Hy, try this " S2V " not with autorote, but it's touch screen and you can rotate the picture with your finger. It's works very well on my Htc Touch Diamond

Ok, MDA Pro newbie here, as you can see...
On the good old MDA III there was a servicable Photo Album that let you rotate pictures, and view them full screen etc. The "Pictures&Video" on the MDA Pro is wholly inadequate for that, none of them functions seem to be there, unless I missed them all...
Am I right? Is the Album somewhere else where I didn't see it? Should I get a different picture viewer altogether, and if yes, which?
THAAAANKS!
Anyone?
It's called "Pictures and Videos" and is standard with WM5

its gone.
i use resco photo viewer, bit resource hungry, but far more powerful.
...and There is NO Photo Album, Caller ID, & Xbackup on Universal...
After having used this machine for 3 weeks now I find it really annoying that so many tried and tested things have changed for the worse, this being just the one.
Since you seem to have pictures&video then all you really need to do is learn how to use it again. The pictures&video app (at least on my MDA pro) can do pretty much everything you're looking from it. To rotate a picture, open it, tap menu - edit and on the editor screen tap rotate at the bottom left. To view a picture full screen select it, tap menu - "play slide show", then tap the screen and hit the pause button to stop it from moving on to the next picture. If the slideshow shot is the wrong orentation for you then you can change that in the slide show options (set for portrait mode by default but you can select landscape as the default). You can even crop your pictures in the editor or have it autocorrect for colour and exposure.
XnView
You can also use XnView. it's free and very performant.

Hi, is there a way to add a link in the start menu to rotate the screen in landscape ? Something direct, so for example you are looking a word document or a pdf, and you just have to press start and "rotate link" to switch to landscape ?
Something light... without anything running background... and no windows to open to get the screen rotated.
This is for the htc diamond.

hasn't advanced config got a parameter to rotate?
htc has a homeplug cab for the today screen that has 1 option to rotate screen 90 degrees every time you select it

Use the RotateScreen.exe in the zip file i attached
Thanx for your answer
For the htc homeplug, i had this on my artemis but on the diamond with the touchflo3D i cannot have the htc home...
And for advanced config. there are some option for the screen rotation, but if i had to launch advance config. and reboot after changing a parameter, i'd rather go to the parametres of windows
I'll give a try to your progs tomoffel

Thank you ! The .exe for rotating the screen is cool.. i just have one more question : i'm trying to put a link in the start menu to that .exe file... but what is the number at the begining of the link file :
For example i got this one for jbed :
59#"\Stockage interne\Program Files\Opera Mini\AppDB\jbed.exe"
So i wanted to put :
59#"\Stockage interne\Program Files\RotateScreen\rotatescreen.exe"
but is there a problem with the number at beginning being the same. ( sorry for my ignorance... )

Hi all, there's a way to automatically change the screen orientation when i open a determined program?
I'm not asking something like gravity sensor, only an automatic way to rotate the screen when lauching a program, i think there may be a program wich can do that, but i can't find it...
Does anyone know something about it?
Thanks and excuse me for my bad english.
yes, i saw that function in tess + sp, its working with a mortscript for rotating the screen before running the program and geting it back to normal after the program finishes.
U can also use Wisbar Advanced Desktop (WAD) its a great soft with some many customizations !
Thanks!
I used MortScript, WAD is not free as i can see, and i need only the rotation, not the "shell" :\
Hi, I am the new owner of a touch hd and wanted to know what my best option was for landscape texting and if their was any auto-rotate landscape texting available? even if their is no auto-rotate, can anyone direct me to my best option for landscape texting? thanks
Derrick
Hi !! 24 hours HD owner and I adore it. Actually I found a cool application called Gyrator2 , it switches to landscape and rotate screen depending on how you hold the device ( like iphone ). Check it : http://gyrator.brins0.net/?page=downloads
you can try the new GSen from the Touch Pro 2: http://www.fuzemobility.com/gsen-now-enabled-in-more-apps/
you can add individual applications to the list as well but it works on most applications without any need to add more: http://www.mobilitydigest.com/gain-more-control-of-the-gsen-apps-tp2-edition/
I've used this on a Touch HD and it works
I have tried gsen.
At the moment im am using Dutty's 2.1 Extreme ROM and far as i know manilla should work in lanscape too.
Rotating Manilla seems to be disabled in gsen and i read that i need to add some registry keys in HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\.
I dont really understand how that keys need to look like to make it work. Does anyone else had success?
Edit:
Just found out how it works.
You could also try ChangeScreen...
You could also try ChangeScreen which is my personal favourite as I find it easier to configure than Gyrator:
