Search the forum. It has been discussed plenty.
The Extended ROM is a special part of the ROM, that is used of the providers to add their own and additonal files, that have to be installed on the first use of this device. It only have Programs and Reg-Settings in it. Afetr the installtion of this programs, the Memory Part of the extended ROM is useless for the device. You can't access the extended ROM and you can not save data on this memory....
Therefore the bigStorage hack is used to free this memory-part.

So... I'm Italian and I buoght my Jam with std Italian ROM.
I like to have Engl leanguage on all my devices so I hack the Country ID and I installed the WWE ROM.
It works fine but I lost some of Italian configuration and some applications (e.g. eTrust antivirus)...
I think that these applications are contained on Italian Extended ROM... is it right?
If is it right... can I install the Italian extended ROM in the WWE ROM?
Or... can I extract the eTRust antivirus and install it on my WWE ROM?
Yes, you should be able to install the programs of the italian extended ROM on the WWE ROM. Since most of the tools are os independet it should be no big problem.
The QtekS100_ITA_1.03.151 ExtRom is on the FTP. If your version was newer or anything else, than you have to get the files by yourself.....

Is the pre-installed TomTom 6 installed in the P3300 ROM itself or is it on a SD-card when you buy the "telephone" together with the basic TomTom?

It is in ROM and Maps are on DVD and can be installed on the SD-card

The install program is not in ROM but in EXT_ROM, and once installed the exe file is in \program files.

Can I install this rom?

But don't forget that you will loose all your saved personal data and your installed programs.

I bought used XDA Orbit, and he has already installed WM6 Touch Flo.
What will be my next step, do I need only to install Tom-Oops-Black-v1.0-WWE?
I suppose that my XDA Orbit 02 is already unlocked
First you need to know what do you want to do...
Trying to explain to you, touch flo is just like a program installed with flo functions.
If you flash a new ROM, you must see if it has or not touch flo, wich programs it has standardly, etc.
Tom-Oops-Black-v1.0-WWE is not a program that you install... It's a ROM that you flash...
Explaining to you in another way...
Is like... You now have XP on your desktop and you want to have Vista. In the desktop case you have to install vista.
In the PDA case you have to flash a new ROM.

I have few problems with my O2 XDA Orbit
At least once a day I am unreachable. On Home Screen everything is normal, but people cannot reach me.

So RUN IT before flash the new ROM!!
Since you're going from one cooked ROM to another, flash the new ROM twice to make sure everything goes ok.
You don't need to format your SD card. BUT, if you have programs installed on it, they problably will not work.

I successfully installed Black Ops ROM.
First I run USPL and then I installed new ROM.
Everything is OK for now.
If you have more problems with network or if your battery is draining more than usual, try to upgrade your Radio ROM.
You will not loose any data upgrading your Radio ROM and can give you better reception and less battery drain.

Can you please tell me which Radio ROM would you recommend?
Now I have installed 3.08.90
I recomend you to try 3.21.90. For me and for most of users is the best choice.
This doesn't mean that is the best for you, but just flash it and see if is good for you.

Hi guys months ago my uncle gave me a Qtek S110 but it has installed WM2003, I was browsing through cotulla's website and I found a lot of ROMs
My questions are...
1-Which rom should i install?
2-Can i restore my device to the configuration that i had before?
3-Will my device run WM6.5 apps?
4-How can i improve touch sensibility?

the new rom will make your screen sensitivity better
before you install the new rom you must be sure that your radio is 1.12
if it isn't you must install it first
and yes you can return back to your originall rom

Just got me an HTC Hd mini and I am really frustrated with the lack of functionality (compared to WM 6.1) in both HTC Sense & SPB Pocket Pc modes (not together, of course).
Am raring to try some cooked Roms, but with the phone being so new, I would rather have the ship Rom handy, just in case.
I can't seem to find a backup of this Rom version 1.36.721.3 (94538) WWE anywhere, which is really strange
Would it be possible for someone to upload for me on rapidshare/megaupload please? Or point me to where I can find it?

Any other ideas? Or am I looking at the wrong place?

Found the rom, it's HK.
