What is this thing please !?

Hi all,
I have a Dot or a small Square on the top left of my screen !
What is it ? and how can I get rid of it ?
There was no program running in the task manager when I took the screenshot, see it in the attachment.

Soft reset get rid of it?

I have it too on Itje´s 6.5, i think it comes from the new panel manager.

No it don't, and it is not there all the time, is comes and goes !

I'm using Itje´s 4.5 rom, but I think I had it also in the original R2A UK rom.

I suspect it has got something to do with Finger Keyboard 2. I have the square too but only in landscape mode. See if you can get rid of the square by changing the SIP to some other keyboard.

I see you're using Gtrab's taskbar, perhaps that has something to do with it?

No its not, it was there before.

Yesssssss ! thats it !!
When I clicked on it now the letter "q" from the Finger Keyboard 2 appeared in the bottom of the screen !
Now how can we fix this? I like Finger Keyboard 2 !

i have finger keyboard 2 and gtrab's "F" series icons.

Its Finger Keyboard 2.
Can any one help as with a Fix for this?

Windows slide unlock, Can you move it?

I like the windows slide to unlock feature.
But I hate the location of it? What's the point of putting it right at the top of the screen
If you've got the phone in your right hand it's almost impossible to slide it around (not that I'm complaining about the screen being too big )

I have the slider on the bottom of the screen. I installed 3 cabs for the lockscreen. One of these put the slider on the bottom of the screen. The 3 cabs I used are Dusk_6.5_Lockscreen_v3.0.CAB, HeartofWolf Lockscreen fix v4 transparent.cab and tommy34_fix_2_not_disappear_(W(Q))(Q)VGA.cab. Found them on htcpedia (heartofwolf you can find here http://htcpedia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=363)

OK, don't bother. I tried it and it looks good. Seems to do exactly what I want.

hmm, maybe can skip s2u2 then, since having not so big hand sliding all the way up with one hand was kinda hard

Why not use your right hand thumb to unlock it?
I can do it with no problem when I'm holding the HD2 in my right hand.

Wierd message cancel thing

Hi there just wondering if anyone had/has this problem and knows how to fix it. Basically when i go to reply to a text message by clicking on it (from inside TouchFlo) the keyboard appears, then dissapears. When i click on the box to type, the keyboard comes up, then jumps back down. I have to press the 'Keyboard' button when the keyboard is down (to bring it up) then type somthing (which doesn't appear) and then press space...to even start typing anything. It's really odd, i've tried re-flashing both stock and a few other ROM's...same wierd problem...anyone?

I also have the same problem. If i double tap a message from within touchflo there is no problem but if i tap it once i have the keyboard problem. It has been bugging me for a while as well! Although it's not major, if anyone has a fix it would be much appreciated.

haha it's really annoying the double clicking things doesnt work for me...anyone got a fix? also what rom are you running? thanks

talking to some of my friends, i've realised that this happens on general windows mobile, not just this phone, therefore i will re-post in order to gain more publicity. Thanks

Fortunately for me, everything is working fine, as in the manuals, even after using this set for over a year now. When I click "reply" from within TF, it automatically gives a text/message typing area and a keyboard area at the bottom half which stays there. I can drop the keyboard down (and up) by tapping (once) the keyboard icon at the bottom centre. no problem.

I just upgraded my ROM and the slider is hidden and pops up when you touch the little arrow. How can I get the slider to stay up all the time?

Just look in the first post of the thread where you downloaded your rom... the answer is right there... And I have been searching for... 10 sec. :s

How to change the lock screen?

Hi Guys.
Just received my Xperia X10 2 days ago, and one of the things I hate is the lock screen.
Coming from the HTC Magic, the fact that you have to swipe from bottom left to top right drives me nuts.
Is there any way to change this?

Yup, you can change to swipe from bottom right to top left.

I'm actually looking to replace the lock screen, not remove it completely.
I know 2 products that do this lockbot and lock.
I'd like to get users opinion on both, whether they work well on the X10 or if there is any better option.
