Hey people, I have recently got me a Kaiser...and just got a new screen put in it, and it is going to replace my everyday phone, so this is my farewell.
Thanks to everyone here in the Herald forums for the ROMs, the advice, and the friendship. You have all been great to me.
I know that I didn't post nearly as much here as I did in the Wizard section, but I'd like to think that I helped someone somewhere at least.
Anyways, thanks again...if you guys need any help with anything please don't hesitate to PM me...I shall be lurking around these forums from time to time of course to see whats up, but most of my time will be the Kaiser boys.
Thanks for everything!-ashasaur AKA Christian

Whom do you want to thank?
Do you want to say thank you for
- helping
- ROMs
- Ideas
- Tools
- or just for beeing a memeber of Herald/Wing-Community....
Do it here! With my 2000th post I wanted to start a thread to say
THANK YOU
espacially to:
Itje - my mentor
Gambit - my testing friend
Pureskillzz - damn he tested sooo much for me
Anichillus - a good friend
Ttran - chatting and joking
Ivanmmj - everytime wondering what will be his next project
Duprade - where are you??
Ikarus - for Batterystatus
And you????
Not sure what to say, but I definitely have to thank you Daniel for being the backbone here in this community
and Itje for being a pioneer in developing impressive ROMs for the Herald.
Of course I have to mention Ivan, Duprade, Pureskillz and Aserg for their never ending effort in helping out wherever they can,
But Itje and Papamopps truly formed this community in the first place untill today.
Thanks to all of you for making this forum a damn cool place to be!
Ah well, here you go Daniel...
CONGRATULATIONS to your 2000 post here at XDA-DEV
congrats, just looking forward to herald un-brick!!
I know dude! I've been extremely busy..
graduating this Saturday ... and I took an overload of classes, I even had to get approval from the Dean in order to take that many ... so the past month has been rough!! My last final exam is tomorrow ... then Saturday I graduate!
My hat is off to :
ITJE - the godfather of the Herald rom
Aserg - great contributions
Papamopps - who is THE LAW, and keeps us in line.
and everyone else at XDA. Without you guys, this place would be nothing. When you check out any other PPC forum, they all suck.
I would just like to say thanks to anyone who has looked into, figured out, built, shared, sweated, toiled, worked on, researched, helped, or just plain old helped someone head in the right direction. There is no way to list you all, but you know who you are. Thanks a million.
I can say nothing more than the post above. I agree fully. THANK YOU!!!! My wing wouldn't be the same without all of you.
I just wanted to say a BIG thanks to everyone really. If it wasn't for this site, I would have the slick phone mods I do. I also wanted to give a big thanks to ilikepu for helping me with my questions personally. This website rocks.
Huge thanks to all the developers, XDA staff and the nice people who visit the forums.
Congrats papamopps on the 2k posts. Now get a proper spell checker ffs

If you can read this text.....
Thank a programmer!
I thought my wing was cool when i took it out of the box. two hours later i wanted to get my money back. I stumbled into this forum from a google search. You have all made my wing the phone i believe it was intended to be. I would like to thank all of you who have designed/developed and just plain pointed out the obvious.
thanks
I want to thank Ivan for all his dedication and hard work. He's a real good mentor
I'm here as of my first HTC ( The Magician )
So I THANK all of you who helpt me with my Small and Big Problems and mistakes.
Ghostrider
I'd like to thank:
Itje, I have been flashing his roms since something like 1.x
Olipro, for the hard spl which allows me to flash all those great roms
All the other people on XDA that make my herald something that people actually envy
Thanks to Duprade and Tyler for they wrote the first posts here that I ever read and helped me to realize that I can "change" my phone instead of getting another when I get bored of it.
Thanks again to all who have said, "If you don't read all of the instructions, you will brick your phone and you are on your own." I read and then read again and then read some more. Brickless. (knocking on wood)
And most recently to Papamopps for his latest creation. It's sweet!
Oh and one more honorable mention to Duprade. Dude, without your keyboard fix a lot of us would be screwed.
I'd love to thank Ivan for his amazing easy bake oven.
i would like to thank papamopps for helping me with stuff and his wonderful roms.
ivan for all his tools and teachings posted.
m3xican5 for teaching me stuff that would make my future skins better.
itje for great roms as well.
and the list goes on...
I didn't realize people had thanked me here. ^_^ Thank you guys.

ill see you in the diamond forum soon
come on orange...pull your finger out!
It's rare to see someone take so much of their time and devote it to others.
The cooks work is obvious'- and their dedication impressive.
racerx's work is equally dedicated - and I feel a lot less recognised.
Even if I never had to refer to racerx's guides (I was flashing before trinityguides was born) - I did read out of curiosity - and wished it had been there when I started.
Best wishes you lucky man. I've alway's said you're a Diamond Geezer
I'm very new to modding my G1, and this site was an enormous help. By reading around, I kinda got the feeling that some of the vets were getting annoyed by the hand holding they were being asked to do by alot of the newcomers. Also, by reading a few posts, I was able to root my G1, install a custom theme, and update my radio and all that manually. I'm happy to say this is my first post, and ikt's not a stupid question (maybe a frivolous thank you??). Thank everyone that contributes to this site. You guys are awesome.
As I've done before, I thank you for actually doing it yourself and not asking to be spoon fed and having your hand held as you said. Hope to have you around here for awhile. If you ever run into any problems PM me and I would be glad to help, if I can.
Yes sir...
So, i just wanted to post real quick in the appropriate place (i think) i quick shout out at the people who helped (helping) us when no one else wanted to (or stayed with )
So, from the bottom of all of our hearts, thank you *Imnuts* and *Adrynalyne* for accepting this challenge of making our phones... awesome... lol
And thank you DroidXCon for donating your continuums
[[[This was originally a post asking for help, because i was messing too much (again ) with kernels... But i fixed it, and had no better ideas to do with this thread lol]]]
Thanks , and glad you got your problem fixed.
i agree with trailblazer101. thank you to those who have worked so hard on making the continuum awesome.
I dont know about you guys, but i was always taught to say thank you when someone does something for you which is helpful.
So thanks, to everyone who has made a modded ROM, posted a guide, splashscreen answered questions or generally dumped their hard learned knowledge onto the great section of the forum.
I was a mere noob, plodding around with WM6.5 and everything else stock on my HD2, and was thinking about dumping it and buying something new, then i started reading about android on it, and that lead me here and now i have a modded rom, splashscreen and i wont be buying a new phone until this bad boy either bricks or something better comes out.
Special thanks to whoever wrote/figured out about the whole Task29 thing. You sir are a fecking legend and deserve a serious pat on the back. As soon as i sort out my paypal account, you will be receiving some wedge for a beer from me.
Special thanks to the person who coded and compiled the Nexus Gingerbread ROM, so damned stable its untrue.
So, yeah, gushing aside, i've learned a lot in the past few weeks because of this forum, and i feel much better for it, so thank you. Sincerely, thank you.

Have you clicked "thanks button" in all their threads?
Obviously, i also thought a more personal touch would be appreciated.
