Nexus One with Blueant Z9 - Nexus One General

Has anyone had any luck pairing the Blueant Z9 with the Nexus One? I cannot get it to pair. I am running CM 5.0 Beta 3 and did not try to pair the Z9 with the N1 prior to rooting/modding.

Wah. I'm all alone. Wah.

Try updating your blueant w/ the included USB cable.
I ditched my blueant, that one button operation was not doing it for me.

I'm using my blueant z9 with firmware 4.0 with my nexus. Seems to be working fine.
I'm running stock un-rooted though since I didn't see any reason to root yet.

Droid x bluetooth in car issue

Posting for my boss, he just got a droid x and his car bluetooth won't work. He has a nissan altima. The bt will sputter in and out and never gets clear. Works fine with my dinc and an evo. 2 droid x's don't work. Anyone else have a similar issue or any ideas how to fix?

My X pairs up great with my Ford Sync. This is the first blue tooth phone that will let my sync read new text messages.
Might be just an issue work the bt and how the altima sees it. Any ideas Would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same exact issue with my Droid X and Altima. I just tested the phone with my Jawbone and it works fine, so it's definitely something with the Altima.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep the phone now.. very disappointing. If anyone has a solution please let me know.

Replace the Altima imo.. not the Droid.
Ha I had the same thought.
I found a work around on the Motorola Forums.. it's an issue with the Droid as well.
When you make or receive a call, click "Use Handset" on the screen in the car so that the call goes to the phone. After, hit the "Phone" button on the steering wheel. Now the call will be transferred back to the bluetooth, the sound will be clear and the other person will be able to hear you.

Hopefully the Froyo update will fix it. In the list of updates for Android 2.2 Froyo under the Bluetooth section, it says
Improved compatibility matrix with car kits and headsets

I actually just found the thread on it before checking this. I'll suggest this until an official fix. Thanks guys.

same with my DB-9 I think the bluetooth firmware needs to be updated.

Got my 920!!! Remember to tell reps about wireless charger they had no idea!!

So far so good, it seems to be more slick feeling than my 900. The weight feels relatively close so anyone that has had a 900 won't feel a difference. So far so good I haven't set it up yet because I need to sync my music on my work PC right quick.
Differences
The Black Color is very slick in hand compared to others.
Have you tried Bluetooth audio media streaming? I had problems with my 8x prerelease model

I mentioned the charger, but they didnt have any in stock. They did have the coupon code for it, so they took $50 off the phone price and then I did a 2nd purchase for $50 for the charger and they will mail it to my house. I got an email a few minutes ago saying it has shipped already.

Sure, I hope it's just unrelated being my car. Hoping it's an 8x pre release issue.

Is there any app simular to Sixaxis Controller?

Now that we have 4.2 in our Nexus 7, the Sixaxis Controller app doesn't work...
Is there another app to connect the ps3 controler? Or is there any fix for Sixaxis Controller?
Not sure if there are any similar alternatives, but I do know that the developer of the sixaxis app is working on a fix .

Doesn't seem to work for me. I've paired it using the MotionInJoy pair tool and every time I start up the Sixaxis Controller on the N7, it hangs at "Listening for controllers..."
I tried to pair it with the PC, so I connected my N7 to the PC and the Sixaxis controller to the PC as well. I installed the Sixaxis Pair Tool from the dev's website, and it just hangs at "searching..." regardless of whether MotionInJoy can see the very same controller or not.
I've used this tool before on my Motorola Atrix flawlessly, but the damn thing's fighting me on the N7.
I'm beginning to wonder if it's because I'm running Paranoid Android Beta 2.99. Or even worse, because I have a 32GB Nexus 7. I certainly hope not, because I just got done unlocking, and I spent so much time pimping it ooooooout.

I also have PA Beta 2.99 and I don't have this problem. It used to happen to me, the "searching..." problem. It solved when I change the connector of the Sixaxis and the PC. Maybe the one you're using is broken.
I don't think you have this problem because of having the 32Gb version of N7. Good Luck!
The latest versions don't need the PC anymore. Just use the sixaxis app and wire the PS3 pad to your Nexus 7 with a OTG cable + mini usb cable for the PS3 pad, then pair it directly from the app. This worked for me, since the PC method did not work no matter what I did, and has been working well with 4.2.1.

[Q] Bluetooth controllers and 4.2.2

My nyko playpad would not pair with my Nexus 7 on 4.2.1. Has anyone been able to pair theirs controllers after the update? I haven't been able to get the update yet. I read that there was a bluetooth audio fix in the update, not sure if this was covered. Thanks!

Why haven't you upgraded yours yet? The OTA link was released a couple days ago and the full system image was released yesterday.

Nexus 4 Bluetooth Problem

Perhaps it's just me being stupid, but no matter what I try, I can't get the bluetooth on my Nexus 4 to work.
If I try and send a file from my Nexus, it simply says "Bluetooth share: File [file name] not sent". If I try to send a file to my Nexus, from my laptop for example, my laptop simply cannot find my Nexus.
Obviously, the bluetooth is on and it's set to visible, but I just cannot transfer files to or from it. At first I thought it may have been a software issue and would be resolved with the latest 4.2.2 update, but it still doesn't work.
Any advice?
Bump.
Same problem here.
I received my N4 yesterday. I can't get the Bluetooth to work at all!
My Bluetooth headset is not visible, I can't share files with an other phone or PC.
I'm running Android 4.2.1.
I hope the lastest 4.2.2 is going to come quick and solve my problem.
EDIT 2:45 : I updated to 4.2.2 and my BT still not works! I called Google Play's support, the problem is not known. I asked for an exchange which I await confirmation. I'm cursed.

Please update the thread if you receive a working replacement.
I've had mine for 2 months, but I hadn't tried using the bluetooth until a couple of days ago.
I had my Nexus 4 since early December, and my Bluetooth always worked....until I upgraded to PanaroidAndroid 3+ (it worked fine when it was 2.99).
I use my Bluetooth everyday, so this is kind of a pain. Are you on a Rom, or are you having issues with a stock Nexus 4?

Do you think this is a hardware problem? And do you think they'd send me a replacement, even though I've had it for 2 months?
I don't use bluetooth that much, but it'd be nice if it actually worked...

Sorry to bump the old thread. I just got my nexus yesterday . I am facing the same Bluetooth problem. I can only transfer files via Bluetooth after a restart. After some time Bluetooth never connects . Tried sending files from multiple devices but to no avail. I reside in India. So sending back the device would not be a better option to me since it would take too much of a cost to get it shipped from here and back. Well i gotta flash a stock image again and see if the problem still exists. A little bit confused and lost
This might not work for you guys at all...but who knows.
If you are using any type of battery saving app, disable it first, restart, and see if BT works for you. My Go Power Master messes up my BT all the time.
Sorry for bumping the old thread . But i have same problem with my Bluetooth. The file transfer works only the first time after restarting my device. The second time it simply fails. None of the devices can send me a file via Bluetooth. Anybody found a solution yet for this ?
I just got my nexus from the US 2 days back. And sending it back for a replacement would be a huge problem since i stay in India.
Any solutions or suggestions would be very helpful.
I can't even turn BT on

I had this issue while I was stock and just out of box 1 month ago with a brand new pair of s10 Motorola's BT headset. I had wound up turning both on and off over and over till I got it. I guess its just lg? Or nexus 4 build with 4.0 BT I think it is anyway. Which I had on another device I preffered the 3.+ over the newest BT ...anyway try turning off both and back on several times. Sometimes now I have to hard reset the s10s
Edit..both units new

I'm fully stock and my Bluetooth is also flaky to say the least.
