There is any app to quick acces to dial connections?
I must to: start, settings, connections, connections, manage existing connections and then select it, tap/hold and connect!

If you get a today screen launcher, you can just make a shortcut to it. Spb pocket plus comes with a link to it as a default
I know SPB and use it, but only can go to: start, settings, connections, connections
then I must tap: manage existing connections and then select it, tap/hold and connect!
I think there is a app that can manage connections!

i already searched the whole forum and google, but i didnt find a way to make a shortcut to connect VPN when i m connected to the internet or WLAN, perhaps someone got some mortscript code or a working "shortcut code" for me i would be very thankful because i always have to go through settings and so on,..
did you use "wifi profiles"
you can create a profile that has the settings of the vpn connection and activate the profile with a shortcut
On my Diamond, I had a handy little application called NoData which deactivated data connections so that I didn't get charged for using mobile internet by mistake.
Is there any way to do the same thing on the HD2?

I'm off abroad in a couple of weeks and I am already having nightmares about the bill I may have when I return if I can't find a way to deactivate the data!

oh, are you sure it works on the HD2?
nodata works fine but i use bsb tweaks to disable data connections manually before crossing the border so i can enable it just in case
Since I have no data plan with my carrier i disable connections not referring to WIFI alltogether, I just go to Settings, connections, menu, connections, advanced, select network, and put "work network" (or something, I have it in italian) to both.

there is a vey simple way to deactivate the data connection: long press the on/off key and you will get a little menu: one of the menu items is deactivate data connection. Press it and it's done.

That terminates it, but it doesn't stop it coming back on when an app tries to use it.
Is there a reason that no-one has suggested airplane mode?

This is what i want to know. How can we auto disconnect data connection after certain period of time. For example if i set up my device to update weather every hour using EDGE, it wont disconnect automatically but i want it to auto disconnect once the weather is updated regardless of i notice it or not. How do we achieve that?

I've disabled my data connection using the HTC mehtod but now when I've connected to wifi, I keep on getting an error message say page cannot be displayed and there is a problem with my connection?
Can someone please tell me if I've done something wrong? and if this is suppose to happen?

you don't need anything. just read the manual
You could use the application "Data Controller", i have it installed cause this annoyed me aswell.
Data controller allows you to shut down any non-wifi signal your phone is currently transmitting (like the data link & wap etc.)

Thank you for the hint, but searching for it I found a new 'version' updated to work with Manila Windows Phone, called Manila Dial-up Enabler/Disabler.
Now what I do need, it is to find a way to use facebook through wifi/wlan ..

Prevent your phone from using the data connection when you want to ensure that it will never connect to the Internet via GPRS/3G.
On the Home screen, slide to the Settings tab and then tap Wireless controls.
1-Tap Menu > Connections and then tap Add a new modem connection.
2-Enter Offline as the name of the connection.
3-In the Select a modem list, select Cellular Line (GPRS), and then tap Next.
4-Enter Offline as the access point and then tap Next.
5-Tap Finish.
6-Tap Manage existing connections and then select Offline.
7-Press BACK and then tap Done.
Restoring the data connection:
1-On the Home screen, slide to the Settings tab and then tap Wireless controls.
2-Tap Menu > Connections and then tap Manage existing connections.
3-Tap the name of your mobile operator's data connection.
4-Press BACK and then tap Done.

This guide teaches you to reverse tether your Android phone via WiFi. That is, it allows you to use your Ethernet connection of PC on your Android phone. It is useful for those who do not have WiFi routers and data connection. So if you have unlimited data plan for your computer, why not share the connection with your phone?
I am not the developer of the files supplied
Requirements:-
1.Rooted Phone
2.Wifi enabled Laptop or PC
3.Root explorer or any other application which gives system access
4.File in the attachement
Procedure :-
Phone:
Download Wpa_supplicant.zip and extract "wpa_supplicant" from it, save it on your SD card.
Open Root Explorer, and grant it superuser access when asked for.
Navigate to system -> bin and long press on wpa_supplicant; Select copy, and paste the file into any folder on your SD card.
Now navigate to the file you downloaded, copy it in same way, and paste it back to system -> bin. Note, you might need to mount the system as R/W instead of R/O by pressing a button on the top just before pasting the file.
Reboot.
▬▬Ubuntu (Must work for other Linux Distros too)▬▬:
Open Network Connections
Goto Wireless tab, select add, and set the following:
SSID:
Mode: Ad hoc
Leave other things unchanged, and go to Ipv4 settings tab
Set method to Shared to other computers
Go to Wireless security tab and set Security to WEP 40/128 bit key and set key to a numeric password (or hexadecimal one).
Check the connect automatically box on top of the tabs and press Save.
Your Android phone must now detect this network, and you can establish the connection by using your security key.

Download and Install Connectify from www . connectify.me/download-lite/
Start Connectify Hotspot by giving a name and password to your hotspot and selecting the Ethernet connection to share. Make sure the security type is WEP or Open.
Disable your firewall (Simply adding it to exceptions doesn't work for AVG at least)
Now your phone should be able to see the hotspot and establish the connection using the password set.
Known Issues :
1.Random disconnections (Very less frequency)
2.Disconnections due to screen lock / sleep on laptop
3.For me Security mode does not works

In network settingfind option to create new network. Create an ad-hoc network.
In start menu search for "network connection".
In network connections, highlight both the network you just created and the network that your internet comes from.
Right click and select bridge networks.
Shouldn't require doing anything to your phone or even being rooted. As I said I havn't tested this but I don't see why it would not work.

For USB tethering there are many third party application in play store.
And I have seen in many devices that after creating ad-hoc network also ... the device doesn't gets connected to internet.
