Which Programs do you use on your Wizard?

I'm kinda curious which programs you got installed on your Wizard.
I'd thought it would be nice to exchange our experiences here.
I'll go first
SBSH PocketBreeze v5
Adds alot of the functions of your phone directly on your Today screen, like your agenda, tasks, notes, messages and you can add other functions like pcoket msn, tomtom, etc aswell.
Works very well!
TranCreative Magic Button
A taskmanager which adds the ability to add programs you're running to your startbar, close single or all running programs and some other nice features.
Has a few problems with closing down active sync and call application.
ScaryBear Software Check Notifications
Cleans up duplicate entries in the database of your phone to increase performance.
Can't life without it
C. Ghrisler & Co. Total Commander
Alternative file explorer which supports registery editing and much more!
Good alternative to the build in file explorer
TCPMP The Core Pocket Media Player
Mediaplayer which support almost every type of media file there is, runs very smoothly and very stable.
Can't life without it
TomTom Navigator 5
Navigation software for PDA, but works well on your Wizard. Support traffice, weather and much more (extra services).
A pain to get it installed on your Wizard, but when it works you don't want anything else. Running v5.21 now.
Worms PPC
Do I need to say more...
Still looking for a better taskmanager and a snes emulator optimized for the Wizard.

Have you tried SmallMenu? Works great on the Universal, should work fine on the Wizard.
It's a task manager and launcher in one. Commercial or free versions available. Wish I'd written it!

Trying out PocketPlus now, working great now. But it's a trial version.

Pocket plus 3
i have installed Spb Pocket Plus v3 on my new Wizard. it installs fine until i soft reset it then the dam thing would start it just hangs on the deadly o2 screen.
Has anyone had this problems. how do i sort thing out without uninstalling it.

Idea
j11, the owner of riot.ru, got BLifePlugin on his smartphone and asked me for a PocketPC version of this plugin for his HTC TyTN.
I was too lazy to support a PocketPC configuration of the plugin. Well, my next idea was better and much more useful (I hope).
Description
PluginAdapter is a PocketPC Today plugin and can “host” virtually any MS Smartphone homescreen plugin that doesn’t use smartphone-specific features of windows mobile.
PluginAdapter has only one variable to set: homescreen XML file path. You can change it with your favourite registry editor at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Items\PluginAdapter\HomeXMLFilename (REG_SZ)
If this value is absent, the file
\My Documents\PluginAdapter.home.xml
will be used.
This XML file is an ordinary smartphone homescreen xml with one restriction: you can have only one <plugin> defined (current version doesn’t support more). You should leave default, scheme, etc. intact because color scheme, fonts, padding and many more are defined there.
Interface
PluginAdapter doesn’t have its own interface except that one little information box displayed when first Action event occurs (see below).
Compatibility
Plugin will work on touchscreen devices running Windows Mobile 2002 or later (PocketPC or Phone Edition).
All tests were passed with PocketPC emulator (Windows Mobile 2003) because I do not have PocketPC. Some guys reported that PluginAdapter works well on Q-Tek S100 (Windows Mobile 2003 SE), HTC TyTN (WM5), Acer n311 (WM5). I used my BLifePlugin as a guest smartphone plugin for all tests (installation package contains both the PluginAdapter and BLifePlugin, version 0.3).

And what features it has?

I've installed it and made XP after it. Not very fast, rather nice look (TouchFlo 3.0 build 31508). A lot of storage -- 133Mb!!! Only a few applications, so free storage is 125.9Mb (MS Office cut to Excel, PPoint and Word)
BUT free memory just after start is 43.4 Mb, after a little work - 38 Mb. Where is the memory?!

It is working fine for me, indeed lots of storage memory and other mem is bit on the low side but still fast enough... im using the newest radio 1.59.44.02
camera and gps working and i have an extreme good and clean connection !
Bluetooth is working, Wifi is working, Volumecontrol is working,
although 1 thing is strange, on the right screenshot it says rom date: 12/11 but on my phone it says 12/05 while the rest looks the same....
probably a cookers thing to update their own phone every day

The dialer in the rom does not have video call support, however you can install a video call capable dialer and it should work fine. There are a few floating around as cab files that are easily installed.

is manila working in landspace mode?

