Hey, I keep posting this question and I get plenty of lookilou's but no answers.
Has anyone tested or got data transfer working for BT in any of the 2.1 builds for the CDMA? I'd really like to use it to load my contacts into my navi so I can use speed dialing.

If you look in the first post of the 2.1 thread it will tell you
which 2.1 post are you referring too; I remember seeing one where they said they didn't test BT but I was curious if anyone loaded and had... I tried but it didn't work however I was reading on sister sites there's certain for getting it to work and was curious if anyone else had success.

hi folks i've had my hermes for about a week now and i feel pretty good about it. i've flashed several different roms to it so far (sticking to Schap's for now) but i've noticed recently that when i go to send a file to a friends device or something my hermes wont connect to anything except my headset. i was wondering if this was a rom specific issue or is it my device? can anyone help me out?

Just a long shot, but it's something I wouldn't have thought about before I heard it, but have you got "Beam" switched off? It's in Start > Settings > Connection > Beam, or in some Comm Managers. Although it switches on Infra-Red, it also has some effects on what Bluetooth can and can't do. If it's switched off, try switching it on before connecting to your mate's phones.
If this helps, post back so we know. If it doesn't, post back and someone with more idea than me will come along!!

i tried your idea Confused stu but beaming still won't work for me. I think it may be a rom issue. Is there a way to correct this (maybe from in the rom)? i really like Schaps rom but beaming is a must have!

It was a fault highlighted in the initail build of
TNT.19199 Series UC (Vanilla/Official/Professional)HighQuality.
and as instructed i installed Dr Yar Bluetooth app and all is well.

So I’m running the newest radio with DCD’s ROM from his 3.0 kitchen. Everything is running great. I love the great rev A and the stable radio. I started poking around over at ppcgeeks and I’ve run across a few tips and hacks to help my internet speeds be all they can be. Some, like changing your DNS really helped. Others though, I was a little hesitant to try out until I learned a little bit more about them. Instead of resurrecting some zombie threads, I decided to start a new one with links to the hacks in question. I would really appreciate any factual answers and comments on these. Thanks.

OK, this one is a little old, and the reasoning behind it seems to be on the mark, but I have a mogul and don’t have much memory to play around with. Anyone out there using this hack on there mogul? What do you have it set to? How much faster would this hack increase my speed if I tether using WMWifiRouter? And if you want, care to go into detail why this works?

This one I have my doubts about (increasing the TimerWheelSize). Don’t get me wrong, if someone could explain to me why this would work, I’m all for it, but it seemed everyone did this hack with the DNS hack and was attributing the increase of speed to TimerWheelSize. Once more, anyone willing to explain the details of this hack and if it will increase my speed if I tether using WMWifiRouter?

I was able to use PAN to connect from my laptop to my Mogul, and get connection speeds over 1100 kb/s. I'm not sure what other benefit would be realized with a WIFI router setup...unless I'm misunderstaning what it's being used for.
I need to get an older version of wifirouter, the new ones dont work with my phone and i dont have any registration info for them either but the 0.92 i think it was, did work and no need for reg. info i lost the damn program and now im stuck, please, ive been looking for the post that had the program but i cant find it, any help

After flashing ookba's 6.5 onto my Dash 3G, I can no longer connect to the internet. Previously had 3G working on the stock WM6.1. Are there any workarounds for this? Tried searching and couldn't come up with anything. There were a lot of posts from other people complaining about lack of internet after the flashing, but no solid answers that I could find. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps me out.
edit: to expand upon this, it seems like it worked for a moment when this first started, because the AccuWeather accurately located me and downloaded a weather report, but now even that is reading "No Internet?!" and I can't fix it. I'm asking about the 3G Internet, because WiFi works fine, but I want to be using the 3G so I can get it anywhere.

I have an sever problem with my androids, i have tried many versions of those posted in here, it was working very fine about one or two months ago, i mean the GPRS. now i have the indication of the availability of the GPRS or the 3G but not exchanging any data i feel really sad for that
i remember i changed my version with Eclair which i feel more attracted but i cant still connect then i changed to the other Hero version but also not working.
there are couple of posts talking about that problem but the solution is not clear, could someone advise what should i change in the files of zimage or whatever to make it work again.
somebody says anything about their experience with such problem.
