Have you seen what the 3gs is going for on ebay? Why trouble yourself with a trade when you can sale your iphone and purchase a new N1?

Is it possible to Unlock a Rooted G1 and if so, how? I have a rooted G1 and I want to Unlock it and sell it to one of my friends so that I could buy the iPhone 3G. Also, does anybody know how much G1's go for? I don't want to rip him off but I don't want to get ripped back. I'm thinking $300-$400. The current G1 has a few scratches on it from being dropped but runs PERFECTLY and is all up-to-date... it even has CyanogenMOD 4.1.11.1 soo? Thanks...

i say sell it for double so that way when you buy the iphone, and regret selling your G1 you can have enough money to buy another G1... just my 2 pennies

There's no way you could do that. Sprint doesn't use sim cards. But hey sell it to him for $763,987.99.
to unlock, call t-mobile if you have a plan through them. here's a better question, why wouldn't you regret selling your G1
It's pointless to waste your time or money unlocking it because sprint doesn't use sims and they are CDMA where the G1 HAS TO HAVE a sim and is GSM. You prolly will prefer a iphone though it is less work.

just sell your g1 on ebay for like 300 and get a refurb 3g 16gb from att for 99, just gotta get a 2yr contract (maybe u have a family member who needs a cell plan or a good friend/gf. except if they ship it with 3.1 firmware your ****ed cuz it cant be unlocked for another carrier unless you get one of those special sim cards on ebay.

I have sprint phones for my Son and Daughter. I have had the Hero for several months now, and purchased mine at Best Buy at the awesome sale price of 70.00. I should have bought two then and I am kicking myself in the butt for not doing so. Well, my son really wants one and I promised him one for graduation, but now they are not on sale anymore.
If there is anyone out there selling their Hero to get ready for the new line of Android phones.... I am extrememly interested in buying your HERO.. if you know of anyone selling one rooted or not, let me know please.

Radio shack pays almost 200 for n1's... bad trade imo... n1 = even trade for g2 because n1 you cant get new unles your registered dev.

I picked up a Desire Z NAM on Ebay.
They seem to go for around the same price as an Iphone 4 so if you don't have luck with a trade you could always buy the Z/Sell the iCrap =P
They're also available on Negri Electronics but a little pricier than Ebay...

I called up asking about it since my mother let's me use her account sometimes and they told me I had a easy payment option I could use towards it. It's on easy pay now too, I kinda backed up away from the N7100 version since there's no LTE and only 3G connections. But figured I'd inform those users who like this version.

Probably but when I'm with my mom and she uses my Dell Streak 5 she says How in the h3ll do I use this thing and constantly waking the screen up while talking on it and accidentally hanging up on her calls. Shes 66. LMAO
