G-Sensor games? - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

Hello! Any recommendations for G-Sensor games? I like the teeter game that comes with the phone, but would love a few more. Free or pay, whichever.
Thanks!
Jamie

Games
Need For Speed Undercover, Resco Snake, PDA Bowling, Extrakt and Shoot Me if a fun app to play around with using G-Sensor I have about 75 games but I know only these with G-Sensor...Would be glad myself to find out if there are more

Ballrush Aqua, Marble Worlds 2 are two more...
I like Teeter as well, but I cannot get past the damn last level.

I have also Asphalt 4 elite racing hd from gameloft.

I just had to post... after 459 tries I got past the last level! I thought it would have been something special like when mario saves the princess but it wasnt. It was quite the disappointment

Yeah, I think I gave up 430 times before you.. I've gotten sooo close a few times but there's just no 'resting', you have to keep perfect controlled movement the whole time on that one.

Actually it a bit more easier than some previous level for me. Did it after 50+ try
Hint: Next to the L shape where you can rest the ball, there is a big gap between the holes. Once you got through the gap the ball should be at the bottom on the screen and no more holes to stop you.

Guys, this is not a place to chat. PM each other or join a blog about that game. This thread is intended for listing G-Sensor games...Now, bellow you can find my G-Sensor games. Requested by @Stisse

anymore interesting g-sensor games...=)

Prince of persia HD WVGA 201 GSENSOR SUPPORT
Requirements: 6.1 ABOVE

i know it's not a g-sensor game but i've been looking for a game from iphone called "blue block", similiar to a wm game called "rushhour" instead of cars it's blocks but that doesn't support wvga phones...
anyone know if there is an app for this?

Best strategy game for a VGA display?

Two of my favorite games on PDA devices of all time were Slay, and Hex Wars.
I took a very quick look at Wargus, but the thing seemed quite slow, and the mouse cursor was out of alignment which I found irritating.
Simple games like Slay, and on the Palm, a game called Hex Wars were fantastic, and very involving, even though they were very simple. I like games that you can stop and start when you have a few minutes to kill. Realtime strategy games require more time to devote to them, so I never end up getting into them anymore.
So, what is good for a VGA display? Are there any turn based games anymore?
UFO
I just found "UFO: enemy unknown"
Wow, I feel 10 years younger now
lol, I gotta get that! link me!
I bought Pocket Slay yesterday, takes me back a few years, but it's still great fun
I love Slay. Had to not buy it just to retain my sanity and some time for programming lol.
However, Gears of Wars unfortunately beckons...

Heh i found SPB AirIslands real fun. Although its not really strategy and its QVGA. VGA I am going to try Slay as you say Alan. Also would you know of any other games? Age of Empires? Warcraft 3 lol i wonder if they make that for ppc. Slay sounds really like a brutal game. anyone know of GunBound? How about that really old school game WOLF 3D? Any car racing games like NFSCarbon. Wait now that i think of it my PSP has NFS Carbon. Maybe if we could install a game in the SD card and emulate it? Emulators anyone? I will donate the games if the emulator is ready.
Also has anyone tried mcafee antivirus on their ppc? I am wondering myself as to which antivirus should i choose. So far I havent had any problems on my ppc related to virus.

Is the island bigger in VGA mode. I find that everything is really cramped up in QVGA mode. I finished the game in 25 airisland days and i got freecell copy free. But it asked me if i want to continue with current island or make another island and i chose to make another island. How can i go back to the island i already finished? Is it gone deleted?

I only have the VGA version so I can't really tell you how it compares to the QVGA one. And unfortunately I haven't had it very long myself so I'm still on my first island and can't answer the other question either. It's always kind of looked like each island is one "play" of the game, so I was expecting to just move on from one to another. That's just my impression though since I haven't gotten to that point yet. They do have a website for the game itself (http://www.spbairislands.com/) that has a forum too, so maybe the answer can be found there.

I like games like SPB AirIslands and Age of empires Warcraft 3 WoW etc. I also prefer first person shooter games and tactical warfare. heh right now i only have Arkball 2 installed on my ppc. Its really fun, just keep going and see how far you can go.
So anyone know of any other good games?
So, you need real strategy (preferably Risk / Stratego / 15-20-year-old C64/Amiga SSI strategy-likes) games?
Read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=287321 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=286689 for some more games (Warring Nations, Add-Venture , more info on Sean O'Connor's games, Napoleonix).
The first and the last even uses high-res on VGA devices
Would anyone know of any way of emulating psp or nintendo ds games or using a bluetooth game controller?

