hi i have probleme with htc dream there is no display just blank screen the phone communicate with adb and fastboot interface normal but nothing on screen any idea please help me
Broken? Can you see anything in recovery? flash a new rom and see if that works.

i installed that new Rom for my htc p3600, and it worked fine.. some minutes after that the screen went black.. i made a softrestart from that small button with the styles.. the trinity started, but stopped on the screen with : smart mobility... that black screen after the moving HTC logo... and nothing happend...
it is just stuck there..
after many restarts i thought i would re install the rom, but the pc can't see the device any more... the redlighted led is on when i plug the device to the pc, but still nothing happening..
the device is just stuck... doesn't go in to the system,, doesn't accept new instalation from the pc...
and all my work is stopped...
i have backup for my data, but i need to use my device.. please please.. help help help.. very fast..........

Boot loader
i think may be it will help you if you get in BootLoader Mode ( by pressing the Camera Button and the Off Button )
then during the device in the boot loader mode try to connect it to your PC and try to flash another rom

hi, i have a htc magic/sapphire phone, after downloading and updating from sd card (update.zip) my phone cant turn on when i'm press the power on key. and i cant recognize it on my compuiter via usb, so my computer is't connet to my htc magic from usb.
all of i can know about short keys (home+end, back+end) not responding correctly
when i'm press trackball+end a have a BLUE LED(not green) on top of my phone
what can i do

Same problem me too... I tried splhard1_update_signed.zip
But when I restart... nothing!!! The magic doesn't start up... I have only a bad uggly black screen...
Tried : HOME+POWER, HOME+POWER+BACK; POWER+VOLDOWN
But nothing... ideas??

Maybe unmodified Magic cannot run updates? Have a look at the "Sapphire android development" forum for the "daldroid" custom rom or others

After about an hour of searching, this post is the closest to my same situation. My unlocked 32A HTC Magic/Sapphire has already been put through ADB and fastboot a few times to change out the ROM. I decided to try what appeared to be official HTC content from http://developer.htc.com/google-io-device.html#s4
Unfortunately I'm guessing those instructions are for 32B only? (Doesn't say one way or another, I now notice). I did the radio install using fastboot, and now the device boots to splash screen but no further. Cannot get into fastboot, cannot use ADB.
Can someone please confirm for me that there is no hope, before I go spend another $600 as punishment for not being smart enough to do this?

My HTC Universal is almost dead
I had Tomal v12 ROM, tried to install Almost2 ROM, but it stuck on Splash screen , after reflashing several other ROMs problem remained there. also tried MTTY app and enter to bootload and flushed Tomal rom again.
bottom result. now i can't see any thing on my screen , even i cant enter to BootLoader screen by pressing keys.
Screen is totaly black at moment and usb connected to it does not recoginize it as valid device.
Please help me how to come out from this.. and get back my device back working.
how can i enter to bootloader from sd card.?
any help would be appericiated.

And by flash again he means you may need to go ALL the way back get into bootloader and do a Task 29.
Better yet - Download the HD2 Toolkit From this Formum(dont for get to Thank the developer of the software) Right from this software you'll be able to Task 29, Partition and anything else you'll need. This is the easyway

You may try boot in refrigerator....to cool down CPU
if this works, that means maybe a hardware defect is happening on your phone

install recovery for sd card google sd card recovery xda this allows one to go into recovery when u press and hold power button and choose first option boot ad sd. follow instructions frim thread.
