Hi guys,
the problem is:
I've set a ringtone for alarm clock and another different ringtone for appointments and tasks...when I turn on the alarm clock and it is time to wake up, the alarm sounds...but with both ringtones...overlapped
Why this behaviour?
How do I set the alarm clock properly, so it sounds with just one ringtone?
Thanks in advance
we have at least two other huge threads about alarm problems. why don't You search? there's nothing You can do at the moment. we need a fix from htc, have You reported this bug yet?
ok ok, my fault...next time I will search better for a discussion similar to mine.
However, where I should have to report this bug? I really don't know
Thanks

How I can change the sound of Clock alarm? It is not present in Sound and Notifications...
When you set the alarm and time, click on the alarm icon on the left of the days
But, I'd recommend you get G-Alarm insted I find it much better.
If you are using the built in alarms, click on the bell symbol in Clock & Alarms -> Alarms.
Here you can select the sound, if it repeats and whether to flash and vibrate.
omg ty
and how to add more then three alarms? I am surprised of this limit...
You can't to my knowledge.
With G-Alarm however, you can have many many alarms setup, and you have a much broader options and configs.
I highly recommend using it insted of the basic windows alarm:

It's only a "smart" alarm, not a "prodigy" or "genious" alarm.
I think you're stuck with setting alarms for a week ahead at most. Unless there's a way to make a calendar entry trigger a smart alarm in some way.
Thanks..... Just needed to make sure I was not missing something.
Shame though that Samsung did not add an ability to have a 'Smart Alarm' or normal Alarm from inside the Clock App with date selection.
Using the calendar to set an Alarm is nothing and I mean nothing compared to the dedicated Clock Alarm App.
I have the Verizon LG G2. Not rooted all stock launcher etc.
I use the stock alarm clock app and for the last two days, it has been snoozing itself. I'll wake up without the alarm and it says, "snoozed until". That is what it says when you manually snooze it.
I did some testing this morning, and actually found it snoozing itself, screenshot attached.
I download a different alarm app and that one works just fine. I have looked through other posts regarding this but none are recent or in regards to the G2. If there is a solution that I am not seeing, let me know.
I have tried clearing app data and it still snoozes on its own.
Any help would be appreciated.
Now it is snoozing only the first attempt. The second, 5 min later, alarm is going off..
Bump

Go into alarm settings and if you flip action or shake action enabled. If so then that's prob the culprit.

Thanks for your help.
I looked into settings of the app, and there aren't any activated around flip or shake. However, there are a few around the back buttons (LG G2). Even still, I disabled those and it is still functioning this way. I downloaded an alarm clock app from Play Store and it works just fine.
Wondering if even trying to figure out what is going on is worth my time or effort.
Hello
Hello I have the serious problem with Alarm Clock on my STOCK-NON-Rooted SGS5 (900F)
The config:
Localization services: ON ( not matter what type)
Alarm Clock set to specified hour
Weather and dual clock on lockscreen: OFF
The problem:
Alarm Starts with normal Sound
Device wakes up, on statusbar you can see Localization Icon blinking
After few seconds alarm is silenced - but still on the sceen you can see options to disable it ( disable / snoze )
The only remedy I found is to disable GPS/Localization services completly...
Does anyone know BETTER solution not breaking the device functionality?
Thanks in advance!
Looks pretty bad...
Noone has any clue how to fix it?
Maybe I should send it for warranty repair...
Device is pretty uses because alarm clock and GPS are very important functions of the device.
and in case that one function breaks another it really sucks...
Anyone also have issue with Alarm? is it working for you all the time? thanks

for me its also not working everytime. i ended in installing google clock from playstore.
i think clock fells into doze and cannot activate alarm or something similiar.
Does the stock alarm app still send a notification about an hour before the alarm goes off? It was doing that when the phone came out so I ended up downloading a timely until it got fixed.
I know this sounds stupid did you move the pill button so that it switches the alarm on? When I first set it up, the pill did not automatically come on and I missed the alarm, school boy error I know
the alarm is active before I sleep. I missed alarms and I installed Google Clock also. Much reliable now.
Any chance "do not disturb" doesn't have the alarm exception?
