Google gesture not found in market - Nexus One General

Hi
Is there a way to find application on the markets that not open in europa (denmark). I try to find the google gesture, but the market says :
There is no matches in android markets for the search: pname.com.google.android.apps.gesturesearch
I do not think this is a payed applications or am I wrong
I have a google Nexus one (not rooted).

It's a free app, however it's currently only available to the US Market. I ripped the APK and posted it here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=641602

now must be avaible

Is it available to all now? i just used the market enabler -> T-Mobile, and it was there.

I'm in Ireland and I found it in the Marketplace. I installed it but the only app I can see the little hand in to actually use it is Dolphin Browser. Are other people able to use it in all apps?

Er, no. I got it fine in the UK.
Try the barcode method: http://gesturesearch.googlelabs.com/download.html

it can be found if you use market enabler and tweak to t-mobile US
but it doesn't show up if you search for "Google" or "Google Gesture"
you simply have to search for "Gesture Search"

I found it
I found it, but it was about 1 dag later that the US markets......WHY google Please open the markets for ALL

I can "google checkout" but I don't see any paid app

Hello,
I live in NewCaledonia witch is a French territory. Google Checkout recognize me as it and allows me to add my credit card.
When I go to the market, I don't see paid apps. Anyway to contact google about that?
Has anyone tried MarketEnablerMarketEnabler?
Regards
Yeah Market enabler works fine. You need to root your phone to use it tho.

Cannot purchase/upgrade applications through the Market

Hi,
I Cannot purchase/upgrade applications through the Market.
I have no problem downloading & installing apps however when I want to purchase/upgrade from trial to full, I am getting message like this:
No search results.
There are no matches in Android Market for the search:
pname:com.vscorp.android.alphamixr
This happened to me with all apps that I wanted to purchase their full version.
Can someone assist?
Thanks
Hi,
You're probably not in a Google supported region..
Try searching the forums for market enabler app. You do have to root the phone to be able to use the app, but if you really want to purchase apps from Android market, then that's probably the only thing to do until Google starts supporting your region.
Other option is to start using some optional app providers such as SlideMe.org's SAM application (http://slideme.org/).
Not even sure if there are others...

Android Market Questions

Hi, I have two questions. 1) When I access the market I only see the free apps. How do I access the paid apps? 2) I used a different app (I forget the name) to directly access the top paid apps, but when I try to buy anything I get a message saying that my Google acccount has problems. I have double checked all the account details, and everything is correct Any ideas? Thanks.
Please check that you set up your google account on your phone properly, and then take a look at the market ( with the original app)... there are free and there are paid apps listed there, you can list them as "most popular" or "most recent"..
The market always worked fine for me, I have to admit that I did not buy any app from the market until now...

Thanks for your reply. I've set up my Gmail account for receiving Gmail using the Gmail app. Is this all I need to do, or are there additional settings I've missed? Thanks.
You can't access paid apps probably because Market is not available in your country. However, if you want to you can always use Market Enabler which is made available at http://code.google.com/p/market-enabler/

I think you're probably right, as I'm based in Russia. I'm new to the Android platform, would you mind telling me how I install Market Enabler? Thanks again.
Or us unfortunate souls who do not want to root our beloved Heros will just have to wait for Android 1.6 (don't forget HTC has to make their Sense UI work for it too)...

[FIX] Access copy protected and paid apps in Android market.

After long search on the internet and lots of experiments i found this version of android market enabler that worked
you just install the app then select an operator to fake (i selected T-mobile US)
and it worked like charm: all apps like all google software maps, skype, tapatalk worldmate.....etc all that is missing on rooted phones and outside US
of course the credit is not mine but for he who ever thought and created this program....I just found it and reposted it
if someone knows a better or newer version please post it
Best of Luck
I thought it can be searched from Market there?
Downloaded the one at the market, But can not figure out how to configure it!!
PLEASE Help
edit: SOLVED

[Q] Latest Youtube apk

Hello,
For some strange reason, I can't find the Youtube application on the market, whichever ROM I try. I used to get it fine on my HTC Magic but nothing on my HTC HD2.
I can't find Vocal Search either but that one can be found in CM's gapps.zip. No Youtube in that pack unfortunately...
So is there an address or thread that keeps an up-to-date .apk of the Youtube app ?
Thank you very much !
Install market enabler. Then launch market enabler, go to setting list, long press either us t-mobile or us-verizon. A menu will appear, press fake this provider now.
Now you'll be able to find the youtube app on market.
I know about that but I don't really want to install an app to get another app. I wouldn't use market enabler for anything else...
Check your PM.

If you're from Belgium and go to the android market website on your computer, you'll see you won't be able to install youtube.apk because it's not allowed in our country. Market enabler is an old well-known solution, but I recall Google having removed the separation between market-regio's so Market enabler was no longer required. So why suddenly is there some country-based restrictions again on some apps :/ Even youtube.. I mean I can easily open a brower on my computer in Belgium and just access youtube so I don't understand why it would be forbidden to open it from a smartphone.
