hello everybody..i recently bought HTC HD2 and today i started exploring the registry tweaks..and finally today i made some changes to the camera...after doing some changes i did soft reset and my LED flash is not working ...the flash toggle button is not working....cant change that to auto or on mode...please help me how to fix it..

Hi there, I just bought hd2 (I had touch hd before) and I have d same problem - led is not working at all. Battery 100%. I have done: soft reset, hard reset, roms from miri, dutty, .. no change
..any ideas?

Not sure about the last redded part, maybe you shouldn't ?
I did that, nothing happened - leds are still off
It should work, I had this problem with all ROMS. On each ROM I had to tweak that registery and go into camera and everything is fine. Once rebooted you have to do it again ( I assume )
So try doing it without soft-resetting
ok, now after tweaking registry - I go to camera and the flash button is there but unavailable. Flash led still not working. (((

Hello Everyone,
I have a Cingular 8125 with the original 2.25ROM. Every once in a while (about once a day), when I try to press the power button to return my phone from standby, the screen will not light. The green LED light showing that the phone is powered on still keeps blinking, but the screen will not turn on, and I have to soft reset my phone with the reset button on the side, or remove the battery in orer to get my phone back working.
I have done a hard reset and this problem has not changed. Does anyone have this problem, or seen a fix for it? I am thinking it might be a problem with some of the reg tweaks I have done, or with a program.
The problem programs I am thinking may be contributing to this are Wisbar Advance due to memory leaks, or PPCProfilesPRO. The only real reg tweaks I have done are Molski's Customizing tweaks and the A2DP hack. Could it be a hardware issue? Any help would be much appriciated.

Sorry I cannot help more, but I remember Wisbar Advance doing that to my h6315 WM2003 based device. Then again, it would sometimes do it on it's own too (but very rarely w/o W.A). I hacked it to make A2DP work, and it did not cause such problems on it... but again, totally different device, but similar CPU.

1.My Hermes is stop responding aftr few minutes when I`m not using it. (Touch screen and hardware buton alsow are not working.
Only way to get it working back is reset using a stylus.
Leds`s are alsow stop flashing.
2. When scereen is "on" I hear silent beeeeeee....... - is this normal?
I have try to put few different ROM`s on it, but problem is still the same.
Can anybody help me to sort it?

There are some tips and tricks to stop freezing and hanging. One key one is to put it into sleep mode yourself by pressing the power key NOT let it go into sleep mode by itself. Aside from that have you tried the things mentioned here:

I have put a light rom, there is no additional software in. Ihave also put a new batery, make test with pocket mechanic - get no more ideas. If I swith on hermes in safety mode problem is exactly the same. Sometimes system is stop responding directly after swith on, sometimes it`s take few or about 20 minutes.
Any ideas?
You could try a Hard Reset or changing the rom. Remember to back up everything first, I'd do both a contacts backup and a full backup. That way if you still have the problem after the full backup you can try a HR again but setup everything from scratch.
It may be bad blocks, so you should use MTTY to check this.
If you do decide to upgrade the rom, MAKE SURE YOU HARD SPL 1ST.....

Anyone experienced a problem like this: after flashing several roms (including the WM5 stock version) the soft keys are not working properly. In fact, they are working but first I have to push the Win key. If the screen was off, then the first also has to be the Win key, then all soft keys are working.
Also, the Camera starts automaticly, and what is more interesting, makes some pictures without any manual input...
Let's give me some idea, since I'm going to crazy about this. I tried to flash a few roms, with or without Touchflow, I played a lot with battery, but I lost my hope to solve this....

The most frequent issue here (I learnt through a thread like this):
Your battery has dropped most probably below 20%.
Charge, and if there is no defect, it should work again.
maybe you are using a battery that HD2 doesnt recognize.
you have to change the registry:
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Battery\FlashLightPowerUnavailable
change from 1 to 0

I have another problem, my camera recently takes photos that has faded horizontal stripes, it was working fine before, what's the problem??

My hd2 has fallen yesterday, and now i have noticed the keypad lights wont turn off :-(
the device goes to stand by mode fine, screen is off, but the keypad stays on.
any ideas, what could happen? Has anyone had this problem??

I now have the same problem. Did you manage to fix it? If yes can you please let me know how did you fix it. Mine is giving the same problem and I didn't even drop it

@Don001: Tried Hard Reset including flashing back stock ROM and trying every available update of Energy ROM. Didn't work . Is there any app like KeyLedControl that does the opposite....instead of keeping the lights on....switches it off instead? Mine is always on....and never switches off.
Tried to google it and someone suggested that the phone needs a bit of cleaning but...I saw the videos to disassemble....man that's hard
Any other suggestions?

i have the problem that my keypad flashes constantly since i installed a custom rom

One of the phone repairers suggested Chemical Cleaning. Not sure if it is going to fix it though...Going to give it a try. Will see how it goes
My HD2 has started to do this since yesterday too.
The keypads stay on but do very slighly dim but still on all nite, killing my battery!!