Come on - the current Pocket PC has problems even with emulating 12-year-old technoloy (PS One), and you want it to run games developed for current technology (PSP)?
It's like emulating an Amiga on a C64
i agree that it can't be done, but psp is not current technology.
half the games are psone ports!
So i believe that SLAY is the best game to play on the PPC?
It's subjective, personally I hated pacman, but it was the most popular game at one time.
Feel free to get your own opinions on what you like, and try things for yourself.

From personal opinion i like expensive/costly, takes up a lot of space and uses a lot of memory, excellent graphics and sound,
Thats the type of games i like. Any games out there for my Universal? Money is not a problem really.
Hi,
I have Age of Empires on my M5000 - It hasnt and probably wont be updated in a long time so isnt really WM5 compatible, however it runs fine with the only issue being memory leaks. It pays to save regularly as as some point during a long session the game may freeze due to lack of memory.
Warring Nations has a VGA version and is a very good turn based strategy game with additional maps available to download.
Favourites for me are Bejeweled2, Gamebox Solitaire, Sim City 2000, Pocket Sudoku, Jewel Hunter, Raging Thunder, Shanghai (Landware's) SkyForce, Skyforce Reloaded and Zuma.

Gaming-wise, it's very cool. However, it certainly lacks hi-res VGA support, multiplayer and music. That is, I'd definitely give a try to alternatives - see my games reviews here in the General forum.

Why is the Iphone killing the Diamond in number of available G-sensor apps??

The Diamond is clearly a superior product to the Iphone (with the exception of the Iphone having more screen real estate). Everytime I turn around, my Iphone-toting colleagues have downloaded a new game from the App Store that uses the accelerometer (g-sensor), and they're really nice games with really nice graphics! I have to pretend not to be jealous of the selection they have at their disposal.
So with all the talent and dedicated WinMo people here, why do you guys think there are only 10+ games for the Diamond? Do you think the revenue that can be made through the Apple App Store is driving higher production for games? Maybe the Iphone is more of a "toy" to some folks and the Diamond is more of an enterprise tool? (Mine is both a toy AND an office tool!)
I love my Diamond... just wish there were some more cool games (like Super Monkey Ball ) that I could get for it!
And yes, if I had one shred of coding skill to my name, I'd start doing it myself... but I don't. The apps that have come out so far though for the Diamond are awesome. Keep 'em coming guys!
I think there are a few things.
1) More iPhones sold - Must be around 10 million vs only maybe 2.5 million Diamonds.
2) The iPhone actually officially supports the G-Sensor, vs the Diamond's API not being officially released.
3) More excitement around the iPhone as a toy.
However, I am in contact with Winplay, and they have said:
Hi ************
Yes, we are working on several games that will take advantage of the accelerometers in devices such as the HTC Touch Diamond… Lots of cool stuff coming out shortly…

Yeah, what they said.
Plus, they had that open SDK project going for sometime before it was actually released and developers were smart enough to know, that anything Steve Jobs is excited about, will sale like hotcakes, thus the opportunity for ton's of money.
That's great news! Thanks!
Marketing. Lots and lots of marketing.
I have the diamond and my husband has the iphone. My very gadgety 6-year-old son loved the diamond when he first saw the teeter game. But then the iphone was brought home and even my not-so-keen 4-year-old daughter kept saying she wanted to play "cowabunga" (a very colorful free game from iphone). My son of course was hooked on the car racing game that we downloaded. So far, he just said once that the wallpaper on my diamond was pretty and he didn't play teeter anymore (probably it's not as colorful ).
So conclusion, iphone is much more like a toy than the diamond.
BTW, a side issue. I noticed that iphone's power management is superb compared to diamond. Iphone can last over 2 days with wifi and bluetooth on ALL THE TIME and some games and moderate use. I can't keep my wifi on for my diamond for more than 2 hours.... as I know it can't even last for half day if I do so. And yes, bluetooth on iphone is only an icon on the screen without any use. I kept it on just to show to my husband that it's useless. It's undiscoverable, unpairable..... even its very dear brother Mac book can't make any use with it.
Yes, don't worry. I am still in love with my diamond.
If you want to win your kid over, here are a small collection of games on the diamond he may be interested in.

