hi.
there was a registry tweak to amplify the speaker volume - for incoming ring/messages - my volume is set on max but is still quite hard to hear when i'm outside...
plz guide me thru the registry or let me know if there is any other way.

Sometimes when I take the X1i with my hand I accidentally press one of the Volume buttons (usually Down) and the ring volume decreases. Once I lowered it till the very low and failed to recognize some calls.
Is it possible somehow to disallow so easy ring volume control?
I'd prefer to leave Up/Down volume buttons for Voice/Speaker volume control but disable for Ring volume.
Thanks.
I think AE Buttons Plus cna map any key. So you might be able to just re-map the volume key to nothing.
Yeah, this volume problem happens to me too sometimes. Really sucks!
Nop. Not good.
The Volume buttons are used in many ways.
- to inc/dec Ring volume before a call,
- to inc/dec Speaker volume during the call.
I'd like to still be able increase/decrease the Speaker volume during the call but to disable the Ring volume control through those buttons.
Sure there are some Registry keys can be edited but the question is which ones?
I wonder if there is some kind of volume controler which can make the volume higher/lower, I really feel the volume is sometimes too low even if I got 100% on everything.
There is a cab to raise the TD2 volume; I think is in software threads.
hi,
is there a program that can limit the volume for headphones ?
i want to use the hd2 for listening to music but when i have it in my pocket, i often press the volume button and it gets really loud.
second question, can i disable the hardware volume buttons while i'm listening ?
starchild
To raise the incall volume, turn on and off the speaker volume before your call connects. Hope this will help to all using evo kernel.
Srry to say, this is nothing new....already discussed in many topics...
