if you go into the boot loader and clear the memory it will let you start over, just steer clear of the weather widget update it will show in the market place.

For the last week, everything on my home screen has been disappearing. Sometimes my apps and widgets will there, but usually they won't. If anyone has any tips/suggestions I would appreciate it.

U need to give more info than that to be helped. Did u put apps on the sd card?
I had this happen to me before too, shortly after I installed Launcher Pro. It was happening on the stock launcher (icons disappearing from the home screen). After I installed a 3rd launcher, ADWLauncher, everything seemed to finally work again. FWIW.

Hi guys im new to the forum and, i dont know much around. Could you guys tell me how i could change the lock screen to standard 2.2 Froyo lock screen? I dont want to use the Sense lock screen and i have already tried out lockbot which fails to work miserably.
Thnx Guys ^^
Damn thanks button..., try widget locker, you can also mod it as well if you want to.
Thnx for replying but unfortunately i cant pay for it. Is there anything for free except widget locker and lockbot free?

I'm sure you'll be able to find it on google or on the internet somewhere , and lockbot is crap imo.
Also the widgetlocker website allows you to pay for it via paypal. http://teslacoilsw.com/widgetlocker
I've got default android lock screen by using wildpuzzle + remove htc widgets package.
Just wondering weather to use widget locker or try and mod this one.
Kevin, do you think widget locker will work better without the htc lockscreen?
i shyed away from it in the past because it would show up when screen was locked and unlocked within the 5secs...
Yes it works perfect with the stock android lockscreen, it never shows up after i unlock widget locker.
Just don't forget to enable 5 second root rule just in case.

first go to settings -> applications and enable uknown sources....then copy the app to your sd card ...when you do all that use any file manager and go to your sd card and find the app you want to install...then just click on it
use the market app to download a file manager if you dont have one jet
sorry for my english
I've tried the widget locker app, but after the unlocking, annoying animation of flying squares in shades of gray appears. is that normal? how to disable it?
Realy stupid, isn't it I was wondering myself what the hell that was, and when it was raining a saw a very crapy animation of droplets falling on my screen. So the square thing is a weather animation - i think it's supose to tell you that it is cloudy outside
Just look in the setting, you will find an option somewhere where you can choose to show the animation at every screen, show it just when unlocking the home screen or disable it.
Erwin
Why you dont use WidgetLocker Lockscreen v1.2.8.1 ...you can find it on web for free and if you dont I send it to you!
oh so that was the weather animation...thought it was a bug, thnx!

i have the same problem....apperantly you have to disable weather animations but i don't know where
Edit: sorry didnt see the solution from ErwinP
I do not have it rooted, nor do I have a 3rd party launched on there, I downloaded a text widget app which I believe may have something to do with why its doin this because it only started doing it when I tried to apply the widget to one of my screens, I have also tried to turn of off and then it back on but no luck.
Can anyone tell me there is a wah to access the apps and they to delete it by pluging it in and doing it that way? Would really hate to have to recover to a previous version
I don't quite understand what is going on. Does your launcher force close only when you try to put the widget on the screen, or does it force close on booting now?
If it is just when you put the widget on the screen, then there is something wrong with that widget and you can just uninstall it.
Sorry,no it does it now even when I boot

this is the app I dl'd
https://market.android.com/details?...ch_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS50VGV4dCJd
well I was able to get it fixed by just spamming the settings button and was able to get to the applications and manually un-install it
Anyone know of a fix? My clock will randomly be tiny in the center of my screen, but when I press and hold it to re-size it's already as big as it will go? So I go small, then back to big to make it full size again
I have removed the Widget
Stock Everything
Driving me CRAZY!

Have you tried clearing cache and data of your clock?

I have and just wiped Device cache as well.
I guess now I wait...
Nope! Still doing it! Someone has to have a fix for this!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Does no one know how to fix this? Is it just something I have to deal with & there is no fix? A Bug? Will be fixed in a future release?

You are the only person I've ever read of having this issue. I agree it's weird and I'm sure rather frustrating. Anything short of just wiping the device and flashing the factory image may be in vein. As long as you flash the image and don't restore any data I would be shocked if it came back.
Ugh... Wiped, FDR without restore and still having the same issue...
Okay, so I just got a replacement 6P for a pink screen issue & the damn clock widget still does the same thing? That's 2 separate phones with the same issue? I can't be the only one...
Some other app is causing it.

Take screen shots of what its supposed to look like and of what it ends up looking like. The only thing that would cause that on mine is if I put some other widget near it and it was fighting for the same footprint.

I have a very minimal Home Screen. There is nothing in the way to abstruct the Clock Widget
I have the same problem. It's been happening ever since the last update to the clock app. I think it has something to do with them making the widget resizeable for the Google now launcher. Im using Nova. It's definitely not your phone. It's a bug in the clock app.

Have you tried dragging the lines as far as possible so the whole screen is the widget padding? Just an idea. I use Google now launcher/apex launcher and have not had any issues. I'll try with Nova and see if it happens.
I have this issue. I only use nova and it happens to me most time. Im not using the widget anymore. Just using zooper widget.
I think making the widget bigger than it needs to be has fixed it! Yay! Thx Gizmoe
I an using a weather widget ( tried many ), and the big clock in any widget of them, sometime freezes, when the phone is asleep. Sometime even it remains asleep ( different from the small clock in the status line) for some many seconds.
This happens only after upgrading to B560 .
Is there a solution for this ? I have tried many weather apps, either using the drawer style home screen or the Nova launcher.
Appreciate any help

This happened to me with Marshmallow. Go into settings, select permissions manager, then trust the app. It might be a little different in nougat, but the idea should be the same.