I still believe that diamond is a more powerful device but with respect to games.... I have to admit that diamond can't win over my kids. I am a bit embarrassed to show the kids those diamond "games", when they can touch and scare the fish in "Koi Pond", or having silly fun with bouncing and falling cows that moo, or driving BMW or Mercedez like crazy in LA street... Yeah yeah, I know unbelievable, but you have to see to admit (go to youtube and take a look at "Koi Pond", "Cowabunga", "Asphalt 4").
Asphalt 4 for is available for Windows mobile too, so it should work on your diamond?
it is not only the Gsen - but for sure screen size and how you "hold" the phones.
I will never ever buy aniPhone, but I do believe it is easier to play Gsen games on it. Kids +6 can not be fooled
no wonder why, have you checked the beer apps on the diamond? I dont mean to offence anyone but its like running at 2fps. And compared to the iphone its [email protected]
Etc....

I agree completely. Wish it looked more realistic like the Iphone one. But then again, it's not a make-or-break app for me.
If you really like games ! use a psp or nintendo ds. I also have an iphone and
the diamond . Playing games on the iphone is pain in the ass
hi
Keep in mind also the Diamond is relatively new compared iSuck phones, the diamond just hit the US market a few weeks now so its like the word hasent gotten arround to dev about the Diamond as yet, which would relate to what ppl say about marketing, htc hasent really put the diamond in the US yet.
Also imo the iphone is eye candy and that all it will ever be, the diamond on the other hand is all round mostly for seriouse customers for business and what not.

Its so out of the element.
We all know the ifhone sucks ballzzzz.
And its not only the "functions" of the phone.
We are talking about you being represented by the kindo phone you choose.
I'm terribly sorry to say this but....
I dont like people that choose a fagphone as a first phone and actually go ahead and show it of!
-When ever a nerd shows of his fruitphne in y presence I just think "ya dude you and another billion of sheeps got the same no big deal"
On the other hand we as Diamond users took the dip because we rather have "bugs" (which I dont because WinMob works like a swiss watch) than fall in the pleasing of the crowds as rotten fruit likes!
Remember Felllassss Second best they are!
Sorry if i pizzz of some people but some one has to do it!
Greetings to all.
PS:Forgot:
1. I rather have less "estate" but a VGA screen. Not a dirty 320 by 480 or what ever it has.
2. What ever your "mates" downloaded from a insanely proprietary site has a high chance of being payed for.(obviosly not Jewels case) I like to call it open source.
3. The Diamond is been out for less than year. The ugly fruit is on its "second" gen (same crap).
4.I run a buissness on my own and manage t do a lot through the Diamond and WinMobs awsome connection capabilitys. (those fruitys cant even FTP Bluetooth!)

I'll put this in my own words middle of night and i cant get techinal.. "Apple = for beginners, Windows = Advanced users who like to have things run the way they want it too, when apple runs things their way, and u r stuck with it." >.>
the iphone has been out for more then a year now with an SDK package for developers, plus a lot of marketing. The diamond is still a baby, and also not even released in US in full potential. With MS building a app repository service and the diamond + touch pro getting more user base, I have the very confidence that we'll be seeing a lot of applications utilizing the G sensor in either utilities or gaming. I mean the things that marvels us already are the g sensor alarm clocks, locking mechinisms and the full ability to use gsen to redraw the screen in any orientation, something the iphone cannot do.
All I can say is give it time, with now the hardware standards rising for windows mobile, you can totally bet that there's going to be pleanty of applications out there utilizing the new technology.

don't forget the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys
I hate it when people say the Diamond is for the business user. I don't use it for business i bought the phone coz it looked good and had some cool features.
What is everyones problem. As soon as somebody requests a game or app that the iphone has you all cry like babies saying fuk your gayphone and all that ****. I'm starting to get worried coz the "Gayphone" has games in nearly every category so looks like we're not gonna get left with many.

Best HD2 game?

dudes
what's the best hd2 game in your mind? im quite caught up on electopia and teeter i havent tried fpseCE yet though...so do tell
Not really a HD2 game, but Flight Commander definitely is the most addicting game.
Electopia looks like it may be fun but is still just a demo at this point. Xtrakt and Experiment13 are both fun.
CrayonPhysics is by far the most addictive game i've played on hd2
Electopia has sweet graphics... Pretty good gameplay too.
I have just got Crayon Physics, haven't tried it yet tho.
i heard about experiment13 but have yet to get it, im definitely giving it a go...i saw gameplay for tekken 3 of fpsece and it looks mindblowing...problem is the user controls are a bit funky cos there's no keypad per se..
experiment13

