I want to uninstall sipchange but it is not in the list where I can uninstall programs. What can I do?
Greetings
Pluppi
Thats a tough one.... Umm did you try reinstall SIPCHANGE?
Hello,
I donĀ“t know how to reinstall
Just throw the cab back on ur phone and run it from file explorer. Most likely it will say it needs to uninstall the previous version and even it fails to do so it fix what ever caused the problem.
If I do that, I get a message that it can not be erased, but I can install it if I want. If I do that and try it a next time, I recieve the same message
Do a hard reset, that will get rid of it.

Mail Program keeps quitting.

Hi community! i have a little problem. since a few hours i am not able to open my drafts-folder anymore. if i choose folder->drafts my mail programm quits with following errormessage:
"The application Mail (process com.htc.android.mail) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
-- -so i was searching for a fix for this problem. one possible solution was to delete all data over application-manager (settings->manage applications->All->Mail->Clear Data).
it worked only as long as i saved another message in draftsfolder.
-- i also tried to use ROM Manager's option to "Fix Permissions". that worked a few times for other problem, but not this time.
-- i was using DL.DesireZ.v3.3.final.nand by dandiest and yesterday i flashed to new version 3.5. i thought my problem was gone, but its still there..
i dont know why this is happen even if i flashed a new version..
thanks for any suggestions
greetings
EDIT: excess message database over root:
Ok, i did it. i've found a *.db file in rootsystem. /data/data/com.htc.android.mail/databases/mail.db
in this file is all you need. accounts, messages, settings etc.
with an explorer which is able to access root its possible to view and edit this file. i've got my message back (at least the content), now i will try to look what keeps my mailprogramm quitting.

How to deinstall HTC Skins?
i now know why this error happens to me. i now started gparted and formated my sdcard (fat and ext4) and flashed again< the error was gone. haha
so i started to set up my phone and reinstalled my applications. to be sure i tested every time i installed an application my drafts folder.
after install of a HTC Sense Skin called "rEVOlution" from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801928 my mail programm brings the same error as before when i want to access drafts:
"The application Mail (process com.htc.android.mail) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
so for me this skin causing this error. i know have to know how to deinstall it?
edit: yes thats it. if i change back to default htc skin i am able to access drafts... weird.
solved
to remove the skin and get rid of this error (in this case) you have to delete following files and folder:
/data/data/com.htc.skin.revolution
/data/app/com.htc.skin.revolution-1.apk
then restart. done.

Widget Uninstalled but not forgotten

Hello,
I've been trying to create a widget, and i've been using my phone to do the testing.
For some reason the phone keeps rembering an old version of the widget.
I uninstall the widget every time i re-deploy it but it still remembers the old one.
the only way i've found to get it to work is to change the package name and then install it and then it works fine.
Anybody else come across this issue ? or dose any body know how to stop this from happening ?

Don't know if this if any help but worth trying:
I've had problems like yours when I had a multiuser setup. Uninstalling my developped app that was installed signed with the debug keystore didn't really uninstall: Playstore couldn't install the officially signed variant that was on the playstore, even though I unstalled the test app.
The only way to properly uninstall the test-app and allow the playstore to install the official one was:
Code:
adb uninstall my.package.name
. Uninstalling from the phones settings-apps-uninstall appearently was not a full uninstall
Yes, @Zatta is right. It is no full install. However, you can do that from the settings app:
Use the first user you have created when you got your phone. Then open the settings of the app. In the action bar there should be an icon. If you click it, there should be an option to uninstall it for all users.

any suggests are welcome
Did you try uninstalling with adb? Do you van any reminants in /data/data?
is your app still present in the PackageManager?:
Code:
PackageManager mPm;
List apps = mPm.getInstalledApplications(PackageManager.GET_UNINSTALLED_PACKAGES | PackageManager.GET_DISABLED_COMPONENTS);
If you are rooted, there will also be the method to uninstall it in an adb shell or in Terminal emulator:
Code:
su
pm uninstall <package>
