You can find your answer if you use "Search" in Google for example but i will help you (you will need SDK for the adb tool)
1. Open an command MS-DOS
2. Go to your SDK/tools
4. Boot your phone in Recovery mode
5. Mount your /system/
6. Type "adb push c:\directory where is my framework-res.apk moded\framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk"
7. Reboot your phone and enjoy !

Does anyone know the Hex color of Honeycomb?. I am going to try and cook a battery percentage but I want the Honeycomb color from 100% to 50%.

Deodex+root for fw S5830XWKPN

new build that i can confirmed myself it works, fixed white bootscreen. do refer screenshots as proof.

requirement: obviously ur galaxy ace with fw S5830XWKPN installed
howto install: copy Update_Deodex_Root_S5830XWKPN_Signed.zip to ur microsd card, and just flash via default recovery.
howto install this and still got latest cfroot b80 kernel support:
1- flash my Update_Deodex_Root_S5830XWKPN_Signed.zip zip package via default recovery.
2- flash CF-Root-S5830-v3.7-b78_recovery.zip via default recovery.
3- flash CF-Root-S5830-v3.7-b80_boot.zip via cwm.
issue: doesnt work if u flash this via cwm. see above.

afaik, cfroot never included deodex, incuding the latest b80 for S5830XWKPN.

Not working! update installed but phone still not rooted.

I manage to flash, i mount system, but stuck at white boot animation. If flashed not mounting system it will boot but nothing happens not rooted,no user.

yeah. my phone is rooted. i have the superuser app.
what i did was flash XWKPN through odin. flash cf-root b78 through odin. flash cf-root b80 through cwm. then flash update.zip through cwm.

hmm. seems like u guys got alot of problem using this one. i just create another one, this one comfirmed to work on a virgin install of XWKPN. and also i've fixed white flashed bootscreen problem. uploading as we speak.. maybe will finish upload in a hour or so because my connection speed not as godspeed as u guys

About the tool:
This is a very basic batch script and I haven't changed it to .exe for reference purposes. When you port a ROM most chances are bootloops.:crying: It really makes us sad...so this is a simple tool that will copy a main file libandroid_runtime.so and most chances are the bootloop will be gone by now

How to use?
-> Well it's really easy to do. Windows users just click bootloop.bat and follow the on-screen instructions. It won't take long
-> Linux users download the file and keep in /home/username/ (~/) directory. Then open terminal and type :

In some cases this doesn't seem to work so if that doesn't works then open terminal and type:

bash ~/br.sh
This will work! :victory: Now follow the on-screen instructions and enjoy :good:

How to use it:

I tried to have fun with patchrom but have too old laptop ( has not enough ram ).
So it just copying all the files or also patching frameworks?
You know what I mean. That we need the same manufacturer rom with the same base not?
For example rom is based on cm10 and I want to port to base AOSP. So will this work or not?

Nopes that's the main prob for now...framework editing is not possible through this script thus u will have to urself patch the framework

Destination folder has to begin with: /sdcard/
