and around about £200 brand new?
thanks
Probably very hard, Buzz claimed he found some on the web a few days ago for your price €200 I believe. He didn't mention where though. Try to PM him.
As the magician is retired now the shops won't be selling them I guess, at least in The Netherlands they almost all switched to the Wizard.

That kind of price is going to be very difficult to find but there are other ways to get closer to that price. My brand new, telecom unbranded, unlocked Qtek S110 (yes 128mb RAM) will have cost me a total of £280 (I bought it in December). Here's how:
1) Signed up to an affiliate program that gives you cash back.
2) Bought the phone on an O2 12 month contract from internet company via the affiliate link.
3) The phone cost me £29.
4) I pay 6 lots of £30 rental per month.
5) At the six month point (or just before) I switch my contract to the cheapest £16 a month rental.
Cost:
Initial outlay = £29
6 x £30 = £ 180
6 x £16 = £96
= £305
minus £25 that I get back from the affiliate network
= £280!
AND, I get 6 months of 200 xnet minutes and 100 messages per month and then 6 months of 25 xnet minutes and 25 messages for free!
And the good thing was that the phone I bought was mobile unbranded and unlocked! But that does depend on the place you buy it from.

T-Mobile Relax 20 (12 month) 3 Months FREE Insurance £299.99
T-Mobile Relax 25 (12 month) 3 Months FREE Insurance £229.99
T-Mobile Relax 30 (12 month) 3 Months FREE Insurance £199.99
T-Mobile Relax 35 (12 month) 3 Months FREE Insurance £14.99
T-Mobile Relax 50 (12 month) 3 Months FREE Insurance £109.99
I saw some errors like this that companies have honoured.
WalMart (Asda) did something silly with the price of digital cameras, but they chose to make the deal to those who bought them because it was good PR and their mistake.
Maybe some of you guys can go buy them for £15, then sell them to us for £100?
I ordered a MDA pro on flext25 with web n walk online
and After waiting 2 weeks for T-Mobile web sales to get any stock in of MDA Pro's I have given this £14.99 offer a try,
whats the worst they can do, cancel the order?
a few years ago I got a pair of kodak dx3700's for peanuts in a simalar deal so there is hope ;-)
Lets see who delivers first as a two week delay by T-Mob gives me grounds to cancel the web order if this company can deliver next day.
Stu.. the bagman..
And thanks very much Jimp for the heads up....
I paid £14.99 for my SPV M5000 as an upgrade on Orange. Just gave them the usual speil about leaving for another network...Left me with some cash for my 4 gig SD card
Jai
I took the liberty of ordering one earlier this morning at the excellent price.
They've changed the price now to reflect the typo.
I got mine on T-mobile in the Netherlands. 9,99 euros for the MDA Pro if I took out a 2 year flex contract at 30 euros a month.
They also included a free 512MB card (part of the standard deal).
Seemed good to me!
They did not honour it :-(
And I was not in the mood to get stroppy
Oh well I will have to wait for T-mobile websales to get stock back in.
Stu..
Dear O2 Germany users, need help here:
I got it with Handy-M, I pay ~470€ once, AND 10€ per month just for the phone!! (20€ monthly basis price). That by simple maths means: I pay 470 + (10 x 24 months) = 710€ for the handy!!! Help me out here, am I missing something or are they really over-charging me 710€ - (market price: 540€) = 170€ ??
Thanks for the help!! (I posted this before in another thread, didnt get any feedback )
You should have asked this question BEFORE getting the phone. Get ready to pay and have fun.
BTW, I paid 510 € for a TIM-branded one (but not simlocked).
I'm also at o2 Germany.
Touch HD: 429,99€
+ o2 Active 100 (100 free SMS and minutes): 15€ per month!
I think there's a small mistake in your claculation
me too,
429€ for the phone
15€/month(incl 100freesms and 100freeminutes) + 25€ for internet flat(resignable all 3 months)

Thanks, but its a different package than Genion M. (I talk 100 free minutes every day ... a bit exaggerated though )
when you get in that ring, you can't get out so easy. I have same experience with 3 Ita, You Must finish your 24 month contract
edit: If really have 100 mins calling every day for 24 months, what you want more
I have bought it over eBay. It costs 109 Euro plus a montly base fee of 15 Euro for 24 months long. So it will cost 470 Euro's for me, really cheap I think.