Old Internet Explorer in WM 6.5?

Hi everyone,
Is there anyway to install the OLD version of Internet Explorer (the one that came with WM 6) in the new 6.5? I am actually hoping for a side-by-side install.
Before you all think I am crazy… here is the deal.
I am a software developer and have a number of highly functional web applications (for entering orders, invoices, etc - see screen shots) that integrate with a number of popular ERP systems.
However, some of them are breaking in the new IE6. I cannot afford to not be able to demo these apps.

Here is a cab file IE6. Credit goes to vin255764. I found this on one of the threads over at PPCGEEKS.

Does anyone know how i can install this and the newer version that came with 6.5 together? I tried installing this cab and it removed IE6 and replaced it with 5.
The reason i want both is that for most of the sites I look at I absolutely HATE having no "fit to one column" feature so i can only scroll vertically.

In case anyone was interested, the above CAB file only sets one registry key to "0" (to switch to IE5 mode) or "1" to switch to the new IE6 (as in WM6.5).
The key is:
HKLM\Security\Internet Explorer
"MSHTML" = 0 or 1
Just kill the Iexplore.exe task and rerun it to run in the new mode!
You could even create two mort scripts that each have its own shortcut, and depending on which shortcut you launch, will have mortscript change this reg key and then launch IE in that mode.
P.S. A BIG thank you goes out to microsoft for adding this backwards-emulation to the new IE6 - great work!

Overview:
For 2 years I have been changing my ROM every day and I couldn't find a good ROM. Untill now I have tested almost all avalible ROMs. One day I realised that the official ROM is the best because I noticed it is faster than any 6.1 and the battery life is unmatched. But it is old and has useless programs. So i modified it and it's even faster ! I'm using the ROM for 3 months and it rocks I won't cnage it again.

Esmertec Java, World Card Mobile, AsusStatus, BSwitch, RemotePresenter, Network Setting, Profile, My Secrets, Voice Commander, Windows Update, Calculator, Catalog, BubbleBreaker, Solitare, InternetSharing, RemoteDesktop, Office Mobile, Net Framework 2, Transcriber, Windows Live, Ringtones, Default Settings, Error Reporting, USSDHandler, Block Recognizer, Letter Recognizer, WakeUP, The integrated pictures and rigntones...
!! Notes, Search, Tasks are not removed. I just deleted the link files. You can found them in the \Windows\ folder !!

Settings:
Turn off security, Hide Certificates, Customer Feedback, Encryption, SDHC Patch, and many others..
Bugs:
Don't use the integrated Ringtones, if you select one of them the phone will only vibrate and there will be no sound on incoming call. Still if you like some of them you must copy the desired ones in the \Windows\Rings folder and change their names. Then you can use them (The ones with the changed name)
Info:
The settings for SRS WOW are made to deliver powerfull sound through the speaker. But every time you restart your device you must go to Settings -> System -> WOW HD Settings -> TruBass and set the last two sliders to the right like shown on the 5th picture. If you don't like the settings you can move the SRS Definition Level slider. Move it to the right for power and to the left for quality. I don't recommend changing the other settings. Also if you want I can send you the best settings for headphones.
Additional Tweaks/Programs:

Battery Indicator (Indicates Battery level. Stays in the tittle bar)
CloseAll (Closes all opened programs. Highly recommended - use it to restore ram)

Keyboard Skins (Changes Keyobards skin)
Office Mobile 6.1 (I removed the integrated in WM6 because it didn't read docx and this does.)
RDcalc (A perfect replace for the integrated one which I removed)
ActiveSyncKiller (Kills ActiveSync when it's not used)
FileDialogChanger (Changes the interface for opening a file and etc. Usefull for old programs)
