SPV M600 and Vodafone MMS settings
Hello
I'm going crazy trying to get MMS to work but everything I've tried has failed so far.
I know GPRS is working because I can setup a GPRS connection that I can happily use to browse the internet using pocket IE and also send and receive emails from several POP accounts I've setup in the email app. Also, the Vodafone contract SIM I have came straight out of a Nokia N70 that had no problem sending and receiving picture messages and is actually 3G enabled.
I've followed just about every forum 'try this' instruction I've found but nothing. Calling Vodafone customer service was about as much use as a chocolate teacup as they wanted me to give them a make and model so they could send me a service message but for obvious reasons, the Orange SPV M600 was not one of them. How did you get anything useful out of them?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Now I successfuly got WM6 running I want to properly sort out my Himi to be about to MMS , browse and finally email.
I have seen so much conflicting info and setting advice I am truely lost.
I am presently on o2 payandgo and the sim definately was enabled for MMS in my old K700i phone.
Can someone talk me through whatever various new connections I must make to get the above working on o2.
I heard that maybe o2 doesn't allow GPRS browsing/email on pay&go sims. Can anyone comment ?
If anybody in the UK has got a Himi or similar running 100% with any other UK pay and go provider EG Voda, Orange , T-Mobile , Virgin , even Tesco then I
'd like to hear about it and share your setting details.
Thanks
have just bought a NIKI which was originally locked to Orange. Have had it unlocked and using my Vodafone sim.
I am totally new to this and desperate to get it back on the net and to get MMS working

Hello all,
I have recently upgraded my Windows Mobile device to a Softbank X01HT which is the equivalent of a Dopod 838 Pro i think. Anyway ringing up my service provider which is Vodafone Australia is like trying to extract teeth !
This is my problem....
All i want to do is to be able to surf the web when im not within a Wifi Zone and be able to receive MMS messages. Simple !
I have made 3 calls to Vodafone Australia and they have walked me through several steps but im still yet to get these two features to work.
Can anyone help?
ok ive managed to get MMS working but still not able to use the internet, i.e. dialup and access websites when im not within wifi range.
c'mon aussie members. doesnt anyone know how to do this ?
I just buyed Touch Pro / Raphael from vodafone without branding (their hotline told me) and I need to use it with my t-mobile sim card until company contract would switched to vodafone.
I can do phone calls and also got internet configuration sms from t-mobile with "correct" settings. I also can receive emails from a pop3 account,
but I am not able to start eighter internet explorer or opera to get internet access.
When I use a prepaid vodafone sim card, opera will run, of course I changed back to vodafone settings.
My problem is that I need support, because I am on a business trip in dubai and need to have internet access with my phone.
ROM 1.90.162.5 Ger

Radio 1.02.25.19
Protocol 52.33.25.174
Many thanks in advance!!
Many thanks for your support! I am in trouble and nobody seems able or willing to help.
I have only internet access when i go in the hotel lobby and ask someone to share his computer...
i dont really understand what you want..
you want to use internet on your phone with your vodafone sim.
But its not connecting or....................... ??????
Raphael is vodafone branded or not, I do not exactly know.
I have a t-mobile sim card.
phonecalls and pop3 download of emails working, therefore I think it is not sim locked, but even with the correct internet profile from t-mobile installed, either opera nor explorer get internet access.
Do I need to supercid the phone?
Thans for your reply!!
Hmm.. i have to say that i dont have the answere.
but maybe post this also in the Raphael part of the forum.
maybe they know.
Under HTC Touch Elf, I had to do this :
in start menu : "settings"
"connections" tab
"connection setup" icon
then select my country and operator.
I'm not sure it'll work with a Raphael one... but anyway, try it!
