Hi guys just got the HTC Touch 2 ,t mobile unlocked but i am putting it on The orange network,I can make and receive calls but I cannot not access the internet ,I have tried all the settings i have found on the net ,I have been onto orange and Htc ,but still no internet I have read all the threads and done lots of searching .I read something about Net work Wizard cab.can someone please help.

Dude, you need HTC Connection Setup.cab, it will configure your data settings to the new operator. Find it here on xda.

Hi, I recently moved to orange payg on my wizard and have got the data service working perfectly so i can browse the internet. I cannot however get picture messaging working. Ive seen the posts around the board detailing the procedure on wm2003 but im having trouble translating the information into wm5 tried a few different settings but no joy so far.
Can anyone that has mms working on wm5 / wizard for a uk payg orange sim please let me know all their settings.

I'm using an unlocked vario with these settings and they work perfectly.
thank you for the reply. I just got it working however... called orange and they had 'forgotten' to enable it. Gave me 30 free pic messages so i guess its all ok in the end.

hi all i have a xda11 on o2 and having problems going on the web and o2 active i have spoke to o2 which help a bit. Does any one know how to solve this problem.Also it is on payg i know i have to but the setting in but does any one have the as the o2 site is not much help

I have recently upgraded my Windows Mobile device to a Softbank X01HT which is the equivalent of a Dopod 838 Pro i think. Anyway ringing up my service provider which is Vodafone Australia is like trying to extract teeth !
This is my problem....
All i want to do is to be able to surf the web when im not within a Wifi Zone and be able to receive MMS messages. Simple !
I have made 3 calls to Vodafone Australia and they have walked me through several steps but im still yet to get these two features to work.
Can anyone help?
ok ive managed to get MMS working but still not able to use the internet, i.e. dialup and access websites when im not within wifi range.

I love it already! As you can see the phone has been unlocked and I am using it on orange UK network.
I can make calls etc but when I try to access the web it says no connection available.
I can put my simcard in my old phone in my bedroom and instantly get a signal to be able to go on the web.
Any help guys?

You must configure your WiFi connection or your APN list in order to access the internet via carrier.
To configure your APN list search for your carrier settings here:
http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/wiki/APNlist
Get the parameters and create a new APN.
yeah you must have a data connection in order to view web, go to the market, sync gmail...really you need data for almost everything with these phones

I am just about to bid on an unlocked Touch HD - I am currently using HTC Hero on 3UK ..... I love the phone but want a windows mobile phone also (dont ask why but I have always had wm)
The question I would like to ask if anyone can assist me is , on previous htc wm phones I have had, there is a internet connection wizard which configues the phone for internet .and most time it prompts when the sim is inserted
3 dont support in theory the touch hd and there are no connections shown on the three website but I know I can use it if unlocked which the one im looking at is ...
Can anyone tell me if the phone has internet wizard ??
