Big problem with storage on Trinity.....help !!!

i'm using Mary 3.3.5 SL with almost nothing software as espect !!! (just wow)
But recently, i found out, my software which i install on miniSD card has lost suddently...with no reason.
I 've tried to format or ever hard reset...(with same Mary3.3.5SL)
but it still remain problem. Normally, the evening yesterday,i plug to charge as usual,and then today morning...I found nothing on my card mini SD, ...instead of some file such as mail...iecache...cache....or something really @sshole....
I wonder it cause of some bug or else ??? Anyone catch the bug like me ???
It's not one time....it happen 3 time recently after i install and reinstall again again...i fell really bad about what happen.
p/s : not only my program, but also my picture which i shoot from camera, and video i store on miniSD...???
It's problem of miniSD or bug of Mary3.3.5???
Please answer me quickly...i luv Mary3.x.x SL....cause it nearly empty but empty by this way is very bad.......

if you look around ?the problem is not from Mary 3.3.5 SL ?? its from the minisd card....many of them is not stable especially those which is not original
if you have card reader try to fromat it by fat32 ? or change the card to another kind like kingstone or toshiba ?i think those good ones

no this is not just a card problem itself, it's a htc problem. search "sd card corruption". it's widely reported.

uhm, i ask some of my friends, and there is a problem too with kingston SD card too... but with another OS ,i mean another wm5.....i bought my trinity and miniSD card at Fnac (cause i'm had lived in france for a long time).
Then now...i think this card is origine or original as you say...
Any experience ???

oh,dear, thank you for give me advice "sd card corruption" but
It seem not in this case,cause if "sd card corruption" happen, it's always show the message " SD card corrupted" and also can't open card, except re-format it.
In my case, i got 2 or 3 folder after "corrupt". I mean yesterday evening, i install 4 or 5 game, play as usual...i plug charge into my Trinity.
Ok,then,i sleep......until morning, i check i got nothing on miniSD card.
except 3 folder "cookies" + "History" + "Mail" .
If you got corrupt card, you can't see such 3 folder...
Remember that : yesterday,everything just fine, until this morning...
It happen 3 or 4 times...Someone know it's become from what ???

my card got status on properties "RAW" instead of FAT or FAT32...
wth ???

just try to change your card ?? and see if this problem is still exist ....i have same problem before.....

try doing this:
once u find that your storage card data disappears, use the file explorer from Trinity.
open and see... you'll find that u have 'storage card' AND 'storage card2'
delete 'storage card' which contains a folder called mail
after deleting 'storage card', soft reset... you should get back everything.
i've faced the problem twice.

I have a Gene in which i am using a 2 GB mini-MMC card.
Once in 2-3 days my gene loses the data on the card and shows some strange charecters with 1 GB or 2 GB size.Usually multiple folders with such strange characters are found.When i soft reset the card is shown normally.But after 2-3 months even softreset does not work.Then i have to format my card and start from scratch.3 times i have done hard reset but without any effect.I am not using any cracked software.I removed all third party software but still the same thing continues.
So i need your advice as
1. I cannot send the phone to repair as the nearest service center is 1000 km away.
2. I am not able to try another card as my mini-mmc is stuck inside the Gene( Damn the person who conceived this idea of putting the storage card space in an inaccesible position )
Please my dear friends. Any tidbit of idea can save my phone

I read somewhere that partitioning will resolve the issue but I just couldn't get to do it. There are guides everywhere to tweak the registry to fool the OS into thinking that your storage card is not a removable drive and then partitioning it, but I just can't get to do it. It shows me a drive with only 52mb space!?!
Anyways, this is a gene issue and we need to get it resolved. If anyone out there knows anything about it, please help.

Atlast found the cause of card corruption

After successfully experimenting with somany options atlast i have found the answer for the card corruption.
IT WAS DUE TO MERRIAM WEBSTER( SLOVOED ) DICTIONARY WHICH I HAVE USED FREQUENTLY-BOTH UNABRIDGED&MEDICAL.
I have removed them 1 week back and nomore card corruption since then.
So there is an issue with slovoed and WM5 ppc.
If anyother members having similar problem try this option.

microsd card destroyed by flashing rom?

i have a problem and i hope you guys can help me by sharing your idea's / thoughts.
the problem is that my Sandisk 8gb class 2 isnt recognised by anything anymore.. here is my story what led to this event.
i was going to flash a new rom. so i removed sim and sd card (removed my card becouse i was using mtty task 29 with radio and was affraid it would remove the data on there too.) anyway after that was done i flashed EnergyROM with max sense. but it was the different max sense that i was hoping for so i flashed to energyrom 17th march with cookie shortly after. i installed some programs from storage card.. seemed to work fine. i plugged it in my computer as a disk drive, put some programs on it. it was busy and then it disappeared. it wouldnt show up on the phone to so i soft reset it. still nothing.. i hard reset and it still was gone.. then i put it in a sd adapter and into my laptop. wouldnt show there too. so can it be that it got ****ed up by the rom? (becouse there are other ppl having this issue)
any help would be welcome..

