So I got my HTC Magic today. I received a MyTouch 3G (I love it! The packaging is very nice as well!) and I live in the UK.

You're going to have to wait for video calling in the US... Cingular has not yet activated the feature (but are allegedly going to do so sometime in Q4 this year).

Whats going on my fellow BLACKSTONE peeps, I have finally recieved my HTC HD in the mail from HANDTEC today....and all i have to say is WOW this phone is definitely worth it. I guess i will be jumping ship to T-MOBILE to run this phone. Sorry sprint, but your HTC phones aren't cutting it. For anyone else who may want to know, I will be selling my TOUCH PRO and possibly my other phones on EBAY, but for sure my TOUCH PRO, need money to buy that T-mobile plan. Anyone SERIOUSLY interested, PM me, and yes the phone is in brand new, DAMN good shape, i used it for a week and a half. I am selling it with the snap-on case and all the accessories that came in the box, heck the thing is back in the box, in my closet. So if interested PM me before i put it on EBAY.
But as for now, I will be calling XDA my new home, this place is the BLACKSTONE capital as far as discussions, apps and programs

Hmm.. Well anyway i have a Rogers Magic with 288Mb Ram, i was gonna get the mytouch but considering it only had 192mb, i said its not worth it.
2000 tmob u.s. employees were selected to recieve the myTouch a few weeks ago. im curious to see how many know the phone they have is capable of half the stuff it really is.

lol! well i was actualy at tmobile yesterday purchasing a screen protector for my Magic! and they didnt know believe me when i said the mytouch had 192mb Ram instead of the 288 from Htc!
but as far as i know, the phone itself is great apart from the ram issue. it has more flash memory so that people dont complain about there not being enough space for apps..and blah blah blah..
Another T-Mo champ here. They should be here if they are worth the title. Sad though, I think most are not. They just wanted the Phone.

i got the TP2 as well everyone at the store hates me, haha. one day ill have my Hero pimped G1, the next day ts the myTouch, and the TP2 the day after that, its great.
oh and about sherpa, yall should have got an email with a link to dowload it. i even put it on my G1, its a beta, but its pretty sweet, ill get the link in a sec...

could still be employees.. Some employees have had them for some time if they were testers.. Mine is coming under the regular employee shipments..

I have a hardly used HTC Desire up for sale or swap to anyone interested.
It was on Orange but it has been unlocked and debranded.It has no scratches or marks on the phone and is in perfect working order.
I dont use the phone at all and so find it pointless having a £400 phone sitting around when someone else could make use of it. Ideally i would like a swap for another handset and obviously depending on the handset some cash too seeing as it will most likely be for a cheaper handset.

I'm from slovenia, (you know, between italy and austria ) and my freind just bought an unbranded (unlocked) wildfire but its got only 3rd of the capabilites the desire offers, so i think it would be best for her, to get a desire.

But anyhow, i got a desire and dude, spend some quality time with it, when u get to see its potential you will be amazed it can do almost anything your laptop can do. Its a mini laptop and trust me you will get fond of it in no time as soon as you realize how easy this phone works and how powerful it is.
When u personalize the phone with some extra apps from market that will make your phone your personal assistant, you wont give it away for 1000€ i know i wouldnt trade mine for nothing. Maybe for seat leon 2008 FR edition, white only

I read that the Wifi version will launch in Europe round about the same time as the full 3g one. Any ideas? I'm planning to get one (wifi) from Italy, when my dad goes up there in May, if it is out then.

The wifi version comes out in UK in the first week of April, so I am guessing it should be around the same time in rest of Europe, give or take a week.

Never used them, but they are a reputable seller. Forgot to mention that their price does not include Customs duty.
Another importer that has it at the cheapest price is have2have. Their pricing is the total cost. But I am not sure if they are a reputable seller, trying to find out and will let you know.
The advantage of ordering from aureustech is they provide 6 months after sales support.

Yeah, if you planning on getting the 3g version from europe/UK I suggest you get a Cell C 2gb data sim for R999. I use it for my phone and it works great and I get good speeds.

Do they have the silver version out there ? Was trying to find out if we will get the silver version over in the UK and which one it will be 3G or WIFI only