my HD price
I got my HD from Orange UK online store. The handset should be 293.5 pounds, plus 24-month contract for 20 pounds each month (400 minutes plus 100 messages).
However, they just made a mistake on the price, and I got the phone at 29.5 pounds only (just missed "3"). Very very good luck. The contract price is: 29.5+20*24=510 pounds.
Did you get it with the carrier & sign a contract? or Purchased it unlocked?
Personally i got mine for $650 directly 16GB version, i hate phone carriers contracts
I've read some people seems to have paid less even without carriers.
on ebay the average price for the 16GB version is around $750
Mine is going to cost me about £500 in total on an 18 month contract with 600 mins, texts and data.
$550 shipped to the US
There already was a topic about this thing,
I payed ~390 euro (500$) for mine.
380£ for the i9000 8GB version+8GB SD card.
It's so much fun not having to pay VAT. lol.
It depends which version.
The smaller 8GB ones are in the $500-550 range nowadays.
The larger 16GB version goes for about $120-$170 more.
I paid almost $800 delivered for my 16GB
I like the larger storage, since I used to have sporadic corruption with SD cards in WM, and from what I read Android is not exempt from these, either. I want peace of mind when I am on the road and don't have a backup.
£280 all in (inclusive of VAT) with a third party seller on a really crappy contract, but I already have a contract with T-Mobile which I'm now using in the SGS. Mine is an unlocked, unbranded 8gb stock phone, so free of carrier crap too.
Dialaphone - £20pm 18mth O2 contact, downgradeable at month 9 to £15pm, plus I got £35 cashback by going through TCB. The O2 contract is really crap - 100 minutes, unlimited texts and no data allowance, but £280 for a stock SGS is damn good. They stopped doing the O2 deal earlier this week, though.
€ 380 for the 8GB version, no contract. Not paying VAT is nice.
£410 at Carphone Warehouse, SIM free and unlocked.
£355 from o2 unlocked, to get it you have to already have been with o2 for about 6 months I think and then you can ask to purchase a phone from them (i.e. say im unhappy with current phone but dont want to affect contract) this wasn't the best deal by a long way (desire £285) but i wanted this phone.
Damn, Holland is expensive.
16GB with 200minutes/400texts/unlimited data for 2 years at 650€

I'm in Canada at the moment so thinking of seeing if I can pick one up whilst here that covers the EE bands sim free as it'll be much cheaper. Will have to see how availability is!
SIM-free:
£549.95 from Carphone Warehouse, doesn't say which model it is http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/htc/one-m8?intcmp=HPMini3_HTCOneM8ctaesales_250314
£529.95 from Phones4U, 16GB model http://www.phones4u.co.uk/htc/one/m8/silver?intcid=hero1_htc_one_m8_250314
I prefer Sim-free however its better to wait at that price. Can't justify buying M8 when really its quite a relatively small update over the M7 imo.
Just ordered a SIM Free HTC One M8 in Gunmetal Grey from Carphone Warehouse. Should be here tomorrow.

Isn't Phones4U cheaper at £529.95?
I thought I read somewhere Three were going to get the handset today, but not available on their website yet.

EE (UK) — The 4G-centric network will have the M8 on sale online and via telesales tomorrow, March 26, and in stores on March 27. Customers buying on a £37.99/pm "Extra" plan (£29.99 upfront cost) before April 10 will receive twice the amount of data of EE’s standard 4G plans — taking their monthly limit up to 4GB — for the duration of their contract. To sweeten the deal, EE is also offering customers who buy online between March 28 and April 10 free return flights to one of 12 European destinations.
It's up on Clove to order.

Has anyone had any experiences with buying from Mobile Fun before? Just found this offer, and i'm up for paying the £50 Extra for the 32GB model if indeed it is genuine.
Just wondering if they've listed 32GB as an accident? Possibly...

Bought plenty of accessories, never a phone. Always been fine, though
why do handtec and clove not have 32gb anywhere but in US almost all the models sold are 32gb?
Liking the look of it.
Tried sense 6 on my M7 and im liking that too, never been a massive fan of sense!
Can I justify forking out the cash to update. Undecided! :/
i just walked into phones4u and got one tonight
I've had experience when the One X+ came out that there were barely any 32gb versions available in the UK. I think it must be a conspiracy?! Lol
I have the M7 and want the M8

Yeah. I'm going there to get mine tomorrow too....can't wait ? still can't understand why we only get the 16GB edition though.
Reminds me of the HTC HD2. US got the 1GB version, while the UK only got 512MB versions.