You've mentioned in your post that it stopped working whilst connected to your computer, so how would it be the ROM causing the issue?

i am not sure about that but there are 2 other people i saw in the energyrom threat posting about the same subject. (here and here) since there is not much help about the subject there and im not sure its even rom related i came here to ask for help.
i read somewhere that it could be possibly fixed by putting the card for 2 hours in the freezer. but that didnt work for me..

I couldn't agree you more ... ! I have exactly the same encounter as you. My Sandisk 8G card is corrupted soon after flashing EnergyRom Maxmanila for a few hours (Before flashing, I removed my sim and sd card). Then, I put the card in three different computers hoping that I could recover the files but failed. Still searching for resolutions!

Could this be hd2 or sd card's problem?

your hd2's came with an 8 gig? mine came with a 16 gig. sweet!
yeah, that sux tho. did you try reformating the card?

the 16gb sd card that came with this phone seems very cheap.. when i tried to copy a few GB of music and a couple movies on mine (through activesync) it kept crashing..
the phone would say it recognized a sd card inserted, but it wouldnt scan it nor did the pc detect the "drive"
i had to reset the phone several times durring the transfer..
finally i just went with a better quality 8gb sd card i had.. its much faster.
i was going to try to contact tmobile and now that ive seen posts about the sd card i think i will.

Regarding this problem we all are having i think its got to do with the energy rom somewhere as i have flashed different energy roms and SD card appear for so long and then disappear. After taking battery out and then it will reappear again and disappear again.
I got it to stay on one rom installed all programs i needed etc then did a reset it disappeared and still gone but it can re read by a card reader so not corrupted.
so it's got something to do the Energy rom i think.
any thoughts ?

i too had the same problem with stock rom and if i recall well two more users got this problem with hd2 with stock rom. i also have got the stock sandisk 8gb. all people having this problem here have got the 8gb?? i think the problem is with the 8gb card supplied with the phone.

Why does my phone says phone storage is not mounted? I tried everything from factory data reset to the PHV ( Power + Home + Volume Up ) buttons. And it seems nothing is working. I have been looking for answers for days. And i dont think anyone has this problem than me. Im the only one with the problem. SD Card is not reading as well. I tried my SD Card on my wife's SM-N900 ( same as mine ) and it work well. Nothing happened. Is there any solution to this? Please help me solve this issue. Thank you for your time. /;

I tried to download something from WhatApp and it says " Download Failed : Cannot download because no internal shared storage is available. Please unmount it as a disk drive and try again". I never did do anything and it unexpectedly became something like that. Is there no solution to this issue ?

It might be a hardware problem specific to your phone - a bad contact or something similar. Test with 2-3 different micro-SD cards that all are (recently) tested and working fine in other phones.

I did try my wife's SD Card and it went well . And used mine on my wife's phone. But the main problem is that the Phone Storage in not available. How do i correct this hardware problem?

Does the card work (is it seen) in another phone? If yest try to format it on the pc and see if it is recognised then in the N3, if not the card may be damaged.

Yes it worked well on other phone's via alcatel. So it means that there's something wrong with my hardware right ? How do i change the firmware? Maybe something went wrong with its firmware? It has never fell before since its brand new..

I did the card formatting as well factory reset the phone. Still the phone gives message as Blank SD card.
SD card reads in PC and in other phones.

Hi suddenly the SD card starts functioning and today it goes on and off means, sometimes it reads by itself and other time it gives blank sd card.
My note 3 is not rooted and Samsung guys informed that warranty ceases with rooting.
Can I have other workaround without rooting.

I have the same problem with my samsung Gio model: m290k..when i inserted SD card it does not show in my phone, however same SD card is operate in other models..when i try to download whatsapp pictures same message appear on the screen..
plz guide me hw to solve this problem.

I am stuck in same problem when i was massing arround with adding users on my intex aqua power ... i accidently unmounted my internal storage i cant even see my sdcard ... BUt I have terminal emmulator installed on my phone and i can navigate arround my memory card and internal storage /// I took my back up of my memory card in my PC then i copied all the folders from internal storage to sd card and again took backup of it!! It worked for me ... I did get my files back But still coude't mount my sd card or internal storage!!!

i ve bought sm-t231 recently
but there re problems with the ext sd card
first the device said it was broken untill i d to format it to fat32
it worked but it hanges alot
eg when i play mp3 file it works for awhile then stops
is it a problem with the device or the sd card

Don't be so demanding. The only way to know which is bad, is to test the tablet with another card and test that card with another device.
