Power on when opening keyboard

Does anyone know if there exists a tweak to power on my wizard when I open my keyboard?
My power button does'nt work anymore and i have to remove each time my sd-card to power on my wizard. Does anyone has another suggestion?

Try Settings->buttons->locks (don't know the exact menu items' name, as my device is in german - but should be close :wink: )
You can set other buttons (i.e. messaging) to be able to power on your device.

on my dual on the home screen the soft key on the bottom right of the touch screen used to be contacts. but now it has turned to 'go to...' when i click this i get an error message! how can i change the button

get the freeware tool Keyswop
you can define there, what the two softkeys do.
dont forget to do a softreset after you safed your new settings.

Touchflow3D + working program changer

I am looking for a solution for changing the programs in TF3D.
I tested already the Alt-tab.exe and the alt-tab in Aebuttons.
If you have 3 programs opened these alt-tab changes only to one or 2 programs.
I mapped the alt-tab to the back-sensor button (right button to "Home").
Does anybody knows a working solution?

Furthermore, is there any way so set the taskmanager that comes with HD and is only useable in homescreen on a button, so that it works form any open window?

copy the TaskMgr.ink from windows to \windows\startmenu\Programs - It is not beautyful but it works. I´ve set it on long press phone button - bebause I need all buttons as they are

well the taskmgr.lnk contains the html-help to the taskmanager. if you start the taskmgr.cpl you have only a windoq of the running programs. not a finger-friendly solution.

I would prefer a solution as is already is on the HD on top of today screen. But I don´t find a way to get it to work on a button.

Hardware Key / Landscape mode

Hi,
i save the landscape mode on the right hardware key (Bildschirm drehen).
After every reboot this setting is gone and i must save it new. After reboot there is "today screen" saved on the right key...
Is it a bug or a feature? Or i am too stupid
X1, german version without branding. I have installed the blackstone TF3 and a few other Programs...but i dont think thats the problem, is it?

I also assigned the "Bildschirm drehen" to "rotate screen" (left is "start")
Mine does the same:
Normal behavior after a soft reset
PS: after some persistance (manually changing it again and again after every soft reset) it looks like it is not changing back to the "today" default anymore

It was not my "persistance", I got the trick:
I was using TF3D...
After removing TF3D my X1 isn't auto-remapping the right softkey to "home" anymore
Are you using TF3D ??

on left Key i have save "messaging" <-- this setting dont change after reboot automatically. Only the right key change allway to "Today screen"

yes, i use this (from blackstone project)

TF3D will always auto-remap your right softkey to "home"
There's no way to fight against it, unless you install a third-party key remapping app

But the problem is the same.
Can I change the Software Button to rotate screen?? I need a path to the "exe" but i dont know..
ups...sorry..but tf3d change the software buttons in every view..so it cant help me...

volume control via hardware left side control

hi, I've just purchased a HD2 and I'm new to WM.
After installing some tweaks, I discovered that when i tune the volume using the button on the side of the phone, instead of showing the original volume level in a black screen, now it shows a small window on the top right corner.
How can I get back the original black volume control screen ?
i'm on Manila ver 2.5.19211619 and ROM 1.66 with 6.5.2 OS.

Have u installed any taskbar modification?

i installed the following :
- cookie's home tab
- flashlight
- CHTEditor
-.Net CF3.5
-bluetooth toggle
- close album with X
- disable accidental link
- lonngpress send key
- faster manila tweaks
- opera 6 tabs
-reset and wifi
- speed up screen scrolling
-start menu icons and BG transparent
will any of the above cos the change ?

Its definetely not cookies home tab, flashlight and probably not Net cf3,5, your best bet is to uninstall app one by one and soft reset after each to find out which one could be the culprit.

it's the last one that removed the original volume control.
i now have a new 'problem' - i could not remove the icon completely. Tried removing and the msg is that there are icons that are not removed completely and asked whether i want to tremove them, i confirmed 'Yes' but that prog will still appear in the list of installed prog. Tried a few times and it is the same.
Now the silent/ringer mode icon is mission from the task bar.
Looks like I will for other icons or reinstall the task bar icons and make do with the 'not so nice' volume control.
