This is the best place where i can ask about any query on HTC HD2...
The HTC HD2 is finally available in India so iam going to buy it asap...
The price inc VAT is Rs 36,990/- on Univercell...
I have ordered it and it should be available within 3-4 days...
I have been reading all the feedbacks from the members here about the HTC HD2...
Some are positive but also some are negative...
So i wanted to know all the Pros and Cons of this device...

To be fair, the OP's question is so vague that advising him to search is the only suitable answer to give. There are numerous threads on this forum that discuss the pros and cons of the HD2 and it wouldn't be too hard to search for them and get an idea of the problems that people are having.

No i dont think so. There are really lots of threads around here about the good and bad sides of the HD2. Just do some search. Thats not meant in a rude way. But another discussion of what is good and bad would be too much (in particular: as he has already ordered the device he will have to do a lot of searching in the next weeks Get used to it.

Err.. Actually, it emphasises the point that it is so easy to do a search and get the answers you are looking for. Think I've seen about 10 threads already without searching regarding pro's and con's. Rude and condescending would be me telling you to f off and read the rules!

Short answer... the HD2 is for you if you are looking for a multimedia device.
If you want a business phone, forget about it... don't let that windows mobile thing tricks you.
HD2 is a Iphone competitor, just watch HTC's CEO annoucing the Leo and comparing it to the Iphone...

Can you tell us what kind of improvements one might expect? in terms of compatibility with hd2?
i don't understand some people at all maybe its me but, why can't you happy with the work the guys do to get a.droid running on hd2 now wait and look at the posts instead of asking as soon as a new product is launched....when will this be done when will that be done. the guys do a stunning job and do it as a hobby i guess they don't get full time pay for it

as pointed out by paulrgod, this forum is for the hd2, now what you need to do is take that big ol' phone you got to some collector, you'll prob get quite a few quid then, go buy a desire HD, save yourself the trouble of learning all this new tech stuff,

Just came in d/l, installed. Had the coolest Android green gears ani. I have ever seen. Haven't had time to check it out. Keep your eyes open for it, do manual check for it.
Yeah the new spinning gears inside the Android during the update were really cool. I kinda freaked out when they froze for about a minute at the end of the process. Still the standard Android boot logo after the update though.
New version: Acer_A500_4.010.13_COM_GEN2 (previously was on 4.010.11)
Does anyone know what this patch does? I happily report it does not break root access, nor did it break my Netflix library fix. Also, my same tun.ko still works.

Hey look im sorry but i was in a bad mood and maybe could have a bit more gentle. its just that i have been seeing threads ALL OVER THE PLACE about updates and there are sooo many dumb threads and duplicates that I got pissed off. Im sorry to you, the other guys can kiss my ass because they are behind (probably where they like it lol) because they are doing EXACTLY what I did if you think about it
I think there is a big need for more mods here.

I appreciate your response but it seems as a result of this whole thing I was put on probation because of the original ? post, kind of ticks me off to put it mildly ! No reason as to why. I completely understand when you have a bad day & respond the way you did I've done the same thing.

Hey Johny, prior to this post in my posts, there was name then under that member. Since this thread I had member [ OP] , maybe I'm misinterpreting the meaning. I was really tired & irritable late last night. (grumpy old man syndrome) doesn't really matter today. I've always been curious what the letters designate & just assumed. Thanks for the concern.