Try Xtract...genius fast-paced racer/shooter/futuristic/robotic thing LOL.
FPSECE of course!
(I know that's not a game )
Crayon Physics
Also not a game but Morphgear to play all the old snes games
Are you a Quake game?
I was quite impressed with "age of empires" RTS game, had it on the orbit 2 and it played pretty well. Dont know if the HD2 will though as is multitouch, wonder if anyone has managed to see it on the HD2 yet....
search: Age of Empires Gold Edition for Pocket PC
The spectrum emulator at http://pocketclive.emuunlim.com/ offers you the opportunity to not only play retro games, but also to write such classic high powered apps as:
Code:
10 PRINT "John"
20 GOTO 10
Who needs PSX emulators when you can do that!!! lol
Crayon Physics is top of my list!
I'd quite like to see Crush the Castle on WM, there is an iphone version.
the web version is an swf at armorgames.com
Been trying to get this running on the HD2 to no avail.
The supporter version of FpseCE and Tekken 3 is epic. Multitouch is running nicely and the on screen buttons are surprisingly nice to use! The only downside is that in Tekken they are invisible even with the overlays.

fpsece was one of the reasons I really wanted a HD2.... what other phone can you play playstation games at full speed with multi-touch onscreen controls. Just so you know... you need the supporter version to get multi-touch capable version. It's worth it if you have a HD2, though.
still, the lack of NATIVE games is present. Sure the games can be emulated but hey, is that really all there is? If I look at my girlfriends iPhone and what she has available and if I then look at the quality it really pains me that WM is such a pain in the ass, sometimes. Not that I'll ever switch to Apple, Apple is evil, but what developers for WM deliver to us is really poor, regarding games!

Sadly the game support for the HD2 is not great. It's made worse by the fact that a lot of the games don't work well on a capacitive screen with it limitations when compared to a resistive screen + stylus.
It's also odd that Android SH!Ts all over Windows Mobile when it comes to gaming. Not sure why because there are some. Add that to the general restrictions of MS and WM and it's not looking good for WM.
I'm selling my HD2 and got myself a Milestone in the interim. I'll miss the huge screen and TomTom but Android is lightyears ahead of WM. And as a bonus I can also have more than one active sync account with push enabled....YES!
There is no limited games on HD2...

Experiemnt13
Crayon Physics
G-Invaders
Galaxy Hopper

Kiwi
Pocket Mini Golf
Prince of Persia
Sonic Racing
Spinballs
Splinter Cell Conviction
Tripplix

I agree that there isnt a huge amount of choice when it comes to games that run natively on windows mobile. But of what there is available... a higher percentage is quality compared to other platforms.
I can add to the list above:
Spore
Tiger Woods Golf
Zen Table Tennis
Xtrakt
Celeris Virtual Pool
Warfare Inc
Mini Golf Wacky Worlds
Pangya
Electopia Demo
Boom Blox
Dragonball
Crazy Taxi
Deer Hunter 3D
Monopoly Here and Now
Need for Speed Undercover
Assasins Creed 2
Warcraft 2
Shootin Gallery Lite
Asphalt 4 HD
I had a supporter version of fpsece, it's really great. But I have played all the PS1 games that I'm interested in the past, so I still feel the lack of games

You have an x ray in front of you. Passenger's walk thriugh and have red items and green items. Red items are bad green our good. Swipe the red items to take them from them. Collect as many as you can in one go to get combos. Beleave me it gets very hard. Oh and there are two teams you can join....androud or...,apple. Scores are constantly updated at the main title screen. Its my new favorite game.

Cheers, shall try it
Best game for me by far is Pinball Arcade. This "game" is a simulation of some of the most popular real life pinball machines that were distributed all over the world from multiple manufacturers.
I've been involved with Pinball games for years both real and virtual and I can tell you the physics and gameplay on this simulation is very very good. To put it truthfully there are guys that have been trying to emulate these real life pinball games for years over at VPForums that haven't come even close to this quality. For a guy that has played these particular games in real life and in multiple formats virtually ( thanks to VPforums ) this is as close as it gets to having the ultimate pinball fix. Plays fantastic on the nexus7. Don't let the price of the tables sway you they are worth every dime, you can tell someone spent a whole lot of time on these to make sure they play just like the real thing.

Dude you made my day with this post.
I already had 22 of what I consider to be the top-notch games on my Nexus 7 (which I've only owned for about 6 days now) and I thought I was pretty much done with what was available in the Play Store. Until you posted.. I've already bought four tables and I'm sure I'm going to buy the rest.
