is anyone working on Porting HD mini ROM (WinMo) to HD2 ?
since is meant to b official 6.5.3 ... btw i have noticed that on video on HTC SENSE home screen Windows and X (close) don't appear underneath SENSE but it dose in all Roms in here (unless i misunderstood something)
it be nice to see that ROM on LEO plus new lock screen looks cool
why would you want to port it to the HD2? The HD mini has a far lower resolution, thus making sense on the HD mini also in a lower resolution, that doesn't make .... sense??
im not tlaking about porting Sense, but the Official Version of WinMo 6.5.3 (HDmini is the first HTC device to run it) ... i assume it should b more stable
Well when we have the ROM then i am sure some stuff could be useful, I found some things out like it is build 23101. I would be interested about how we could remove the start button from our 6.5.3 ROMs

hmm, my assumption is that its maybe part of new SENSE version or just WM build specific, coz if it was a Registry thing im sure someone would of discovered it by now...
The point here is that this version of Sense is specificaly for WM6.5.3, the dailer is for WM6.5.3 and everithing is optimized for WM6.5.3! The only thing that is stopping me from using WM6.5.3 ROMs is the dailer pad icon bug! I hate the way it looks on WM6.5.3

put some black tape on the start button and you have a nice ported Mini softbar

No, positionning of the left soft-key would be still too far from the edge, which is ugly.
But, actually what's important also is that this HD mini's WM build is final, which means it has been tested and approved by MS, and improved by HTC. So, it means stability.

You are absolutely right. If you can get me a nice, new 6.5.x Mini rom I will see what I can do
there's no SHIP HDmini rom yet (unless I've missed it)
we do have test rom, but it's definitely NOT 6.5.3 and the bits from it aren't any more 6.5.3 compatible than the leo stuff we already have.
Alright, that explain why the HD mini locker which has been "cabbed" a few days ago is so buggy and laggy... it has been extracted from a test ROM. Thank you for the information!
What do you mean about, it's not 6.5.3? You mean it's 6.5.5? By the way, I don't remember where I saw someone saying that it was a WM 6.5.3 build, so that totally could be a wrong information.

Haha yes I can agree with you about the looks really looks come from MS itself..For me this software also a bit expensive..but after looking at the WM7 skin..I am really attracted with this software

i have been using his version 1 and version 2 of this theme and it is very great. He keeps perfecting it with each never release and the releases are coming with days/weeks of each other. Also the creator, iWisen, is very open to suggestions to make it specific to your needs. So hit up that pocketman forum if you find bugs or have suggestions.

I have tried v2 and its working fine with my device..what is your type of device? I ever heard WM2003 won't be able to run this soft perfectly

Yeah, this is a nice generic edit of the existing theme, adds some color to the dull TF3D! I'm working on some themes myself, it's a lot of work repacking and editing everything to be compatible with the new Rhodium files though..!

I try not to release the blue since itje releases the blue tf3d. I do have some touch pro themes that are similar. They are blue and green and i may release the green one next. I'm just so lazy nowadays lol...

Be careful!!!!!! This is a theme! This is not tf3d application. The new tf3d plugin from the Rhodium (Touch Pro 2) has landscape support and that makes it A MILLION times better than beta 2. But please keep in mind this is just a theme not the full application. I think itje released a cab of the new touch flo but if i could recommend anything would be to use his new 4.5 ROM(or Jack's ROM) it is as perfect as it gets.

Probably it will be produced specially for future devices manufactured by HTC, which will have all (maybe) WVGA resolution...

Looking at the screenshots, it appears that they have moved on to developing exclusively for WVGA. For example the homescreen has the extra buttons at the bottom to launch favourites, on the TP/Diamond there is not enough room for these links to be visible all the time and you would have to scroll down to see them
Even in devices WVGA so, when there are several appointments displayed in calendar.
They should make the clock smaller. The homescreen could be so much more efficient, and more customizable like SPB MS3. If you could combine those two you would have awesome software!

I flashed it and used for an half hour, it was not ready for daily use yet. Main feature of new manila is that you can reach all the settings and customizations by manila.

ROM and the manila was little bit buggy, so I had deleted them.
Plus, I did not like this manila although it has many new good features, it was looking like having low resolution...

Is it really possible to port it to qvga devices? Does this new manila need 3d drivers? I remember, TF3D-QVGA was working on my device, but with white zones where animation/3d acceleration was needed. And standby problem...
I believe Manila 2.5 has no animatons....it's....kinda of a cross between TF3D and Manila 2D, hence 2.5

sorry to inform, but manila 2.5 is full of animations...every thing you see should be considered an animation element as it can be moved around to whatever place you need...its not a step behind but always a step forward...
since opengl is needed only devices that ran TF3D will be (if its ported) able to run manila 2.5

I updated my xbox 360 dashboard a while ago, and I was completely blown away by the new 'kinect dashboard' graphic style. I decided, this is what I want my smartphone to look like. I'm sure most of you agree with me, stock android is ugly, sense is too fancy and glossy looking, and Windows Phone 7 looks awesome, but a bit too plain. So I think I've found a perfect inbetween, ''Kinect Phone''. (working title obviously) I tried to imitate the kinect graphic style a bit, without completely copying it, and tried to adapt it to look good on a smartphone. I've finnished a home screen mockup a while ago, and I'm currently working hard to theme the framework completely. I will only release this when it's completely finnished, and probably first on the HD2, since it's the only phone I own. I made some mockup images a while ago, please note the below screenshots are quite old, and the theme has progressed quite a bit, but I don't want to ruin the suprise . Here they are:

This overhaul takes elements from:
- Sense (The clock and some ideas)
- Windows Phone 7 (icons)
- Android (unavoidable I suppose)
- XBOX 360 Kinect dashboard
Themeing android is quite simple, as opposed to Windows Mobile. As I'd love to release a Windows Mobile version (Cookies Home Tab 2.0 has a lot of potential) does someone have some useful information about themeing it?
This thread's purpose is to get your opinions, and help of course

absolutely amazing, imo think about using launcher pro launcher....its very smooth and will complement the amazing looks of this.
just like cyannogen mod used adw...launcher pro will be a good idea (imo)

You could always install the Android SDK on your PC so you can run an emulator

No idea, and I didn't know you'd need a custom ROM or I wouldn't have suggested it. Will people need to use a specific build to use your theme then?
