Hi,
I got a htc mega and a toyota Verso with a built-in car Bluetooth. Im trying to set my device to export TOMTOM audio through bluetooth so i can hear it in the car speakers. When I pair my htc with the car only the handsfree profile is avaiable (I can receive and make calls without any problem).
I tried BTaudioToggle app but it doesnt seems to work. Any ideas?
Thx

I've got a BT stereo headset (HTC S100) and also BT in my car (Ford). I'm not trying to use them simultaneously (no point), I just want the headset to work properly when I'm using that and then when I get in my car I want the Tytn to connect to my car BT and to work properly with that. At the moment if I want to use my headset I have to go into BT settings and untick "Handsfree" for the car BT device and soft-reset, then I have to do some tinkering on the headset and make a phonecall before it will kick in and behave. Then when I want to use it in my car I have to DELETE the headset from my BT devices (unticking the boxes is not enough), check the "Handsfree" option under the Ford BT device and then soft-reset before it will work.
Why the hell can't the phone just use the headset properly when that's on and connected and then when I'm in the car use the Ford BT properly? Why does having two devices configured interfere with eachother when they're not actually being used simultaneously?!! It's ridiculous, I reckon it's the MS BT stack, what a load of $hite!
Any ideas what I can do? I've tried the JETware handsfree extension, has made no difference.
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this
I have just upgraded from a kaiser to the HD2. I have a Bury take and talk car kit installed so have replace the Kaiser cradle with the Universal Bluetooth cradle. The phone pairs ok, the volume is low over the car speakers but this was the same for the kaiser and I have found that bury sell an amplifier to boost the volume. So far so good.
My question now is is there any way for routing music and gps instructions over the bluetooth connection. Registry hack, app or whatever. I cant see that it cant be done. I have read bits on other threads / forums about routing to Bluetooth headsets, and im thinking this is similar.
Anyone got any good ideas? I havent installed or messed with much yet so am willing to try stuff and hard reset if required
If the carkit doubles as a bluetooth headset and no more, it will only support the protocol which enables you to place calls with the carkit, and route the audio and mic for the call over bluetooth. If you want an audio connection, be sure your carkit allows for an A2DP connection - then you will get music and possibly also voice streams via bluetooth out of your car speakers.
Hi guys!
So, the Xperia support A2DP just fine, also in combination with my car stereo (a Pioneer Avic D3BT set). However, I find that when I start playing audio (doesn't matter if this is music or satnav guidance) before I start the car (and hence the stereo set), not only will the audio not be re-routed to the stereo, but the phone also fails to connect with the A2DP part. Phone audio (headset profile) is connected OK, though.
Is this normal behaviour/has anyone seen the same behaviour?
Oh, and if anyone has a way of transferring contact to the phonebook of the car, I'd be delighted to hear about it. For me, it will immediately disconnect if I even attempt to transfer a phonebook item.
Hey Stampot. I have a Pioneer BROWSE system(BTB200) and I have the same problem. I find if I activate the phone bt after the car is on, A2DP connects fine. But if I do it the other way around,I only get phone audio. To fix I either have to disable/enable the phone bt or (the faster way) toggle the a2dp option. I'm hoping a de/firmware upgrades fixes the prob.

Its works better when u start the car first and that should not be a problem, shouldn't????
Its the same with every Bluetooth Headset. U can do it with the other way, but u must choose the Audioconnection in the Bluetoothsettings manually.
I have my G2 paired to my car for cell calls but can't get Pandora to play thru it. Anyone have success?
You didn't tell us specifics. What car do you drive? Is the stereo stock or aftermarket? What is the Make and Model of the stereo? You also have to make sure the stereo supports the Bluetooth Profile A2DP. Also have you tried this on a Bluetooth Headset? I have this phone but I don't have a Bluetooth headset so I'm not sure if it supports the Bluetooth Stereo Audio Profile. Provide us more info so someone can chime in and answer.
Sorry...its a 2005 BMW 645ci. Its the stock radio and has an intergrated bluetooth that allows the G2 to sync for calls. Shows address book and all on the screen. Works quite well.
I am not sure if it supports A2DP profile and have not used it on a bluetooth headset.
Anyone who if the G2 is a A2DP phone? Ill also check on the bmw forum to see if my car is too.
My new car navigation ( KIA Rio) want me to use A2DP to play music from mobile device and to the Navigation unit.
I don't know how to enable A2DP and after connect to the car Navigation . Please help me.
A2DP is enabled by default on your phone.
You need to have bluetooth on the phone turned on prior to connecting with your car.
Then sync with your car and follow the onscreen instructions and read your owners manual.
The S7 ad2p feature doesn't seem to be working with my Parrot Mki9200 carkit. Nor will it autoconnect for some reason.
It pairs and connects manually with handsfree working for calls, but music won't stream over ad2p to the kit. (Music streaming is enabled, even tried adding it as a trusted device).
Anyone any ideas?
I'm having the same issue with mki9200 and a galaxy s7 edge.
Call audio works fine. Music streaming nothing at all.
