Telstra Stock ROM - HD2 General

Hi guys
Just got my Leo today and am ready to start flashing.
Before I start though, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the stock Telstra Australia ROM?
I want to keep it on hand so that I can still use the warranty if anything goes wrong.
I did a quick search but can't seem to find anything.
Thanks in advance

WM5 Rogers ROM

Does anyone have, or know where I might be able to find a Rogers WM5 ROM for the TyTN? Is this even possible to find or am I SOL?
I'm looking for one also
Same here.. I would like to have one onhand just in case something goes wrong with my phone and I need to send in for repairs.
I have the WM6 Rom from HTC's official site installed right now (working perfectly by the way), and not too sure if Rogers would support a return if something went wrong.
Thanks
i just got my new rogers tytn today. I was planning on making a backup and updating ROM. if this is WM5 i will post backup file once I figure out how to do this.
That would be awesome as I am sure lots of here would appreciate a backup incase of warranty triggered
Alright... so I am going to get to this tomorrow morning - but I have no clue how to backup the existing ROM. I see a lot on how to install a NEW ROM, but nothing that I can find about the backup.
Can somebody guide me in the right direction so that I don't screw this up! LOL
Thanks

I will just have to find out how I check which one i have.
Is there somebody that can do this to the Rogers ROM?

I believe that will do what you need in order to flash the original ROM back onto your device.
My brain is getting sore from all of the reading about all of this. Sometimes I think life would be easier if I wasn't a "geek".
I'm probably a newb to this, but I've managed to create my own rogers ROM and have it successfully work. The only thing missing my own precompiled ROM was the Rogers splash screen and the Radio which is suppose to be 1.42...
If there is somewhere I can upload the packaged Rogers ROM please let me know and I'll quickly upload it for everyone.
the files in the Rogers rom are all RAW files. how do you load it to your device?

ziadsa, thank you very much. I am looking at moving to a new phone, even though the TyTN has served me well, so I want to pass it on in original condition. Of course, I will be pointing the new owner to xda-developers. The next owner may want more from the phone, like I got.

I now have the original ROMs back in place and it works beautifully, but the splash screen still shows PDAviet.
Does anyone know how to correct this and get the Rogers screen back in place? I know this forum has been quiet for a long time, so if I don't get a response here, I will try with a new thread.
Thanks in advance.

Original Touch Cruise ROM

Does anyone have the original Touch Cruise ROM - I think it's version 1.28.408.15 (WWE), dated at 22.02.2008 (I almost sure).
I'm relatively a newbie, so if possible I would appreciate if it would be in installation or .nbh file.
Thanks in advanced for anyone who can help

How about to try this original new shipped rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427499
I tried 3.13.405 and it's not stable nor faster than the original. However one of the links is a guide on how to dump a ROM, and it seems easy enough. However I did not manage to do it with my own device, probably because it's a "working" device, with activesync partership.
I need the original PTG Touch Cruise ROM.
OK, I found a solution. One of the links posted above is a stable WM6 ROM, with the original apps and nothing else:
http://210.64.124.194/download/RUU_...o_sign_25.69.30.05_1.58.25.14_murata_Ship.exe
I hope it will help all of us who got frustrated by WM6.1...
Stupid question.

SEA for South East Asia makes sense, because it defaulted at Singapore time zone when I started it. Anyway it works perfectly for me (I live in Israel, and we use the European GSM frequencies here).

When using HARDSPL - Some help please

Hey guys if i follow this guide
[TUT] Flashing your First GSM LEO Rom (For Noobs)
What happens to the rom that is on my phone? Only I am on vodafone now and they will void my warranty for doing this. Is there anyway to get it back to what was originally on it if I had to send it back?
Also if Vodafone release a rom update (not likely) will I be able to but it on and do it so that it looks like I never tinkered with it so that I can still keep the warranty?
Also should I just wait for the new uk 1.66 rom before I do this? Is there anything else I need to know?
Many thanks for your time guys
Mark

You would get more answers if you asked this in the HD2 ROM development section. Check out this thread. You can revert to the original SPLif you follow the instructions there, and flash an original ROM if you have it. Then, no worries about your warranty.

This is a re-release of the botched rom a couple weeks back yes? It looks to be the same size and everything, however after flashing this earlier just to see, it's as snappy on my phone as any custom rom and the battery life is actually insane now.
Like, so much battery now I feel empowered to maybe do some tethering or wifi routing
Updating mine now. The ROM is available on tmobile's site too.
They sent me a text saying an update was available. I hope this fixes all the freezing issues I've been having before I sell this thing and buy an e73.

[Q] Just got HD2

Just got the HD2, its unlocked and being used on AT&T network. I need to install the cab files to get the MMS working right. Do I need to change the ROM to a different one? I know its the original one. What else do you guys recommend I do/change on it? Should I do any of the updates from the HTC support site? I'm reading the stickys now. Thanks in advance.
cctodd
In my opinion, best thing you can do is read all about flashing and flash a new ROM and Radio.
Correct me if I'm wrong, it's the US version? If so, don't touch any of the ROM updates on the HTC site. They contain a x.x.51.x radio and it will brick the US version.
