Ok, Been tweaking my Diamond a bit now, and just got this screen left that I can't for the life of me find out how to change either the background or text colour.
I was ale to change the Background of the title with 18d67959_manila...but I am just left with the text or background.
Anyone know how or what to edit for this?
no one know this?

Does anyone know of a way to change the colour of the titlebar icons (speaker, signal strength, clock etc.)? I would like to be able to use a white titlebar background colour, but to do this I would need to change the icon colours to black (or something else dark).
I've looked around all over the place and the only help I can find is how to change the 'Start' text colour, not the icons.
Any help would be appreciated.
I don't think it can be done. I had the same idea and spent quite a while trying to figure it out, registry and themes, but I've never seen anything that would do it.
Please drop me a line if you figure it out!
I think most people would just use WISBar to achieve the same effect.

I was afraid that was going to be the answer
I have been using WisBar with an OS X theme and it looks really good but appears to slow everything down a bit. Oh well, at least I know to stop looking.
Cheers.
Hey guys,
Just got my today screen all setup with a black setup (top and bottom bars as well), but for some reason the messaging window (outlook or texting) is full of a bunch of horizontal black and white bars unless the item is highlighted.
Anyone know whats up?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
sounds like a setting on the theme generator you use. lines are probably the same on the notes menu also.
there seems to be two colours used on the messaging/notes menu, full of horizontal lines. you should be able to change them on your theme generator, i could when i had the same problem after creting a theme.
change both settings (usually notes/ msg colour 1/ to the same colour, this will sort it.
Have a good look through the wiki, almost all colours are detailed there, or use a better theme editor.

Pardon my ignorance but what is the wiki?
What theme editor do you guys recommend?
Changing 36 to 37 fixed the CONTACTS background but not the Notes/Messaging
Hello,
Is there any registry tweak or something like that to change the background of contacts window? That horizontal lines are ugly and make the names almost illegible .. specialy with true type fonts enabled.
Thanks
Hello hello,
I think the setting for those lines is included in your today theme. Take a look at this software:
http://www.thememaker.biz/tmx.aspx
Lets you change some internal colors like the bars, and also the color of circles that pop up when you tap and hold. Hope this helps.
Fantastic! I have no idea that the bars in Contacts, Tasks etc background had something to do with the settings of the theme but is precisely that.
Much appreciated for your help. It's solved now
Sorry again for my poor english
No problem. Those lines are especially annoying when they overlap with contacts/messages. Glad I could help.
I used a picture wallpaper with bright background. This make the calendar appointment text line greyed out in color and barely recognizable. So I'd like to change the color. I have HTC touch diamond. Does anyone know which line and which manila file I should edit?
Yup! I'd like to do the same....
So I'm giving some life to this topic.
Thanks in advance.

Hello! I am having a problem with the brightness of my Start Menu background. I am using the same background as on my today screen, and on the today screen its much brighter than on my Start Menu screen. Can anyone help me? =)
This is because of a transparent layer which lies over the background picture. It is supposed to make your icons better readable. Dont think that there is an easy workaround for this....
