Hi Guys,
quick question... how do i create a shortcut to turn on mobile data using anycut instead of going to menu | settings | wireless controls | and pressing mobile network?
I managed to create a shortcut to turn on wireless capability in the same section but cant figure this one out. I know its probably dead simple so apologies and any help will be greatly apprecieted.

Hi, is there a way to create a shortcut to the bluetooth settings?
I want to add a shortcut to spb Pocket Plus...
It may be "\windows\ctlpnl.exe -???" but I can not figure it out, or a way to edit a shortcut and assign an icon?

there is a way. goto http://discussion.brighthand.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=79526 the shortcuts and dll for the icons are available for download. it works.

Ive noticed some of the roms have a desktop wifi and bluetooth status bar, just wondered if that is a seperate available download that will work on WM5???

....same as a search of the forum and the Wiki would....
Install the attached CAB, go to Start | Settings | Today | Items tab and tick the "Wireless" option, then "ok" your way back out and it will be there.
You can also change the behaviour of the plugin so that it jumps to Comm Manager when you tap on it (so you can switch WLAN/BT on/off) - but you gotta search the Wiki for that one

Im working on a kiosk application for Windows Mobile Professional devices.
Therefore i need to remove all icons from the start menu so that the user can only
access the applications from my kiosk welcome screen. This kiosk app. is part of a school project, so im a bit short on time...
I have succesfully removed all icons exept the today icon.
Does anyone know how to remove this shorcut from start menu?
Im guessing i need to edit the registry, but i have not been able to fnd
this value... Nor have i found a today.lnk on the ppc.

I need a homescreen shortcut to the Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Mobile Networks -> Network Mode menu on my Droid 2 Global. It isn't listed in the Activities menu as far as I can tell, so I'm assuming I'll have to program it manually, but I don't have the first clue how.
I use LauncherPro which I know allows custom shortcuts, but if anyone has any ideas how to do this I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks

I have read multiple threads on how to add internt favorites and various apps to the startmenu as a shortcut. That is pretty easy. I also use Cookies' Hone Tab to add shorcuts to my homescreen. Again pretty easy. However, neither of these methods allow me to add the "Bluetooth Settings" (starmenu\settings\bluetooth) icon to start menu or homescreen. I just cannot find the location of the BT Settings in my file explorer to add it as a shorcut. Also, Cookies Home tab does not find it when trying to add it as a program.
Anyone know where it is so I can make a shortcut to it or is there another method? I just want to add a shortcut/icon on my homescreen that lets me go straight into The Bluetooth Settings Menu. The BT Toggle switch under CHT is not enough. I have many BT devices I switch bewteen and they often do not pair automatically as they should and I would like a quicker way to access BT settings to switch between devices and profiles manually when needed. I have looked on Windows Marketplace, OMArket, and forums for an BT app i could just add that would do this but could not find any apps specifically for BT settings. Anyone know of any?
