WM6.1 Pro for 565 ROM TEST 1

First I need to say is that my English is very POOR, maybe it will take some mistakes,please pardon me.I am only a senior students from China.

This is a version of Test,the resolution ratio wasn't fit for QQVGA. expect for expert fix.

This is nice and all but will there even be a pocketPC software which supports QQVGA (176x220)resolution?

Some advice please on ROMs

Hi there,
Hope this is the correct place to post. I have had a quick look through the various roms available and wondered if someone could advise me which rom looks and functions closest to that of the Diamond?

why don't you have a glance at the Diamond section of this site?
After reading comments you will become an expert.
I do not think anybody would take a responsibility to advice you unless you do it yourself by reading.
That is my humble counsel.

Thanks for the advice. I had a look at the Diamond fourm but most of the information seemed to be directed at Diamond owners. I have an XDA Oribt 2 which I want to make look like the Diamond.

Most of the Roms come with images to show you what the end product looks like. As the user previously wrote, its best to take a peek at them to find the one you want.

It might be closer to what you're looking for? Again, a suggestion and not a recommendation as theres no one rom that suits all.

That looks like what I'm looking for.
Just noticed that you were using different 3d drivers. I have seen the thead with the comparisons but after installing drivers before the rom update they didn't seem to have any effect on spb benchmark.
Any reccomendations there?

You wont see many differences benchmark-wise I doubt, but I have noticed the general use of the phone is smoother - definitely in everyday use and faster in some heavier apps and games.

Hoping i can get some advice/help, ive just got a new touch hd over the weekend. Ive never used windows mobile, and this is my first smartphone, so im basically after as much feedback on what best/worst things to get for my new toy so i can enjoy it even more.

Best advice I can offer you is just to get used to your device. Get the feel of it and play with it. Once you have done this, then read the wiki so you understand more.
If after all of this you feel you want to change anything, do a search for it first, read up on it and then try it out.
There are plenty of apps/software/games/themes available for you to install on your HD. Apps/software & games which work on the HD can also be found in the wiki as well as in the software forum.
You can also change roms (operating system), but you will need to do some research on this first. Guide to flashing roms can be found here.
The most important thing of all is to research & read before trying anything. If your unsure of anything on any particular topic, ask your question within that relevant thread

Hello everyone. I'm new to the SGS2 board on XDA but maybe some of you know me from the HTC Hero board. I hope i'll get my SGS2 soon (3.6.2011!?) but i already started my project.

[Q] Angry Birds on Android low performance

Hi i got small problem. I was searching for topic with this but didn't find so if any 1 know something about this please tell me about it !
So... I have android on my HTC Touch HD when i wanted to start Angry birds i have main logo "Rovia,Revio or smg like this" and the game shut down. When i start AB Rio the game have 1Frame per second. I saw on youtube films where AB was running smooth better than HTC Magic
So any1 know how to make it run smooth? Maybe i should change my Android version? (Have 2.3.3)

First of all, what Android are you using? (XDAndroid, NeoFroyo etc.)
Secondly, blackstone Android development on XDA is dead - I recommend visiting neopeek.com for Android development on HTC Blackstone.

I don't think that is true. I downloaded a gingerbread package for the Blackstone wich seems to be made in January.

nixolz i am using this ROM with no sound and Angry Birds not working smooth : (

Try Angry Birds Lite. I heard that you have to have a minimum version of Open GL (not sure what version) to run the regular Angry Birds.
