Where's sqlite3? - Nexus One General

I have a Nexus One (unlocked, Superboot, amon-ra recovery 1.6) and am trying to issue a sqlite3 command but sqlite3 is unable to be found. I tried whereis but that command can't be found either. Can someone point me to where it is on the Nexus One or maybe it just isn't there in which case, how do I get it on my N1.
Thanks in advance,
Doug

We're not stupid lol I'm pretty sure its missing from the superboot package
EDIT: Or the ROM itself

Okay I got around this by grabbing the binary from TheOfficial Nexus1 ROM. Its in the zip file under system/xbin
Then all you have to do is adb remount, adb push sqlite3 /system/xbin/. Then adb shell, chmod 777 /system/xbin/sqlite3

Would you please provide the download for Android version sqlite3
I gained the root access, but I could not find the sqlite3 in production Motorola Droid. would you please give me a download link to download sqlite3 for android? Thanks

x2 but thanks for the effort.
Great info, but can you edit the title of the post? It seems a bit harsh to flipz. All these guys deserve the utmost respect for doing these ROMs and not asking for much from us.

Ok but after that statement, what goes after, cuz since we are in the sqlite3 telephony.db, we cant adb reboot from there. What is the command to close/save the statement. I tried .quit, exit, adb reboot and no success.
how do we know that by doing the above statements the change took effect?

Bricked Phone?

Ok I got A Problem. Went to flash a new rom after backing my current one up with rom manager everything went fine till I went to flash it and now it says

I dont have a working phone. Tried several different roms and nothing.
what do I need to do??
can u boot in to recovery mode " vol up + power button " ? and dont use Clockworkmod recovery as its known to have issues with the eris.
use the other recovery.
Thanks T.A.
Yes I can Boot into recovery thats it.
How do I go about Flashing a New Recovery Manager
Topaz is right.... Amon_RA FTW !
How do I install that now though. I have been searching through forums looking cant find a step by step

[How To] Install new voice search and quick search

ONLY WORKS WITH ANDROID 2.2 (FROYO)
For those of you that don't know, Google released a new Voice Search that allows "actions". For more info go Here.
First off, I wanna thank Tsenru, klinster, devlogic, BinaryMan, and Synchromatic @ the CM forum for all the info.
This is instructions for ubuntu so make the proper adjustments for windows if needed.
From ADB
Code:
adb pull /system/app ~/Desktop/app/
adb remount
adb shell rm -f /system/app/VoiceSearch.apk
adb shell pm uninstall com.google.android.voicesearch
adb shell rm -f /system/app/GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk
adb shell pm uninstall com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox
Once this is done you can search market for "voice search" and "google search" then after they're installed, reboot.
Now for the next step.
If the search hard key doesn't bring up the quick search box (keyboard input), do this.
Code:
adb remount
adb shell ln -s /data/app/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-1.apk /system/app/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.apk
adb reboot
Now all should work!
I had a wierd name for quick search box (com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-1) so keep that in mind if you have any issues.
Now enjoy you fancy new voice search!
tried everyone's suggestions so far, with your suggestions I get:
rm failed for -f, Read-only file system
Worked for me, thanks!

Rather then using the command adb shell mv /data/app/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox /system/app
I suggest the command ln -s /data/app/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-1.apk /system/app/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.apk
ln -s creates a symbolic link to the file rather then moving the file. It keeps the google search file where the installer put it. If you move the file are you causing an issue in the future when the next upgrade comes around?

Just tried it, works great. Thanks!

thanks that worked and it was way easier than adb.
I'd love to have this feature, but I get "failure" when I enter the adb shell pm uninstall com.google.android.voicesearch command. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, except that I have no idea what the difference between Ubuntu and Windows commands are.

I'm pretty sure you can just do this:
Adb shell
Su
Remount rw
That was enough to let me edit my build.Prop when root explorer wasn't remounting correctly.
Although I would recommend root explorer for stuff like this... remounts on the epic now and it let's you Remount in the application without adb. I think it's $0.99 in the market and we'll worth it.

(can't post a image link because im still new in here)
but still, super user denied.
Im sure youve tried stuff -- did you try clearing superuser cache -- refresh the slate and confirmed you did not miss the SU popup? just be sure the screen is on and look for it like 2 seconds after you hit enter after "adb shell"

The cyanogenmod update guide assumes that you have a rom with tattoo-hack loaded, and the path to su is not set.
Look in this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=716282
in the sections
1.3 Tools you need
1.5 The manual way (recommended by the author)
2.3 How to flash/tools needed
Do the steps in 1.5, use the rom image and recovery from cyanogenmods wiki, in 2.3, do the second line, for flashing recovery. After that you can flash cyanogenMod from the recovery menu (Accessed by booting to recovery by holding home+power)
