Disappearing emails NTL account- please help - HD2 General

Hi, I've managed to hopefully sort incoming and outgoing emails for my ntl account, but they seem to vanish on a whim. I've tried searching for a similar problem, but can't find anything.
My incoming server is pop.ntlworld.com and outgoing is smtp.t-email.co.uk. I've set it to 'Leave messages on server' both on the phone and on my pc. But...it seems that eihter when it send/receives (every 2 hrs) thcurrent emails in my inbox disappear and the new mail is shown.
Its really annoying, as the phone is almost perfect for me, bar this little prob/bug
Any ideas?
Cheers

anybody?

Maybe: within "pocket msn" options, page sms: uncheck sms-delivery.
it was tmobile alert... i unchecked it...
thats also why it was trying to download 120 messages that were not in my inbox .... damn thing

Repeating unread e-mails notification

Hello!
I have very annoying problem and didn't found any solution so far.
There are few e-mail accounts configured on my HD: Exchange and 4 POP3 accounts.
I am not reading all the e-mails as soon as they arrive so I all the time have ~10 unread messages. Usually I dismiss all notifications or even open an e-mail message and then mark it as "Unread" just not to forget about it.
So, the problem is that after I dismiss a notification or even mark a message as "Unread" manually I am keep getting notifications that there are some "New emails" arrived. I get these notifications every few minutes, so it is very very annoying.
Does anyone know the solution?
Best regards,
efrost

[Q] Why emails does not send immediatly?

I tried almost all ROMS in XDA, none of them send the email immediately, although it is set to "SEND EMAIL when i CLICK SEND" .... i have to click "send/ receive" again to start sending...
this is for all accounts i have... not a specific email..
Any Idea?
Nope, and i don't get this behavior... strange, never heard anyone with this problem either...

I receive emails but not able to send any!!

Hi everybody!!
i have set my Gmail and Hotmail correctly on my phone in fact i used to send emails and receive them normally, but now lately i start having this annoying issue of only receiving e-mails and not being able to send any!! and when i try to send an e-mail i just get this white page stuck and have no other way to go rather than to hit the tab back to go back to my inbox
i looked in some forums and came across checking the box of authentication which i did, yet i still face the same problem.
can anybody help in this ? thank you in advance

[Q] Notification Sounds [RESOLVED]

This is more of an annoyance and not really a problem but curious to see if anyone has a workaround. I use SMS and EMail notification sounds and they work no problem. SMS comes in and it dings...that's it. Now with email I use a notification sound for incoming mail with my exchange server. New mail comes in, notification sound goes off as you'd expect. The difference being on the email it will continue to notify every 5 minutes until I open mail. I don't need to be reminded every 5 minutes. I don't use gmail or pop3 so I'm not sure if it does it with those as well or if it's Exchange specific. Anyone else get this and/or figured out how to limit it to a single notification?
[UPDATE] Figured it out. Just had to change the Update schedule from 5 minutes to Push mail. Thought I had that set already but apparently not. Now it notifies only once.
