I wonder if it is possible to run the camera sofware of the Xperia in the HD2, I installed the R3A-XperiaCamera.cab and runs but does not open the camera,it would be nice!

X1 is shipped with WM6.1... the only addition is the panel GUI... but thanks for grabit

as long as it has a grapic driver it is better than htc for the moment.

I thought that HTC was still behind the Experia.
I would like to get the new keyboard from the HD to my X1 , i'm trying to port it myself right now, but i do not get it to work as it should, could any 1 get it working, pleas leava a post here!!!
i would also like the audiobooster, album (working) youtube app (i'm working on this to, but its a *****) and dialer with all funktions..

Hey everybody i was wondering if its possible to get the TOUCH HD Camera cab.... because of its Touch Focus ofcourse
that would be amazing....also i was wondering if its possible to get 850 mhz without installing a new ROM...cuz i think the warranty with ROGERS is voided if i do rite?
what exactly is touch focus?
in Touch HD....u can click on sum1's face or any object and the camera will focus on it...instead of Touch Diamond's ,where it'll focus to what/whoever the middle cursor is on.
i knw touch HD has 5mp. and alot of possibility of it not being possible...but i thought i'd ask anyway just incase theres a production happening....or even a way to control the focus by swipe of a hand? ...

well i managed to run xperia camera on my raphael but due the screen is bigger i couldn't get all of the camera stuff on my screen so it has to be resized down to vga.. well and i couldn't access any menu on the camera.. think xperia has a dedicated camera button and it has to be keymapped to the Raphael.. diamond and raphael is very similar phones so i guess if anyone managed to convert the sizes it might work.. could anyone with blackstone try to extract the camerarunner.exe file i guess it would be and get the resources and language files for it?.. well or manage to share the blackstone camera files here..

sumhow alter the VALUE of focus? or however that works...
cuz i know the diamond phone can focus on really close objects but it won't...during the "autofocus' process..i see my object clear and then it goes away...so thats also another bummer...

I just like the xperia camera (on my X1i), but I like some of the functions on the HTC Touch Diamond camera I have..
like: panorama pictures, frames, ...
Now, I'm wondering if this could be implemented into the existing camera executable or if this could be extracted into a diffirent camera.exe?

Mobiola doesnt work well on Oovoo .. I get all kind of green scanlines in the picture.

Nothing happens, its a shame. Softwarecoders sleeping on trees. Since many years there are Phones with intrgrated cameras and wlan and bluetooth, but developers don't think ahead and are not able to calculate 1+1.

what's wrong with Webcam plus?
i tried it and it worked for me. Ok, there seems to bee a bug if you set to very high resolutions. Than sometimes there is shown only a black windows and i had to restart. Did you get any more failures?
tinyCAM worked on my stock rom but not on my current Energy rom anymore...

The idea is to have a regular USB web camera functionality in HD2, so you can connect it with Skype for example. tinyCam is video server. Ideally it would be great to have a simulation of some generic video camera, so you don't have to install any third party drivers/software.
