Try selecting it and exit the menu, then going back into the menu and un-selecting it again.

Turn off "click" sound

Just got a HTC TyTn and am working my way through it . Previous Treo 650 owner.
First question: How do I turn off what I define as the "mouse click" sound?
Secondly, where can I edit what gets displayed on my Today screen?
Thanks!

for first Q: start > settings > personal > sounds & notifications > remove the tick mark on screen taps
for second Q: start > settings > personal > today > items > remove tick marks on items you do not want to be displayed
hope this helps.

Regarding screen taps - it's already unticked! Still getting clicks when I click on the start menu (etc).
Re: the Today screen, thank you.
For that:
start > settings > personal > sounds & notifications > remove the tick mark on Events.
You might lose other sounds with this also but not things like reminders etc...
Gav.

How to disable key tones?

I want to disable key tones when dialing in normal mode (not silent or vibrating)
is there a way to do it?
Nobody got any idea?
Patience is a virtue, people are not hung to their keyboard...
Settings tab -> more -> Personal -> Phone -> keypad: off

Credits to Fetz Braun for this fix
download Audacity 1.3 beta (search in google plz), install it.
Open your ringtone in audacity, then "file" > "metadata editor" > "add.. then type ANDROID_LOOP in the first field, and true in the second field.
Then "file" > "export" > than save file as ogg-orbit file.
Transfer it to the SD CARD.
Enjoy!

If you want vibration for sms you must enable it first...
go to : messaging > settings > notification settings > vibrate > always

I found it Messaging > Settings > Notification Settings> Vibrate settings.
So there are at least 2 places when you can change it.
